About: I’ve been around all sorts of animals my whole life, but specifically specialize in dog care. I have three years of experience dog daycare, trained in giving a variety of breeds nail trims and baths, and currently studying to become dog trainer certified. Aside from that experience, I am also trained in dog first aid and cpr. I highly prioritize your loved one’s safety first. I do personally love taking care of senior animals. They go at their own pace and I will always be patient and accommodating for them what ever their special needs may be. No matter what age your furry friend is, or breed, or size, I will treat your pet with the utmost care and love like they were my own. I currently have open availability with a lot of flexibility right now. My times on here will always be current so there is no confusion in availability. I wake up around five every morning and don’t go to sleep until 10pm, so there is flexibility where I can be to help out. I do walk everywhere, but will always show up right on time to make sure your pets are taken care of. As mentioned before I am trained in dog first aid and CPR. Aside from that I am well versed in illnesses or complications your pet may have and will collaborate with you for anything else health related. If things become unsafe for either your dog or myself I will let you know as soon as I am aware of it, and we can go from there together as well. While on walks with your furry friend, they will be my number one priority. I won’t have my head in my phone or take them somewhere that’s not appropriate. If anything is to your dislike, please let me know so we can either work it out or go our separate ways.

About: I got started dog-sitting as a teenager, because every family I baby-sat for had dogs as well. I've spent years walking and taking care of dogs, though I've never had one of my own. I love dogs, but through my adult life so far, I haven't lived in an apartment complex that allowed them. I am up for long walks and playtime. I also just moved to the Detroit-area from Kalamazoo, and walking dogs seems like a great way to get to know the neighborhoods.

About: I have had dogs since I was born. I have experience dealing with training puppies as well as dealing with senior dogs. I will follow your instructions for care to the T because I know how important it is for dogs to have stable training and schedules. I will take your dog to the park, out on a walk, on a run, or with me around town. In my mind dogs are part of the family and I will treat them as one of my own for as long as I have the privilege to take care of them. I have two rescues, both fixed that get along great with other dogs. I foster for several rescues so i know how to deal with different temperaments of dogs. Your dog will receive the same care as mine and all the same walks/runs/play time. I work from home so I am able to take your dog outside, for walks, and ensure they are getting the exercise they need to thrive. I have a fenced in yard, gated front porch, and a gate on the stairs. The dogs will have full access to the basement (dog proofed) and first floor. Access to the top floor will be for bedtime (if the routine is the dog sleeps in the bed). We also have a playpen and crates here at the house.

