Safety, trust & environment

I have a large garden that's fenced and live right next to woodland so if your pet is staying with me there is easy access for walks and all day outside to play. I also regularly drive to new areas in the Surrey hills to try new hiking routes with woods, rivers and fields for them to explore. Our home includes myself and my parents, both of whom grew up with dogs and love them as much as I do.

Information Phoebe L. would like to know about your pet

What I'd need from you: 1) I would encourage a meet and greet so you can see the house if boarding and meet me to make sure you're comfortable. If you are in a busy period and prefer to meet me just before their first walk then I recommend for any nervous pups that you hang out for a few minutes just so they can acclimatise and get comfy with their new environment. 2) Each dogs' personality is completely unique, our dog was nervous of men with beards so any weird and wonderful information on what they like or don't like to help me manage any behaviours would be great to know in advance. 3) Any dogs who aren't recall trained would need to be walked at all times on a long lead, please make sure you bring all bedding, food, favourite toys and walking tools beforehand. 4) Clear and verified pick up and drop off times, any changes are not a problem if an unexpected issue arises - just call or text. 5) Update me on their ideal routine with feeding, walks and playtime so I can adapt as required. 6) Provide emergency contact information and vet information just in case.

A typical day

As described above for the schedule. I am at home all day as are my parents so they'll get lots of attention! Two walks on average with sometimes a shorter one in the evening.

Pet care experience

I’ve helped train and raise my family lab for 14 years, so I know how important it is for you to find a trusted walker/sitter to keep them healthy and happy while you're away. I’ve also helped care for my friends' dogs - feeding, medicating and poop scooping as required between constant ball throwing and cuddles. I really miss my own dog having lost her recently and I would love to have that joy back in my life. I have a flexible schedule as I'm currently in between jobs and so I'll be able to fit around you and give them plenty of love. My home includes a large garden and I live right next to woodland. I love exploring new hiking routes so the longer the walk the better!

Archie had a fantastic time with Phoebe and her family. He obviously felt totally relaxed in their home and I would not hesitate in rebooking and highly recommend Phoebe. 💯

Phoebe and her family are absolute angels! They took care of my rescue dog, Dió, for 10 days while we were away on holiday, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. Because Dió is a rescue, I am always a bit anxious about leaving her, but Phoebe completely put my mind at ease. She and her family are incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming. They showered Dió with so much love and affection that I think she actually missed them when she came home! She had the best time running around and playing in their wonderful garden. It is such a relief to find someone you can trust 100% with your fur baby. Phoebe and her family treated Dió like a member of their own family. I highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving, responsible, and top-notch pet sitter. Thank you all so much for taking such amazing care of our girl!

Phoebe has a natural gift with dogs, having great fun with them whilst also being sensitive to their mood and needs. She is very responsible and the pleasure she gets from being with dogs is plain to see. Phoebe is very trustworthy and honest and would ensure she has all the necessary information about your dog in order to give him/her just the right care.
