I am a life long dog owner with nearly 15 years experience working with animals. I have worked as a Veterinary Nurse assistant within an animal hospital. Cared for a team of over 20 working huskies, including daily hikes with multiple sled dogs, worked in a pet shop and completed my animal care NVQ grade 3. As well as caring for my own dogs with complex needs. Since offering my services on Rover, I have developed some wonderful relationships with dogs of all kinds of personalities and needs, from high energy working dogs, nervous pups and seniors with mobility challenges. I have also started basic training for some dogs who needed a little guidance. I am proud to say I have always been asked back by owners a second time and some dogs are now frequent friends! I am passionate about all animals and have also spent time rescuing wildlife, riding horses and even own my own Harris’ Hawk!

I like to make sure I fit in to your pets routine and keep things as calm and recognisable as possible for them while you are away. I’ve had dogs that like a 6am walk and dogs that are very adamant about their 1pm treat. What ever is important to your dog is important to me. I also take pride in keeping your home well looked after during my stay. I am clean, tidy and never forget to put the bins out!

Megan was wonderful with Marvin (3 yo very large German Shepard). He can be timid with new people, but she took the time to understand his personality and earn his trust. She paid close attention to his exercise and training needs and knew how to approach him in a way that made him feel comfortable. She even shared training methods we can use when passing other dogs, which is especially helpful because Marvin gets excited and anxious around them. It gave us real peace of mind knowing he was in such capable, caring hands while she stayed at our home. Megan is an absolute natural, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found her. We’ll book her EVERY chance we get and highly recommend her!
Megan was amazing and we know she gave our doggies so much love. Megan took them them on lovely walks and sent us pictures to keep us updated
Both the boys immediately took to Megan and appear to be better behaved with her than with me 🙃

Schedule
I have a flexible part time job in which I work from home (or anywhere) which means I can offer care and company all day long! I am a big outdoors person so, dependant on your dogs needs, a fun outdoor adventure is always top priority for the day!