About: I’ve been surrounded by and taking care of dogs since I was young. I have experience with all ages, giving medications and with handling reactive dogs. I am currently working full time (4-5 days) as a server/bartender. My shifts are short(4-5hrs) and usually in the late morning or early evening so I always have part of my day to dedicate to your pet. I do not offer boarding services but I am more than happy to visit your pet and make sure they are comfortable, fed and walked if needed. I'm pretty active and love being outside, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and attention. I'm also consistent and detail-oriented, so l'll follow your routine and instructions closely. I'll always send updates with photos so you know how things are going. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some playtime, or just someone calm and reliable, l've got it covered. I work part-time so I am flexible with my availability. I control my own schedule and usually can accommodate last minute pet needs. I can also do regular, repeat schedules. About: Updated for 2026 :) I’m about 3+ years into this Rover journey and truly enjoy it for so many reasons. We always had a dog growing up and I had two labs and two cats in my adult life who have sense “gone to heaven”. Now in an apartment and not able to have pets, sitting has become extra special for me, giving me that dose of animal love that I’ve been missing :) I also work remote, which ensures your pets have a little extra TLC <3 As far as experience - I’ve been around and love puppies but also know the attention and care that older pets need. They are honestly some of my favorites. Having met and worked with lots of sitters for my own pets in the past, I know the importance of finding someone you can trust not only with your pets but also in your home. From giving medicine, to walks and playtime, rolling in the grass and picking up poop, it all comes with the territory that I’m already so familiar and comfortable with. Because I work remotely, meeting your pets needs and sticking to their schedule should be no problem at all! I’d love the chance to meet and care for the animals in your family! About: Besides taking care of dogs the majority of my life, I’ve been working in the animal care field for over 10 years, from pet services to working on the acclaimed television series, “The Dog Whisperer”. I also have the necessary obedience and training skills from working with “Doggie Docs”, a service that creates video documentaries of your popular pet and other services! I have a profound knowledge of proper training procedures and health assessment that ensures your pup will be in very capable and loving hands. I will evaluate individual behavior, nutritional needs, and your dog’s overall fitness then adapt my services. I always strive to provide a safe and fun environment, to the point your pup won’t ever want to leave. I met my first dog when I was about four years old. We called him Yo Yo and he was the most gentle and sweet soul. That was the beginning of the end for me when it comes to my great love affair with our furry friends. Yo Yo would follow me around just to make sure I was okay, and at any sign of distress, he’d start licking me and wagging his tail to show that I was protected and loved without judgement. I was also a huge dog movie fan as a kid. The original “Benji” had such an enormous effect, so much so, when I moved to Los Angeles, I actually sought out the director of the film so I could learn more about dog training. Since then, I’ve had many dogs come into my life, even four simultaneously at one point! I’ve volunteered at animal shelters across the LA and Detroit areas, including fostering dogs. Unfortunately, I’m without a pup right now, but that’s where yours comes in. I get my dog fix while helping their humans? That’s a win-win situation in my book. I work full time, but I have a lot of freedom at my job, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Your pup’s needs will be my primary focus. Sometimes I work from home or at the office, but it’s only a 10-minute drive away. I’m an active person and I thoroughly enjoy going out with the dogs and get a round of running or playtime with them. I also have an extensive DVD collection so if your dog likes classic movies and prefers chilling on the couch, my place will be heaven. I pretty much let dogs get assimilated to my home for a bit before any fun time starts. I'm always with them on an emotional level especially when their owner first leaves them at the home. It must be scary for them, so I try to make them as comfortable as possible. I’m a super laid-back, respectful, considerate guy, and I always strive to be calm and collected. I don’t take this responsibility lightly––dogs are your family––which means they become a part of mine.

About: Hello! I’m an experienced pet sitter with several years working in a kennel environment and as a groomer. I also enjoy fostering/training dogs for local shelters! I have experience with behaviorally complex dogs as well as working and giant breeds. In addition to professional experience caring for dogs, I also have three personal dogs that I train, show, and trial with in sports! I work from home, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I’m generally not out of the house for more than an hour or two each day. I want your dogs to feel at home here! My three bedroom home has a fully fenced yard and is set up to be safe and comfortable for pets. Dogs who prefer to be the only pet are welcome to solo access to the back yard and one on one time in the house with me! Safety is always my first priority, so all dogs are crated for meal times and when unsupervised/over night. Please note that we have one adult cat in the house! While she is very dog savvy, I’m happy to ensure she is in a separate space if needed.

I’m available for drop-ins, walks, daytime care, and overnights. In a client’s home, I do my best to keep their normal routine the same, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. About: Hi! I'm David. I grew up in Michigan surrounded by dogs and farm animals. Labrador Retrievers were the family favorite, however, I rescued a Basset Hound Mix during the pandemic. One of my college jobs was working at a doggy daycare center. I was quickly promoted to manager and ended up rolling out a marketing plan for the business. It was a blast! I live in Metro Detroit (Oak Park) and am currently "funemployed" which means I have all the time in the world to take care of your furry companions! I take pride in my ability to be patient, gentle, responsible, and fun with all kinds of dogs, sizes, and ages. I have vast and diverse experience taking care of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, horses, and birds. During college, I volunteered at various humane societies and frequently dog sat for friends and relatives. I was also instrumental in co-training a Golden Retriever to be a service dog. That was a highly rewarding experience. My approach to dog care is to start with the owner and get to know the dog through their eyes. I then channel that love and devotion to esteemed care, ensuring that walks are done frequently, food is out at a responsible time, and that enough attention is spent with the dog. I'm an outdoors guy and walk whenever I get the chance, so rest assured that your dog will get a healthy amount of outside time.
