My name is TJ and I'm a civil servant based in the Thamesmead/Abbey Wood area. I work from home, which means I have plenty of flexibility when it comes to looking after pets! I am a cat mumma of two myself - Salem and Sabrina - who are both in their elderly years now; and I've had a couple of dogs over the years. I know how dear our furbabies are and how important it is to ensure your pets remain comfortable in their own environment while their favourite humans are away! I thought it would be a nice thing to offer my spare time to look after other people's pets and share the love! I have been pet sitting professionally since lockdown, mainly cat sitting/pop ins but I do have regular customers for dog sitting in home throughout the year and I've decided to add dog walking in, to help improve my fitness and get me outside a bit more! I'm a very calm person and this translates well when dogs are going through training in particular, as this means I can often help with the training and ensure consistency. I have lots of experience giving medication to cats and dogs and happy to do a pre-visit to go through all your pets needs before booking - just get in touch via the contact button.

Safety, trust & environment
I only provide dog and cat sitting in the owner's home - this is due to having two elderly cats myself. Happy to arrange a pre-meet to go through your needs before booking. Changing cat litter, grooming, dietary care and poop bags come as part of the service! Please do ensure adequate food supplies, cleaning supplies and cat litter/bin bags are available for the full duration. I supply my own poop bags for dogs! I am also happy to pick up essentials such as bread and milk etc so that you have something in when you return from your trip - just let me know what you would like. I usually do a quick clean of the common areas on my last visit/end of stay - hoover/mop, clean down surfaces; however if you would not like me to do this, please let me know.

This was the first time I went away on holiday and was apprehensive about getting a cat nanny to begin with as I usually leave him with family. However, I found Teri-Jayne on cat in a flat and loved her profile so I ended up enquiring about booking her to look after my precious boy. She came to meet my baby and myself before the holiday and instantly we clicked and it was such a genuine connection. During my holiday, I also got daily updates from her with pictures and videos which assured me that he was in good hands. She is absolutely exceptional at her job and my baby ended up loving her straight away. I would highly recommend booking Teri-Jayne as she is trustworthy and goes above and beyond for your pet. Teri Jane looked after my 2 cats and went above and beyond with them and they loved her, she also fed all my other animals for me after I gave her really short notice she fitted me into her schedule so I will definitely have her again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
Teri-Jayne is an amazing care giver to all animals. She often looks after my 2 dogs who love seeing her. She is caring, kind and considerate and is passionate about looking after animals. Schedule
I work remotely so have lots of flexibility and also drive, so I can get between jobs very easily. While I prefer set hours for dog walking, I'm always happy to adjust based on your needs, so just drop me a message! For dog walking and kitty drop ins, I offer appointments for early mornings (between 6am-8am), lunchtime (between 12-2pm) and evenings (from 5pm-10pm)
