All dogs welcome here!
I’ve grown up with dogs in the family and adopted two senior golden retrievers 5 years ago. Our 15 year old is still with us so I have experience with older dogs and also spend lots of time with younger, energetic and smaller dogs. I have experience with reactive dogs and those which need a little extra love. I’m available for house visits, dog walking and boarding with a child free, fenced garden, smoke free and pet free home (I share my golden with my sister and she spends most of her time there).

Extremely happy, what a lovely person Charlotte is. Our cocker spaniel Spuddie has just spent two days with boarding overnight. He settled well and received great care during his stay, I felt confident leaving him and would do so again. I would highly recommend! Thank you Charlie & Ellie

I was very nervous to leave my nervous/scared rescue dog with anyone, but immediately when I met Charlotte, I knew he would be in good hands. She was patient with him, and allowed him to warm up to her. She sent us daily pupdates which put my mind at ease while I was away!
Charlotte cares for your dog as if it were not yours, but her own. She is fantastic. We left my dog with her for 3 days and he had the best time! He is attention seeking, a little fussy with food and not the best with other dogs. However, none of these were an issue because there was clear understanding and respect for every detail. I think pet sitter is easy to find, a dog lover, a true carer, that is difficult. I highly recommend Charlotte for anyone who wants their dog to not miss them for a second whilst they are gone.

Schedule
I work from home several days a week so I’m home to care for your dog and take them on long or short walks, whatever they prefer. My days are flexible so I can work around your schedule. I’d be happy to care for your dog during the working day, overnight or when you’re on holiday.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden and a large indoor open space (with warm rugs and some underfloor heating) for pups. I’m used to taking dogs out in the rain and happy to dry off mucky pups (I’m especially experienced with mud and water loving labs and retrievers!). I’m usually at home alone but very occasionally my 15 year old golden retriever may be there. My partner will be at home in the evenings and weekends and is also a big dog lover.

The day is up to the dog! If they like an early walk, long walk, sleep all day or lots of play time, I’m in!
