I’ve always loved animals and have always jumped at the opportunity to look after the furry friends of family, friends and neighbours while they’re away on holiday or at work. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. I have a 3-year-old cat of my own, Mochi, who I’ve cared for since he was just 8 weeks old. I’ve also looked after many dogs over the years, often for extended periods, so I’m comfortable with the day-to-day responsibilities that come with caring for them. This includes feeding, playing, giving them plenty of attention, taking them on walks and bathing them when needed. I currently live with my family in a home with a secure, fenced garden, giving dogs plenty of safe outdoor space to explore and relax. I’m also more than happy to take your dog on longer walks through nearby parks and trails, depending on their energy levels and what they enjoy! 🐶 I understand that every dog is different, so I’m always happy to follow your usual routines and take the time to understand your dog’s personality, preferences and needs. If your pet is more comfortable in their own home, I’m also very happy to provide care at your house instead. I also have a month of volunteering experience at a cat shelter, where I was responsible for feeding the cats, changing their water, cleaning litter boxes and helping to maintain a clean and comfortable environment. Although some of these tasks may seem small, I loved being able to contribute to the animals’ wellbeing and saw first-hand how much consistent, thoughtful care can make a difference. My biggest takeaway from my time at the shelter was that every animal has their own needs, personality and way of communicating, and their wellbeing should always come first. I’ll bring that same level of patience, care and responsibility to every dog I look after. Whether your dog is full of energy and loves a long walk, or prefers a relaxed day with plenty of cuddles, I’d love the opportunity to get to know them and make sure they feel happy, safe and at home while you’re away.

The best cat sitter I know! Our cat had a great time with Ruuna. 🐈⬛🙂 We didn't worry about her during our holiday because Ruuna is kind,responsible and communicated well, gave us lots of photos and told us how our sweet cat was feeling. This is my first time using this app. I was very surprised at how professional and kind Ruuna is. She made our holiday peaceful because we were sure that our cat was in good hands and being taken care of.
I truly cannot express the depth of my gratitude to Runna. Yesterday, our family attended a wedding, which meant we needed a dog sitter — something we usually entrust to family members due to our dogs’ unique needs. But with everyone attending the celebration, that simply wasn’t possible. This was my very first time using this service, and I’ll admit, I felt apprehensive. We have six wonderful dogs, all rescued from puppy farm environments, each with their own special requirements. Some are shy and easily frightened, preferring to hide away from strangers, while others are on different medications for various health needs. Caring for them requires patience, gentleness, and understanding — qualities not everyone possesses. From the moment Runna stepped in, all my worries melted away. She handled everything with such warmth and professionalism. Throughout the day, she sent thoughtful updates and heartwarming photos, showing my dogs not just tolerating her presence, but happily sitting with and around her. Seeing them so relaxed and content in her company was a huge relief. It was no small task — a full 12 hours of care for six dogs with vastly different personalities and needs — yet Runna approached it with dedication and genuine love. She didn’t just “manage” them; she truly connected with them. That’s something rare and priceless. Runna, you went above and beyond, and I am so thankful to have found you. Looking after six dogs is a challenge even for seasoned owners, but you absolutely excelled. I cannot recommend you highly enough. You are a treasure, and our family is deeply appreciative of your kindness, skill, and care
Ruuna was brilliant! Asked questions before she arrived and got to know Eddie's needs before hand. Gave us updates throughout the day and kept us informed on how he was getting on. I really felt Eddie was in safe and sensible hands!
Runaway was wonderful. I would definitely love for my pups to stay here again. Thank you!
