Loving, Reliable Dog Sitter
I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes and have always had a huge love for them. I recently lost my two beloved French Bulldogs, one who passed away peacefully at 12 years old and the other due to heart failure. Losing them made me realise just how much dogs mean to me and inspired me to start a career caring for them. I have experience caring for puppies, having raised puppies myself, as well as hand-rearing three puppies from birth. This has given me valuable experience in providing the patience, attention and around-the-clock care that young puppies need. I also have experience administering medication and caring for dogs with additional health and dietary needs. My French Bulldog suffered from heart failure and required regular medication, and she also had numerous allergies which meant she needed to follow a special food diet. Caring for her taught me how important it is to carefully follow medication and dietary routines, monitor a dog’s wellbeing and provide plenty of patience, reassurance and individual attention. I regularly look after my friends’ and family’s dogs while they are on holiday, and I always treat them as part of my own family, giving them plenty of love, attention, cuddles, playtime and care. I live with my husband and our two children, aged 6 and 9, who adore dogs just as much as I do. We live in a house with a secure garden, directly opposite a large playing field, and we’re also just a 5-minute walk from several lovely woodland areas, making it a great place for dogs to enjoy plenty of fresh air and walks. I would love to welcome your dog into our family and give them a safe, loving and happy home while you’re away. Your dog’s wellbeing, happiness and comfort would always be our priority, and I would care for them as though they were one of our own.

I honestly can’t recommend Rebecca enough! She has been absolutely amazing with my 13-year-old Boston Terrier, and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving him in her care while I went away for a week. Rebecca is so caring, reliable and patient with him, and it’s clear how much she genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she looks after. Knowing he was happy, safe and well looked after while I was away gave me such peace of mind. She is also incredibly easy-going and always so happy to help, even at short notice. If I’m unable to get home in time or I’m feeling unwell and need someone to take him out, Rebecca is always willing to step in and help where she can. It’s such a relief knowing I have someone I can rely on. I’m so grateful to have found Rebecca and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring and dependable to look after their dog. She really is fantastic!
I couldn’t recommend Rebecca more if i tried. She looks after my dogs regularly and my dogs love her. She is patient with the younger one who can be a bit of a handful. She keeps me updated on how my dogs are getting on whilst i am away which means i can relax.

Schedule
I currently work part-time and my children are at school during the day, which means your dog will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy some quiet time, while also getting lots of one-to-one attention from me. I’ll make sure they have plenty of interaction, whether that’s playing together at home or heading out for a walk before I collect the children from school. Once we’re all home, we tend to have a relaxed family evening at home, with dinner and then the children’s bedtime routine. After that, my husband and I will have plenty of time to give your dog some extra cuddles and attention. If they need a bedtime walk, one of us will be more than happy to take them out before settling down for the night. We’re very happy to adapt to each dog’s individual routine and needs, so they can feel as comfortable and settled as possible while staying with us.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a spacious house with a secure garden, giving dogs plenty of room to feel comfortable and at home. We’re more than happy to crate a dog if that’s what they’re used to, or alternatively, they’re welcome to roam around the house if they prefer. We also have the flexibility to close off certain areas of the house if a dog needs some quiet time or a little space away from our children. We’re ideally located opposite some lovely playing fields and just a five-minute walk from a variety of woodland areas, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks, exploring and fresh air right on our doorstep.
