“Jackie is amazing! She consistently lets our dog out while we are at work and gives her lots of attentions. Our dog LOVES her! We are thankful for Jackie and all she does for us!”

“We hired Emily to visit our two cats while we were out of town for the week. She was excellent at communicating with us daily and sharing photos and updates on how they were doing! She spoiled them with lots of playtime, and I think they're happily anticipating her to return once again when we go out of town. She was excellent and I would highly recommend her!”

“Isabela was a blessing with my kitty at very short notice when I had a last minute trip. She checked in and sent pics of my cat and made me feel less guilty about leaving my sweet girl. I’d definitely book her again”

“very communicative! i love that jennifer was able to tolerate my pebble's neediness and even check on moose who happened to be hiding under blankets! would definitely book with her again!”

About: Hello! I am an active and reliable animal lover with years of experience pet-sitting. I value open communication and strive to offer my clients peace of mind while their fur babies are in my care. I specialize in high-energy dogs that need a good long walk/run to be happy/healthy (and sane 😅). But I promise I'm also great with mellow couch potatoes. And I excel at belly rubs! I am a medical student trying to save up to pay for my final semester of medical school, studying for board exams, and hopefully getting to hang out with some awesome pets while doing so. My schedule is wide open and flexible for house-sitting, drop-ins, and walks/runs. I am flexible, accommodating, and can do last-minute requests! I understand that fur-babies are part of the family, and I treat them with the love, respect, and dignity they deserve. I pride myself in treating each pet as in individual and respecting any schedules and guidelines offered by the family. This is one of the reasons why meet 'n greets are so important, and I am more than happy to meet beforehand when the circumstances allow.
“Ciaran is excellent and very conscious. She is also flexible and our kitties love her. I highly recommend Ciaran for your sitting needs and will definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve had my dog for 10 years now. I was with her when she had her puppies and helped take care of them as well. I have also fostered 3 dogs which has been such a rewarding experience. I am working part time right now so have half of my days open. On weekends I’m more busy but weekdays I’m always finding things to do when I’m off work. I don’s have a fenced in yard at my home but I know a few dog parks in my area for your pet to run around and have fun in. As well as many paths to take them for walks.
“Phoenix is always reliable, communicative, friendly, and obvious cares about the animals she's charged with caring for. We've used her cat visit/care services many times and will continue to do so.”

About: My first dog is Dakota, but he has taught me a ton since I've had him. I have been around dogs and cats, and other animals since I was a young child. Between my grandparents, and friends and family's animals, I have always been around pets. My family always owned cats, and when I moved out I decided that I wanted a dog. I currently work from home most of days of the week (Tues-Fri), and figured that someone who is going to work might not want to leave their dog home alone all day. I figured that since I am home, I could provide dog owners with another local option for doggy daycare. I have a fenced in yard and I have my own dog who is very friendly. I am constantly getting up to check on Dakota during the workday to make sure that all of his needs are being met.
About: I am an animal lover with years of experience taking care of my own dogs and my friends’ many pets. I love to take long walks or sit and hang with animals if that’s what your pets need. I have had dogs in the house since I was a baby, most of which have been large high-energy dogs, so I can handle the big loud pups. My most recent pet was a high-needs senior dog, so I understand the anxiety that comes along with leaving your pet in the care of someone else. I am happy to take care of any special needs and send updates/pictures to ease your mind. I have a soft spot for seniors. In the summer I work from home on weekdays. I have some flexibility when it comes to being able to take longer breaks as long as I can get all my work time in. I have lots of flexibility during weeknights and weekends! My home: I have a great home for dogs, with lots of open space and a fenced back yard. Since I work from home, I would be able to keep an eye on your pets all day long. I have a partner who is home most weeknights and weekdays as well. We recently lost our senior dog and we would love to fill our house with wags and barks again. Clients home: I have lots of experience pet sitting at friends’ homes, so I can adapt to whatever you need at your home. I am very flexible so if you’re curious about how often I can come over or anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.
About: I've owned dogs a majority of my life, both large and small breed. I've house trained and crate trained my own dogs so I have some experience with that, as well. I have 2 cats in the home but they tend to stay away from any new dogs, often hiding in their own room that the dogs are not allowed in. I work from home, which allows lots of one on one time with your pet. I'm able to flex my work schedule based on whatever is needed. I have a fenced in yard, which my own pup loves to run in. Lots of toys and playtime with plenty of comfy surfaces to nap on after.
“Emily was so accommodating for our last minute booking of a drop-in visit on a holiday! I know the pups enjoyed her visit and their play time just from looking at their happy faces in the pictures! I would recommend her for anyone looking for a friendly sitter for their pets 😁”

About: As a teenager, I took care of our family’s puppy, an Australian Shepherd. From walks, to grooming, to potty-training, to teaching tricks, I pretty much have done it all! I have since then taken care of other dogs in my family. As a decently athletic person, I can take your dog on long walks or runs If need be! My house also feature a nice fenced in yard, perfect for your pet’s need during A stay-over! I am a student completing a doctoral program at NU and a classical musician. With the current pandemic, much of my professional activities have been cancelled for the summer and I found myself with a very flexible schedule. Dogs have always brought me joy and I would be more than happy to be looking after your pet for you!
“Sam was available on short notice for the Easter weekend, which we greatly appreciated. His meet and greet with very well and he took care of our cat with everything we asked for. He had great communication during the stay as well. We will be reaching out to Sam again for more services in the future!”

Hazel Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
First time user of Rover. I went out of the country for two weeks and my normal dog sitter fell thru last minute. I went and used Rover after many people recommending. I messaged a few sitters and sally was the first to respond. I cant begin to express how happy I was with her services and providing a great experience for my dog and cat. She was very transparent, provided multiple updates and was very timely with all her visits during the two weeks I was gone. I booked her for 3x a day for two weeks and showed up with them all on time. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again for sure!
