Currently I own a very active Cockerspaniel called Ziggy who requires morning and afternoon walks. I am recently retired so I have alot more time these days. I am now taking new dogs on an ad hoc basis and specialise in one to one care. I leave the weekend free for family but if weekend care is needed then tjat is something that is possible.

I dont take pets in at home but prefer to house sit. I have applied for an enhanced DBS check as recently I am also applying to be a secondary carer for other carers who require holiday cover. At a dog owners house I would feed and walk the dog as per the owners wishes and check on them every four hours maximum.

A typical day
Morning walks with lots of different terrain for the dog to enjoy. I usually play retrieval with balls and Frisbee and reward with treats. Similar for after walks. I have a portable muddy dog washer for those wet and muddy days and towel.to dry.

David , he has diligently cared for my dogs on multiple occasions over a two year period whilst I am at work and also cared for them in my home when I went on holiday. He often sends me photos of my pets out on walks with him and returns them back to my house being careful to ensure they are clean and dry before they come in, he also gives medication to my older dog and confirms by text that they are returned home, have food and water sufficient until he does another drop in or I return home. My dogs are extremely fond of him and I have no hesitation in trusting him with the care of my pets and my home which has been for extended periods of time.
David Henderson is an honest and trustworthy person, completely reliable and loving. His own pet is well looked after and cared for, always considered when David is making plans. He has also shown great care and affection yo my own pet, and I would be completely comfortable letting him look after my beagle. He is thoughtful and empathetic towards animals, and would be a fantastic addition to your service.
