“Jillian did a wonderful job checking in on our cats and administering medication to our Meeko while we were away for the holiday weekend. She provided detailed report cards and took the most adorable pictures! Jillian was always very responsive and communicative throughout the weekend and we felt happy and at ease knowing our babies were well taken care of. Will definitely rebook her!”

“Hannah was incredibly attentive and responsible while taking care of Delta during our time away. She kept the litter box and food bowls clean, and we really appreciated the thoughtful care she provided. We’d be more than happy to book with Hannah again in the future!”

“Jackie is always phenomenal with our pup Nigel! She goes above and beyond every time and Nigel is always excited to see her. Jackie is always the sitter we call when we need someone and I’m so glad we found her!! She’s communicative, responsible, kind, and all around amazing :) don’t hesitate to book with her!”

About: I have grown up loving and caring for dogs of my own as well as others. I have always been the person people always call when they have some kind of animal emergency. I absolutely love animals and know a lot about taking care of them and many different types. They will get lots of attention and quality care from me. I will spoil your baby as much as you will let me! I can administer any medication necessary. My dog takes pain meds twice a day so we are already on a medication routine. I have a flexible schedule so I can meet most needs. I keep in contact with you asap if there are any changes that are needed I live in a charming small house in the corner of Ferndale and a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I have a fully fenced in backyard that is about 97% privacy fence. There’s one little corner where my dog can talk to the dog in back through a chain-link fence. Lots of shade and grass
“Heather was super responsive and set me at ease with my first time utilizing Rover. She was very accommodating and I will absolutely utilize her again for drop ins when I am away in the future. Thank you again Heather. You were the highlight of Fig’s weekend as well!”

“Jason was really sweet with my dog. She isn't the easiest dog and he was able to make her comfortable. He also took her on walks and showed up when he said he would. I appreciated the photo updates as well. Will definitely rebook with him!”

“Hadley was amazing! She was so warm, caring, and attentive with our cat. We loved her updates and felt completely at ease knowing our cat was in such good hands. We’d happily have her cat-sit for us again!”

“Madeleine was very nice, respectful, and helpful while taking care of my cats. There were a couple of minor hiccups—she arrived late on the first day and spent quite a bit of time on her phone rather than actively playing with the cats—but overall, she provided good care, and everything went well.”

“Nicole stopped by to feed and walk my dog and did a perfect job. She brought her sweet dog along and they get along so beautifully. I look forward to her staying with my dog and cat while I’m away and bringing her sweet dog to keep them company.”
“Krystal is coming by for regular check-ins on my two large dogs, three days a week. She is communicative, patient, and kind with my pups, and knowing she will be there to give them affection, treats, and a potty break each day definitely relieves my stress! I highly recommend her.”

“Gillian did a fantastic job watching my cats! She followed all instructions perfectly, kept everything very tidy, and even sent a few great pictures of the cats snuggling up to her. 10/10 will definitely book again!”

About: I’m an animal lover through and through! Tragically, my landlord doesn’t allow pets, so I get my fill of snuggles and belly rubs through pet sitting and volunteering at animal shelters. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and reliable to care for your pet, and it’s a responsibility I take seriously. I especially enjoy working with anxious pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve yet to meet a cat or dog I couldn’t eventually win over. High-energy zoomers, cuddle bugs, divas- I love them all! I have open availability through the end of August before I begin graduate school. Send me a message and let’s chat about how I can give your pet the care and attention they deserve! I have open availability through the end of August, after which I start grad school. After that I’ll be available most Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, and weekends ☺️ I treat clients’ homes with the utmost respect and follow all house rules. It’s a privilege to care for your furry babies and a responsibility that I take very seriously.
“Ally has been great with Goose, very attentive and prompt communication to any needs or concerns and accommodating with meet and greet. Appreciate the drop ins and midday exercise he has really enjoyed it!”

“Sydney was wonderful to have watch my cat! She was super prompt with visiting on the scheduled times, and she sent such good updates and cute photos. I could tell she also gave my cat so much love while I was gone. Sydney was also sweet enough to water my outdoor flowers everyday, which I was so appreciative of. I will definitely request Sydney to cat sit again in the future.”

About: I’ve been on Wag for a while and loved it so I wanted to expand my business to Rover! I’m looking forward to becoming a regular caretaker for your furry friend. I’ve done drop-ins for friends, families and clients on vacations. I make sure they get some loving and pets during each drop-in. I also have been volunteering at cat and animal shelters since high school. I love dogs and I like to run with dogs as well. I’m experienced with dogs that pull. A little about me. I’m a Master’s student studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I currently work with children with Autism. Other than that, I love being active and enjoying nature. I am patient and understanding of any specific request you would want! I adore animals so I assure the best quality of care possible! I currently work part-time so I’m always looking for walks on my off-time. I’m available for sittings/boardings everyday unless I’m on vacation! I have a clean studio. I have a balcony, large windows and a big windowsill for your cat to sunbathe in. I have space for all of your cats’ needs!
About: I have had a dog for the good majority of my life. I love all dogs big or small. I am very well versed with dogs of all types of personalities. I work from home and have the flexibility to come any time throughout the day to hang out or take your dog for a walk. Recently moved out of the city so have much more accessibility. If you’re nearby I can most likely make an emergency work as long as I have a 20-30 minute heads up. I have a small dog that doesn’t get along with other dogs so at home care would be tough long term but if it’s needed for just a few hours I can make it work. Have a yard I can play with them in and lots of space to keep them separate.
About: Hi, I’m Rebecca and I would love to watch your dog. I have a fenced in yard that’s perfect for little dogs! We had a small dog for over 18 years. I understand how your dog is truly another member of your family and would care for him like a member of my own. Being a RETIRED teacher, my availability is ideal - I’m almost always home...especially for summer vacations! We are up early and I am home most of the day. On the weekends you’ll also usually find me spending time with my family and sometimes at the ballpark . But your pet will have company often. My home is located in Huntington Woods which is a wonderful city to walk your dog around. I look forward to meeting your pup and offering excellent care while you are away for work or play. I am up early for quick walks and potty breaks. My husband leaves much later or sometimes works from home, so another morning potty break is a definite. I’m usually home because I’m now retired! We are a home body family by nature, so we give plenty of attention to our guest dogs. We had a very small dog ourselves (Harley passed 3/13/23), so our yard is very carefully fenced to make sure there are no escape routes😂 Our children are older as well, so toys and snacks are not all over the floor anymore. We keep a tidy, yet pet friendly home and pets are always welcome on our couches or chairs!

Jillian did an great job watching our dog Pancake, recommend her if you ever need someone to check in on your pet! She was very responsive in messages, and kept us updated on how Pancake was doing ☺️, especially during a bad thunderstorm (and Pancake is afraid of storms) so extra appreciation for her thoughtfulness on keeping our baby as calm as possible during that while we were away!

Katie was amazing with my pup! She came over to meet her before and made sure she was comfortable/set up for the best situation. She was so sweet and kind and was very flexible when I had to add an additional time for check-in. I will definitely be using her again and really appreciated how she was available last minute. Highly recommend for others!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
