About: Our pets are family. I’ll treat yours with all the love & attention they deserve to give you peace of mind. I’ve been around dogs since I was 3 years old, starting with my Cocker Terrier mix, who was my best friend for 20 years. Since then, I’ve cared for & trained a variety of breeds, from tiny Yorkies to huge German Shepherds & all the shapes & sizes in between. I’ve developed an uncanny ability to form quick bonds so dogs feel at ease quickly with me in their pack. I’m patient, & super comfortable getting even the most timid dogs to warm up in no time. I provide flexibility during stays when you need special accommodations for uncertain travel days. I’m very communicative with my clients, so I’ll gladly answer questions & provide regular updates or pictures throughout my time with your pet. I also have ample experience caring for cats if your feline needs a friend. Presently, I’m dog dad to the sweetest 4 y/o Australian Shepherd who loves making new friends & hosting guests. We’d love to count yours among them! I’m happy to schedule a meet & greet to get to know you & your furry friend better, & ensure my pup, Sersi & I are the ideal fit for your needs. We’ll look forward to meeting you & your buddy soon! As a dog dad, pet care is central to my routine. I work from home, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I take regular breaks to play & engage with them, ensuring they feel loved & stimulated. I understand how stressful it can be when life takes us away from our furry friends, but you can rest easy knowing your pet will be well cared for in my home where your pup will have my friendly Aussie as a playmate. I maintain a clean, safe environment, ensuring your dog settles in quickly to feel right at home with all the comforts they’re used to. I have a safe neighborhood house with a fully fenced backyard for all the sniffing & zoomies time they could ask for. During drop-in visits or walks at your home, I follow routines closely, maintaining your pet’s schedule & environment while giving them all the attention they need to burn energy & feel happy. I make special care to keep them safe on walks through local neighborhoods & parks.

About: I’ve owned pets my entire life so I am well rounded in all things pets and pet care. I love playing and taking care of furry friends of all kinds and I look forward to taking care of your fur baby if you choose me as a sitter. I work full time currently. I get done with work around 2:30. I mainly looking for weekend sitter gigs, walks, or drop ins to visit/feed your pets. I am able to come stay with your pet so they are comfortable in their own home. I can take your pet for walks or play with them. Whatever you may need me to do I am happy to make sure your fur babies are taken care of to the best of my abilities.
About: I always acknowledge that our furry friends aren’t just pets, but living beings with feelings and boundaries that deserve to be respected. If your pet needs a little more time and patience getting to know me, I’m open to doing a meet and greet in your home before you decide to fully commit to make sure everyone is comfortable before we establish a working relationship! I work from home so my schedule is flexible! I prefer mornings and afternoons, though I can adjust my hours to fit you and your individual needs. I provide plentiful updates and clear communication to ensure that you and your pet are well taken care of, if it’s important to you it’s important to me!
“Danielle was great! Friendly and sweet to my pup. She also helped me out when I’m in a bind recovering from a surgery. Really appreciate the whole experience.”

About: I’ve always grown up with multiple dogs at a time. My parents currently love a 5 year old German shepherd, an 8 year old English shepherd, and an 8 year old Staffordshire terrier. I myself now love a 2 year old Irish setter doodle that I have well trained with my boyfriend, and a 3 year old orange tabby kitten! I work in the medical sales industry, so no two days are the same. I usually don’t have a full day however, so if I’m scheduled with your pet, they have my full attention! I currently love a 2 year old male Irish doodle puppy and a 3 year old female orange tabby kitten. They are very friendly with each other and everyone who visits. We think it's important to have rules and structure so they are both trained and well behaved but thoroughly loved and cared for. l am comfortable with putting dogs in crates, letting them out, feeding, and administering medication if necessary; really whatever attending to their normal schedule.
About: My Husband and I welcomed my dog 7 years back in the family when we had no plan to have a pet but we just had to bring her home. I have trained her all by myself and received many compliments on how well-behaved my pet is. I have taken care of my friend's fur friends multiple times. Zusa gets along with pretty much everyone with a condition of them remembering who the queen is in the house lol there’s 40% chance of her playing with your pet but she’ll mostly mind her own business which noting everyone who stopped by- by the bay window that’s 10ft long. Your fur baby will be allowed there too after 24hrs of stay😊 we enjoy pets more than humans😜 which is why your pets likely to be cuddled here not just for the show. They’ll be treated as a cousin of Zusa visiting and nothing less than that. I work from home, so I have plenty of time to entertain your fur friend! I'm available on weekdays anytime after 10 am and accommodate them over weekends with some heads up. I have a fenced yard, lots of toys, and a Shitzu to give your pet company. I do have pretty much everything but a crate, so if you believe your pet will be more comfortable with that, then please bring it with you.
About: Hello! I’m an experienced pet sitter with several years working in a kennel environment and as a groomer. I also enjoy fostering/training dogs for local shelters! I have experience with behaviorally complex dogs as well as working and giant breeds. In addition to professional experience caring for dogs, I also have three personal dogs that I train, show, and trial with in sports! I work from home, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I’m generally not out of the house for more than an hour or two each day. I want your dogs to feel at home here! My three bedroom home has a fully fenced yard and is set up to be safe and comfortable for pets. Dogs who prefer to be the only pet are welcome to solo access to the back yard and one on one time in the house with me! Safety is always my first priority, so all dogs are crated for meal times and when unsupervised/over night. Please note that we have one adult cat in the house! While she is very dog savvy, I’m happy to ensure she is in a separate space if needed.
About: I've grown up with many dogs in my house so I am very comfortable around them! I got my Kona girl when she was a puppy and spent a lot of time learning how to train a high energy dog. She is now a very happy 6 year old girl :) I am currently in a masters program at Wayne State, so my class schedule varies. My classes are typically at night (after 5pm) so most of my availability is during the day. I am happy to discuss how I could fit into your needed routine! I am happy to take care of your pets in their safe space or take them out and explore somewhere new! I will always be careful to be respectful of your space and your pets needs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Madison Heights
Jenna has been absolutely amazing with my dog. She is always punctual, reliable, and incredibly kind. From the very first meeting, it was obvious how much she genuinely loves animals and my dog picked up on that instantly. Mia completely fell in love with her right away, which says everything. It gives me real peace of mind knowing my dog is with someone so caring, attentive, and trustworthy. Jenna goes above and beyond, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly to anyone looking for a dependable and compassionate dog walker.

Isabela was fantastic! She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay, which I really appreciated. She stepped up right when I needed a sitter and made the whole process seamless. I will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter!

We love Grace, but Greyson ADORES her. There is no hiding how he feels by the dances and talks as soon as she walks through the door 😉. She always responds very quickly, is super professional, is wonderful with pets, and I couldn't recommend her more. If you get the opportunity to book with her, I highly recommend that you do!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
