About: Our pets are family. I’ll treat yours with all the love & attention they deserve to give you peace of mind. I’ve been around dogs since I was 3 years old, starting with my Cocker Terrier mix, who was my best friend for 20 years. Since then, I’ve cared for & trained a variety of breeds, from tiny Yorkies to huge German Shepherds & all the shapes & sizes in between. I’ve developed an uncanny ability to form quick bonds so dogs feel at ease quickly with me in their pack. I’m patient, & super comfortable getting even the most timid dogs to warm up in no time. I provide flexibility during stays when you need special accommodations for uncertain travel days. I’m very communicative with my clients, so I’ll gladly answer questions & provide regular updates or pictures throughout my time with your pet. I also have ample experience caring for cats if your feline needs a friend. Presently, I’m dog dad to the sweetest 4 y/o Australian Shepherd who loves making new friends & hosting guests. We’d love to count yours among them! I’m happy to schedule a meet & greet to get to know you & your furry friend better, & ensure my pup, Sersi & I are the ideal fit for your needs. We’ll look forward to meeting you & your buddy soon! As a dog dad, pet care is central to my routine. I work from home, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I take regular breaks to play & engage with them, ensuring they feel loved & stimulated. I understand how stressful it can be when life takes us away from our furry friends, but you can rest easy knowing your pet will be well cared for in my home where your pup will have my friendly Aussie as a playmate. I maintain a clean, safe environment, ensuring your dog settles in quickly to feel right at home with all the comforts they’re used to. I have a safe neighborhood house with a fully fenced backyard for all the sniffing & zoomies time they could ask for. During drop-in visits or walks at your home, I follow routines closely, maintaining your pet’s schedule & environment while giving them all the attention they need to burn energy & feel happy. I make special care to keep them safe on walks through local neighborhoods & parks.
“She did great watching my cat Trixie! My cat is really old so I don’t like to leave her alone for long and Annie did an amazing job at making sure she was well taken care of”
About: Hi, I’m Andrea! 🐾 I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 20 years, from tiny kittens to senior pups who need a little extra TLC. I grew up with pets as part of the family, so I know they deserve love, patience, and attention just like we do. I work from home, which means I have a flexible schedule to spend plenty of time with your furry family member. Friends and family have trusted me for years to care for their pets while they’re away — and I treat every animal like my own. You can count on me for reliable communication, daily updates, and lots of cute photos while you’re gone.

“Melissa was amazing! Professional, pleasant, and went above and beyond when my cat had an upset stomach. I really appreciate how much she cared and did she some extra cleaning.”

“Jessica is fabulous with our new Golden Retriever puppy! She came for 2 visits for her in a day, and our pup was very happy when we got home to her. Jessica sent very thorough updates with plenty of pictures with each visit, and even worked with her on some of the commands we have been teaching her. Jessica is timely, professional, friendly and very good with communication. We felt super comfortable leaving our 9 week old fur baby for the first time in her caring hands. We will definitely be using her again :)”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Madison Heights
Madeleine was very nice, respectful, and helpful while taking care of my cats. There were a couple of minor hiccups—she arrived late on the first day and spent quite a bit of time on her phone rather than actively playing with the cats—but overall, she provided good care, and everything went well.

Stephanie was phenomenal, Mavis absolutely loved her! She sent detailed messages along with pictures and videos everyday which is super helpful for anxious pet parents like me. Next time we go out of town we’ll absolutely be looking at rebooking her, I cannot recommend her more!

Hannah is always the best with our kitties! She gives them such good care and provides me with really great updates and photos. She’s also extremely patient and understanding with our semi-incontinent senior kitty, which we appreciate more than words can express.

My cat is very shy around new people, but he warmed up so quickly to Ally! Previous sitters only saw glimpses of my cat, but Ally had a magic touch that had my cat rolling over to be pet and he nuzzled all over her. She was very responsive and sent detailed updates and pictures. I highly recommend her!

Alexis was amazing! She went above and beyond for our Nala, making sure she was loved and taken care of while we were out of the country for an extended amount of time. Alexis was very communicative with us throughout the whole time. We would definitely highly recommend her to anyone on here.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
