Hi, I’m Melanie. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and other small furry creatures! For the last 14 years, I’ve worked from home and found I’m getting asked frequently to look after friends & relatives pets. Working flexible hours makes it an ideal situation to look after your pet. My family (partner and teenage daughter) just adore pets and love having dogs around especially. My pet-sitting service caters for dogs,rabbits, hamsters, gerbils & guinea pigs. Day or overnight boarding and dog walking. I have a 100ft fenced garden backing onto a meadow and riverside walk. Being in the Surrey Hills, there’s no shortage of open spaces for your dog to enjoy whether on or off the lead. Please get in touch. I would love to look after your pet so that you can enjoy your time away and be confident that your pet is in safe hands. (and having lots of fun too!) ;)

Melanie is absolutely wonderful. She kindly looked after our dog Hattie once again for us. Even though, she was faced with a difficult situation at home with a major water leak. Hattie always loves staying with her and the family. Which as a dog owner, gives us complete peace of mind. Communication is faultless. Will be booking again soon!

Our dog Jules had another excellent stay with Melanie and her family. They really treat her as part of their own family and spoil her with lovely walks and trips out! Melanie always keeps us updated with photos and messages, giving us peace of mind that Jules is having her own holiday whilst we are away!

As always our Lab, Rocco, loved his time with Melanie. He is treated as one of the family and can't wait to get into the garden and play ball. We have no hesitation in recommending Melanie.
Our lurcher Jules has stayed with Melanie and her family a few times now, and we are so grateful to have found them. They truly treat Jules like a member of their own family, which is so comforting and reassuring whilst we are away. Melanie sends frequent photos and updates, which always make us smile. We can’t thank them enough for the love and care they show to Jules!

Working flexible hours makes it an ideal situation to look after your pet. I'm around to let them out whenever they need a wee break!

I have a 100ft secure fenced garden. During the day they usually like to chill in the sunny lounge or come and sit with me.
A typical day
I can offer early morning, lunchtime, evening and weekend walks. Our house backs onto o a meadow and beautiful riverside walk and being in the Surrey Hills, there’s no shortage of open spaces for your dog to enjoy whether on or off the lead.
