Throughout my dog’s 6-night stay, I received updates and photos on days 1, 3, and 5, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog can be pretty anxious, especially in new environments, but Cody handled him with patience and care. When I picked him up, I could clearly tell he had grown comfortable and even formed a bond with Cody, which says a lot. He was nervous at drop-off, but it was reassuring to see how much more relaxed and at ease he was by the end of his stay. Cody created a safe, welcoming environment and was easy to communicate with throughout the process. I really appreciated the attention given to my dog’s needs and overall well-being. About: I have always had an animal in the house and was given the responsibility of taking care of the family pets at a very young age. I have one cat at home and he is the light of my life, so naturally he is very spoiled. I understand being anxious when you're away from your pet. “We are so excited we have found such a wonderful caregiver for our two dogs, One is an energetic mini Aussie and I have never seen her respond so well to anyone. She was cuddling with Whitney within a couple of hours and we got lots of photos of the pups playing and snuggling throughout the day. The fenced in yard and dog park were amazing and our dogs got to play outside in a safe, clean environment. About: I have never been able to commit to having a dog child because of my work and travel. I get my fix by caring for friends babies! I fostered 2 dogs until they were healthy enough to be adopted. Large dog breed are my favorites, if I owned a dog it would be a Carrin Terrier or a Bully. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I can give snuggles, walk or play week days or weekends. Available for 1 day or a week. I have a large fenced in yard and don’t mind pets on my furniture. I do have a cat that ignores dogs and she would be in the home.

About: Hi! I'm David. I grew up in Michigan surrounded by dogs and farm animals. Labrador Retrievers were the family favorite, however, I rescued a Basset Hound Mix during the pandemic. About: We have had a family dog most of my life. I have walked and fed and played and cared for them more times that i can count. I am gentle and loving and most dogs love me. I am currently not working so this will be my main job. If i do work its only part time so I will always be able to fit the pet care in my schedule. I do have a standing Monday appointment from 2-3 I can do some weekends as well. I walk and feed and play with them. I currently don't have a pet now and miss that. I'm up early and go to bed late.

About: Hi, my name is Carla. I am a 29-year-old Occupational Therapy grad student, marketing professional, and animal lover! I’m located in Royal Oak centrally close to a lot of neighborhoods. I am looking to pick up work to get some time outside more and make some extra money for school. I have always had a pet in the house! Growing up I had a cat and a dog that I was responsible for. I’ve lived with dogs recently, and I currently have my own cat. Unfortunately, I am not able to offer boarding or care at my current apartment, but I am happy to do overnight stays if needed in the client’s home. I have a pretty flexible schedule because I work full-time online so if I needed to work from a clients house or take my lunch break to do a dog walk all of these options are very easy for me to navigate. I would like to do a few dog walks or pet check ins a week, including weekdays or weekends and potentially an overnight once or twice a month . I will not be having pets at my home, but I am very mindful of pet safety whether that be on a walk or at a client’s house. I will ensure to know the temperament of the animal before I arrive. If the animal is afraid of me, I will contact the owner and reevaluate the situation so as to not add additional stress on the animal. As a general rule of thumb when walking a dog if another dog is approaching us, I will cross the street and I always make sure that if I am taking the dog out outside, they are on a leash or in a fenced in area.

“I had a great experience with Cody and would absolutely book with him again. Throughout my dog’s 6-night stay, I received updates and photos on days 1, 3, and 5, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog can be pretty anxious, especially in new environments, but Cody handled him with patience and care. When I picked him up, I could clearly tell he had grown comfortable and even formed a bond with Cody, which says a lot. He was nervous at drop-off, but it was reassuring to see how much more relaxed and at ease he was by the end of his stay. Cody created a safe, welcoming environment and was easy to communicate with throughout the process. I really appreciated the attention given to my dog’s needs and overall well-being. “10/10 stars!! I would absolutely try boarding/cat sitting with Hali in the future. I was considerably nervous as it was the first time my cat would ever spend a night away from me. Hali made sure to keep me updated with plenty of pictures and videos of Wednesday during her stay! My cat is an anxious girl, so I appreciated the effort and patience Hali had with her. Hali was also very considerate about the fact that my cat gets anxious around dogs, and thankfully was able to provide Wednesday with a space of her own! Overall, I’m very happy with the quality of care Wednesday received and would definitely recommend booking with Hali.”

About: I am an animal lover with years of experience taking care of my own dogs and my friends’ many pets. I love to take long walks or sit and hang with animals if that’s what your pets need. I have had dogs in the house since I was a baby, most of which have been large high-energy dogs, so I can handle the big loud pups. My most recent pet was a high-needs senior dog, so I understand the anxiety that comes along with leaving your pet in the care of someone else. I am happy to take care of any special needs and send updates/pictures to ease your mind. I have a soft spot for seniors. In the summer I work from home on weekdays. I have some flexibility when it comes to being able to take longer breaks as long as I can get all my work time in. I have lots of flexibility during weeknights and weekends! My home: I have a great home for dogs, with lots of open space and a fenced back yard. Since I work from home, I would be able to keep an eye on your pets all day long. I have a partner who is home most weeknights and weekdays as well. We recently lost our senior dog and we would love to fill our house with wags and barks again. Clients home: I have lots of experience pet sitting at friends’ homes, so I can adapt to whatever you need at your home. I am very flexible so if you’re curious about how often I can come over or anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.
