Pet care experience

121 dog care in our Pyrford home

I've been around dogs and cats all my life and absolutely love having them in our home. I grew up with Boxer dogs, so I'm very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages and personalities. I offer a home-from-home experience and, importantly, only take bookings from one household at a time. This means your dog gets lots of individual attention and isn't one of a large group of dogs, which can be particularly reassuring for puppies, nervous dogs or pets who simply prefer a quieter environment. My partner and I live in a large detached house in Pyrford with a secure fenced garden and no pets or children of our own. I'm often working from home, so dogs get plenty of company throughout the day, as well as garden time, play, cuddles and walks along the lovely countryside routes nearby. I know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is happy and settled while you're away, so I'll follow their usual routine as closely as possible and send regular photo and message updates. I offer doggy day care, overnight boarding and walks, and I'm always happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand so you and your dog can get to know us.

Doggy Day Care • Aug 04, 2026

Stars had an amazing time! It was reassuring knowing he was being well looked after, and the updates were lovely. We came home to a very happy (and tired) puppy. Thank you for taking such great care of Stars.

Charlotte was absolutely amazing with Harry and I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. She was so good with him and sent me regular updates of them out and about and my little doggy looked so happy and content. Her apartment is perfectly set up for dog care and I could tell that Harry felt right at home from the moment he bounced through the door and checked out all of the room rooms and sniffed the cupboards! Charlotte is really lovely and a great communicator and I knew he was in safe hands the entire time I was away. I believe that any dog would be happy in her care. I will 100% be using her again - thanks so much xx

Charlotte always takes wonderful care of Tilly for the day when I leave her to spend a day at the office. She’s also a go-to person when Tilly needs a walk. She’s reliable and trustworthy, and Tilly always comes home happy after spending time with her!

Charlotte is reliable and responsible and is mad about dogs - all dogs. Her family had a boxer called Roxy, so she's used to bouncy, large dogs. She has a fantastic job in PR, but can work long hours, so it wouldn't be fair to own a dog. The next best thing is to look after someone else's at weekends and on days she works from home.

Charlotte has taken care of Griffin and Archie - two yellow labs - on multiple occasions. We always trust her with the boys. She takes them on long walks through the parks and plays ball with them, house sits with them so they don’t get anxious, feeds them their food and snacks and loves on them. We have repeatedly used Charlotte for her services due to the level of trust required with taking care of the boys: she comes highly recommended!

Schedule

I work from home around two days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility for doggy day care and walks, and I'm also available for overnight and weekend boarding depending on dates. When your dog is staying with us, I'll make sure their usual routine is followed as closely as possible and that they get plenty of company, walks, play and downtime.

Safety, trust & environment

Me and my boyfriend live in a large detached four bedroom house in the village of Pyrford, near Woking. We have a large fenced garden and are close to lots of lovely rural walking routes. We have no pets of our own yet, but love looking after others!

A typical day

Every dog is different, so I'll tailor the day around their usual routine. They'll have plenty of company and attention at home, access to our secure garden for play and toilet breaks, and lovely countryside walks nearby. As we only look after dogs from one household at a time, we can adapt walks, playtime and downtime to suit your dog's personality and energy levels.

I'd love to know a little about your dog's usual routine, including feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements and how long they're comfortable being left alone. Please also let me know about any medical or dietary requirements, behavioural quirks, things they find stressful, and anything else that will help us make them feel completely at home.
