I've looked after all sorts of dogs and cats, large, small and with different personalities. It would be good to know what their favourite toys or activities are. It's always good for me to get a sense of how long your dog needs to walk for, and how they react to other dogs.
A typical day
Playtime, cuddles and walks are mainstays of my time with dogs, and I love to get out for exercise myself. I am more than happy to work around your dog's daily routine if I am doing a stay over. I allow cats I am looking after to approach me and respect their boundaries: I am happy to play with them or not as their personalities and preferences dictate. I am able to be flexible with breaks around work and therefore work around your pet's needs.

Pet care experience
I have had pet cats, dogs and more since I was a small child growing up in rural west Wales, and I've been cat and dogsitting for years in both a paid and unpaid capacity. I have a wonderful connection with both cats and dogs and am intuitive as to their wants and needs. As a remote, freelance worker I am able to be flexible and dedicate the time and energy to your pet when they need it.

Joanne has cared for our cats five or six times so far and is the first person we turn to whenever we're going on holiday and they need looking after. She's the perfect choice for looking after pets: her absolute joy and love for animals shines through whenever she's with them, and we can have complete confidence that she's not just looking after them, but lavishing all the attention and care that she can. A cat or dog or other pet that Joanne is tending to will be a happy one indeed! I'd unhesitatingly recommend her.
Jo has looked after our dog several times, and she is absolutely amazing - very responsible, attentive and caring, ensuring our wee beast is comfortable, happy and well entertained. She has an instinctive understanding of what pets need, and how to make them feel safe and secure when their usual humans aren't around. Our dog adores her, and is always very excited to see her!
