Safety, trust & environment

Dogs are allowed in the furniture in my home and get lots of fuss and attention. I usually walk them mornings and evenings - it depends on what is appropriate. If a dog is energetic, we simply spend all day outside, walking through the parks and green spaces.

Information Kirsten C. would like to know about your pet

Are the any special dietary restrictions to look out for. Is there anything the dog or cat is scared of, eg loud noises like fireworks? Any allergies? Is the dog dog-friendly?

A typical day

A walkies to and through Oxleas woods and Eaglesfield park, back home via Shrewsbury park, along the golf course and down shooters hill. For a shorter more leisurely walk, a mooch around Danson park is always lovely. With cars it depends on their routine. Some days are more playful and I'm happy to play with them as much as they are comfortable, or just sit with them if they are less energetic.

Pet care experience

I've taken care of dogs for many years, when I was still at school I took care of our family dogs, and more recently of my own dog, a female Staffie. I've always enjoyed doggie company and taking care of them. I also used to walk a beautiful Schnauzer called Dusty for the Cinnamon Trust. I'm used to walking dog-reactive dogs.

Kirsten was absolutely perfect for our dog Bertie she went above and beyond in caring for our elderly dog in what turned out to be a heatwave weekend. Plenty of photos and messages meant that we were able to feel happy about leaving him to attend our sons wedding

Kirsten did an excellent job looking after our two cats while we were away for the weekend. Kirsten stayed over night in our home for two nights. Kirsten was happy to visit us in advance of the stay so that she could meet the cats and we could show her where everything was. Kirsten was great at communicating with us during the visit and regularly sent us updates and pictures which showed us how happy they both were and how well they were being looked after. When we came home the cats were really happy and the house was perfect. We would definitely book Kirsten again.

Kirsten was great with Archie who can be anxious. She definitely went the extra mile to ensure he was happy, safe, stimulated. Archie is very tired today so he clearly got enough exercise too!!! I hope Kirsten enjoyed her stay at our home because we'd love to have her back in the future!

Kirsten is amazing with Sully! She spends time training, playing and really devotes all her attention to him. Thank you Kirsten for allowing us to relax knowing Sully is being taken care of 🥰
