Hey pet parents! My name is Lavina Simpson and I’m the owner/operator of Starr Pet Sitting LLC based in Oak Park, MI. Starr Pet Sitting LLC is also family operated! My mother (Lavora) is my assistant at home for boarding/daycare and my father (Herbert) is my assistant for walk/drop in visits. We offer pet sitting services to the Metro Detroit area at very reasonable rates. We are insured/bonded, also cat/dog CPR certified. We specialize in going above and beyond in hopes of making all of our clients and their fur babies happy by providing the best customer service possible. We take so much pride in what we do and we are huge animal lovers! I have been doing pet care industry since 2015. I am more than grateful that I was able to create a successful business out of something I truly love doing!! I have plenty of references available if needed. We can’t wait to meet you and your pets. I take care of pets in my home as well as my clients home therefore, I make sure the environment is safe and secure tor the pets to be in at all times.

My honest opinion the young lady Lavina was very kind but the first red flag for me was they take your dog at the front door and do not let you even see where he's staying the condition or anything. When I picked him up they handed him back to me at the front door outside. Second when I picked my baby up he was crying and shaking so bad I wasn't sure why I've never seen him like that so I pulled over and just held him and he cried like I'd never seen before even when I got him hold he kept crying so it made me wonder what happened while he was there. Third he was there from 2pm until 7am and didn't eat his food ? But needless to say i will not take him back there. This just was not a good experience for me. Lavina took very good care of my doggies while I was out of town. They were happy and she did a excellent job and I would highly recommend her.

Schedule
Pet care is my full time occupation so scheduling is not a huge issue at all. We have plenty of time for play time and potty breaks haha!

Safety is very important to us as we care for your fur babies as if they are our own! We have a fenced in yard and someone is always outside with the pets to maximize safety!!

A typical day
Stimulation for the pets are very important, especially if the breed of the pets are known to be very energetic so I make sure to really enjoy nature with them, playing tons of games like catch/frisbee and going for walks.
