I grew up on a farm and I have cared for domestic animals most of my life. I have 2 Persian cats of my own who require significant maintenance due to their long hair and face shapes. I'm usually the go-to friend for pet advice as I enjoy learning about different breeds. In addition, I am currently taking cat grooming courses to allow me to better take care of long-haired cat.

I ensure all instructions from owners are followed explicitly. I can ensure cats/dogs are kept cool in hotter months and keep regular contact with owners where any issues arise. At every visit, I'll take and forward pictures and videos of your pet to put your mind at ease while you are away.

I cannot recommend Tafana enough! Right from the start she took great care of our kitties whilst we were on holiday. There was a heatwave during our time away, and Tafana took extra care to make sure our kitties were comfortable and safe. We loved our daily video updates that were sent as well. Additionally, Tafana is great with grooming cats too! She helped us with our boy cat as he needed a little help with a sanitary shave! 🙂 I will without a doubt book with Tafana again in the near future and recommend you do too! Tafana was an amazing cat sitter and took such great care of Izzy while I was away. She was incredibly attentive and kept me updated, which really put my mind at ease, especially during the recent heatwave. She made sure Izzy always had plenty of fresh water, kept the house cool and comfortable, and spent time playing with her so she had company and stimulation. It was clear she genuinely cared about Izzy's wellbeing. I wouldn't hesitate to use Tafana again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable cat sitter.

Tafana was able to house sit for Bear at the last minute for a long weekend whilst I was away, after someone else cancelled. We agreed that she wouldn't walk Bear, but she tended to everything else and Bear was very happy. Happy to book Tafana again

Schedule
I currently work flexibly from home and fit petsitting around my schedule. I enjoy playing with pets and doting on them with cuddles if they like and allow it.
