“David was great with Gracie. She tends to get stressed when we're away, but she didn't have any reaction this time which, for her, is a compliment! It’s such a relief to find someone she’s comfortable with. Highly recommend!”

“This was our first experience with Rover. Kristin did a great job dropping in to visit, feed and let out our new puppy. I loved the photos she sent! We will definitely book her again.”

“Kelly did such a great job watching my cat!! She also came before I left for my trip so she could get acquainted with him. It was awesome to get photos of him looking happy while I was away. :) Thank you!”

“Ashley was scheduled to walk Goose next week, but I had a last minute emergency and she was so accommodating!! She sent lots of pictures and updates and took great care of Goose! Super thankful for her help”

“She was wonderful with my cat and took great care during her drop-in visits. She checked in consistently, sent updates, and made me feel totally at ease while I was away. I would absolutely book with her again.”

“Jessica has been great with our dogs. We had a few special instructions and she took care of everything we needed. Our dogs get let out twice a week by her, and sometimes she stays longer than we asked. She’s very good at updating our Rover account with all of the details and photos from each visit!”

About: Hi! I’m Kat! 🐾 I've spent much of my life around & caring for animals, I’ve assisted in volunteer work at a shelter working with animals of all type & size! I have experience with animals with: special needs, medical conditions & special diets. Pet care & well being is my priority, I want to ensure a happy and comfortable experience for you & your animal companion. I'm now exclusively working in animal care & services! My schedule for booking is updated regularly, if there is a date that is unavailable or booked out, please reach out. I may be able to open up my schedule for you! Health, safety and well being of an animal is a priority to me, in my personal life and in the experience I have caring for animals, it is not something I take a risk on and is my priority as a guardian and caretaker, I do not take any chances with possibilities of potential harm or safety of an animal. I also keep extra leashes & leads, cooling collars for warmer days, bowls, bathroom bags, and safety gear in my car + on me at all times during our bookings. I carry water with me on walks as well for our furry friend!
About: Hi, my name is Carla. I am a 29-year-old Occupational Therapy grad student, marketing professional, and animal lover! I’m located in Royal Oak centrally close to a lot of neighborhoods. I am looking to pick up work to get some time outside more and make some extra money for school. I have always had a pet in the house! Growing up I had a cat and a dog that I was responsible for. I’ve lived with dogs recently, and I currently have my own cat. Unfortunately, I am not able to offer boarding or care at my current apartment, but I am happy to do overnight stays if needed in the client’s home. I have a pretty flexible schedule because I work full-time online so if I needed to work from a clients house or take my lunch break to do a dog walk all of these options are very easy for me to navigate. I would like to do a few dog walks or pet check ins a week, including weekdays or weekends and potentially an overnight once or twice a month . I will not be having pets at my home, but I am very mindful of pet safety whether that be on a walk or at a client’s house. I will ensure to know the temperament of the animal before I arrive. If the animal is afraid of me, I will contact the owner and reevaluate the situation so as to not add additional stress on the animal. As a general rule of thumb when walking a dog if another dog is approaching us, I will cross the street and I always make sure that if I am taking the dog out outside, they are on a leash or in a fenced in area.
“Kelly took excellent care of our two cats while we were away. You could really tell she really loved animals at the meet and greet. She spent quality time playing, petting and feeding them. Their litter was kept clean and she even sent frequent updates and kept us in the loop every time she went over. You could tell our cats enjoyed her visits by her photos. It was nice to not feel worried about their care while on vacation.”

“Sabrina was amazing and I will definitely rebook when my cat needs a sitter. She went above and beyond to make sure he had everything he needed and she responded quickly to accommodate my last minute request. 15/10 recommend!”

“My family had a great experience with Danielle watching our cat Lenny. She sent daily updates and photos, and Lenny loved her! Highly recommend her caring and professional service.”

“Suzanne did a wonderful job with our fur babies. Our girl cat can be cranky or a sweetheart and Suzanne knew how to bring the sweetheart out of her. She sent delightful photos of Peanut rubbing all up and down her leg in greeting and running around the house excitedly playing or having zoomies. We knew our cat was in good hands with her from the very beginning - just a vibe - but she proved to be responsible, attentive, and definitely went the extra mile to make sure we knew Peanut was being loved, food and maintenance was being taken care of, and that our other pets were also safe.”
“Audrey was responsible, communicative, and always sent a note with photos of all the cats when she visited. She also played with the more active ones. Thanks! I will be using her services again in the future.”

“This is my second time using Autumn, and I always feel very relaxed leaving Quentin. Autumn always gives me updates and I love the pictures. She goes above and beyond and I am grateful to have found her on rover. She plays with Quentin and I know he’s in great hands!! I will definitely be requesting her services again next time we go away. Thanks Autumn!”

“Tara is a great cat sitter! She was very patient with and loving toward my standoffish cat, very prepared for everything required for catsitting, and willing to go above and beyond when I needed it while I was away. I would definitely recommend her as a catsitter and am looking forward to working with her again in the future!”

Huntington Woods cat parents share their Rover experiences
Amanda was referred to me by a neighbor who spoke very highly of her. I was so worried about leaving my cats and felt so much relief after being given the referral, instead of using a neighbor to help me. She followed my directions and I never worried the entire time I was gone as I knew everything was being taken care of. My cats are very fearful of strangers in the house and I want them to get to know her so I can feel comfortable when I leave on trips and they no longer are afraid. I will continue to use her going forward. She sent pictures and it looked like they would make an appearance when she was here so hopefully, that will get better each time.
Second time booking Samantha, who was a referral from a coworker. I have two cats - one of them being medically complex and I feel relief knowing they are in her competent hands. I trust she has good judgement and cares for them. Last time I booked she allowed me to book an extra day last minute after I got stuck in a snowstorm. This time she turned on different lights and the tv for my cats to watch, which cracked me up but I thought was so kind and a cute idea. Thank you so much, Samantha!

Sabrina was so amazing! She made my cat Toby feel like he was on vacation while I was gone. She played with him, pet him, gave him treats and sent me updates all along the way. I would highly recommend her as a sitter and will absolutely repeat next time I have to leave my Toby for more than a day. Thanks, Sabrina :)

First time user of Rover. I went out of the country for two weeks and my normal dog sitter fell thru last minute. I went and used Rover after many people recommending. I messaged a few sitters and sally was the first to respond. I cant begin to express how happy I was with her services and providing a great experience for my dog and cat. She was very transparent, provided multiple updates and was very timely with all her visits during the two weeks I was gone. I booked her for 3x a day for two weeks and showed up with them all on time. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again for sure!

This was our first time booking with Becca and we could not recommend her more. We have a 1 year old cat, who can be shy at first and she took the time to make him comfortable, including coming for a meet and greet. We were out of the country for 7 days, and did not worry once. The communication and pictures we received were great. She even brought in packages and trash cans for us. When we got home, I think our cat was upset that it wasn’t Becca walking into the house again! We will definitely be booking with Becca again in the future!
