I care for your furry loved ones as if they are my own, regardless of their age or size. I have dog-sat for puppies and senior dogs, from calm to very lively. I have also cared for dogs recovering from surgery. I provide attentive, personalised care tailored to each dog’s needs and temperament. I needed to find a dog sitter at short notice and came across Melissa and so thankful we did. Melissa looked after our 2 cockapoos for a couple of nights. We were worried as one of our dogs is a rescue and quite nervous but Melissa and her husband were fantastic. We received regular updates with pictures to set our minds at rest. By the end of their stay the dogs looked so comfortable and relaxed. I can highly recommend Melissa.
Melissa was really great looking after our little Teds. From the first contact, to the meet and greet before it’s very clear she knows dogs very well and just has a calming personality. There were loads of updates during the stay and I’d highly recommend anyone looking for a doggy sitter in the area. Teddy is already booked in for his next stay!
Mel and Troy were fantastic with our 2 cocker spaniels. We received regular messages and photos. The dogs were extremely happy and content and well exercised. Highly recommend Mel.
Mel is just lovely. She was happy to meet us and little Soda pup before our puppy sitting dates. This made my husband I feel super comfortable about leaving our 3 month old pup at home for the first time. During puppy sitting Mel sent us photos and updates the whole evening and it looked like Soda had the best play date. We’d love to book with Mel again x
Mel and her husband are outstanding pet sitters. They took such wonderful care of Ash, he had the best time, lots of updates and photos. Spoilt with cuddles and nice walks. Ash has gained two new best friends. Lovely to have found a home from home environment for him, feel very relaxed knowing he is in the care of these two dedicated dog lovers. Thank you so much 🤩
Mel and her husband looked after Milo, our cocker spaniel for 11 days while we were on holiday. He had the time of his life! Lots of lovely daily walks, cooling off with paddling in a dog friendly river and a first time trip on a bus which he enjoyed! He was cared for and loved by Mel and her husband with lots of lovely photos daily for us to see him enjoying his fun days, and lots of cuddles! Mel and her husband were the best dog sitters and we are very happy to recommend their services and wouldn’t hesitate to give them 5 stars.

Schedule
I don’t just love dogs; I see them as companions. Balancing that love with the demands of being a full-time blogger means I naturally incorporate pet care into both my daily and weekly routines. I have a pacemaker, and dog walking is a great way to exercise and stay healthy, engaging in something I enjoy. Occasionally, when my husband (Troy) is working from home, he joins us on walks & play time. When I am home, I have plenty of time to walk your dogs and play with them. I am available for weekend boarding, including Drop-In Visits, Doggy Day Care, and Dog Walking. I usually only need a couple of days’ notice when I am home.

Safety, trust & environment
My husband (Troy) & I own our Maisonette, and we have a private fenced yard. It's just the two of us; we don’t have any children or pets in the home. So, your fur baby will have all our attention and safety.
A typical day
We would go for walks around the parks in our local area or yours, and play fetch where possible to bond and stay active. I generally ensure the dog is both mentally and physically stimulated while we have a great time together.
