With a City & Guilds in Dog Walking, a Dog First Aid certificate, and a background working for various professional dog companies, I provide expert, high-standard care. I am a 5-Star Sitter on Rover, committed to maintaining a premium service for my clients. Location: Based in the Sutton and Reigate area, I’m currently offering services locally. I have previously travelled further afield for sits and may expand my coverage again in the future. Dog Walking: I love taking dogs out for walks and making sure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise. I’m happy to offer solo walks when needed, as well as longer or more active outings for dogs who enjoy extra time outdoors. I’m happy to walk your recommended route and make every outing safe, structured, and enjoyable, so your dog comes home happy and settled. Pet Sitting & Home Care: While pet sitting, I offer total peace of mind through a premium level of pet and home care. I take great pride in being a respectful and reliable guest; I maintain a clean, tidy, and well-kept environment so you can return to a home exactly as you left it. Beyond pet care, I provide a high level of property security, remaining vigilant and attentive while staying in your home. I also manage essential household tasks such as watering plants and managing bins, ensuring your property is secure, lived-in, and perfectly maintained in your absence.

When caring for pets in their own homes, my primary focus is sticking to their routine and adhering to the owner's instructions. I understand that dogs thrive on a familiar routine and I aim to minimise any disruption to their usual day. During visits, I ensure they receive fresh food and water, administer any necessary medication, and provide ample opportunities for exercise and play as requested. For dog walking, I follow the owner's preferred routes and ensure a safe and enjoyable outing. I also take care of essential tasks like cleaning up after pets and ensuring their environment remains tidy. I provide regular updates to owners, including photos and messages, so they can feel reassured their pets are in good hands. I am always available to answer any questions or address any concerns and treat the owner's home with the utmost respect.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Richard. He looked after our boy Buttons, our Cocker Spaniel, while staying in our home, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. Richard was absolutely fantastic with Buttons. It was obvious from the start that he genuinely cared about him, and Buttons was happy, settled and clearly very well looked after when we came home. Knowing that our boy could stay in his own home, surrounded by all his familiar things, made going away so much easier for us. It’s a huge thing to trust someone with both your beloved dog and your home, and Richard was reliable, respectful, considerate and incredibly caring throughout. His communication was excellent, and we never had to worry about Buttons while we were away. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Richard and would definitely ask him to look after Buttons again. He’s clearly a natural with dogs, and Buttons was very lucky to have him! Richard treated our fur baby like a king! Richard is kind, considerate and our dog loved him instantly. We received daily updates whilst we were away with photos which was lovely to receive. Highly recommend Richard and we will be using his services again

Richard was amazing. The handover session was very helpful when he met us and our dog. He was immediately at ease competent and kind on meeting the dog . He was keen to learn about our requirements and the dogs All relevant information was exchanged about the number and timings of visits and Richard actually fitted in an extra visit to check the dog was alright in the heatwave We were very happy with Richard’s care ..and so was the dog
Richard took excellent care of our dog, who can be a bit challenging in some situations. He handled him with professionalism and confidence, and we felt completely reassured throughout. We would happily trust him again!
Richard was superb … his communication is excellent… he looked after my two labs for the weekend and managed them with care, kindness and professionalism… it is great to have someone so trustworthy taking care of the boys
