About: I have had dogs since I was born. I have experience dealing with training puppies as well as dealing with senior dogs. I will follow your instructions for care to the T because I know how important it is for dogs to have stable training and schedules. I will take your dog to the park, out on a walk, on a run, or with me around town. In my mind dogs are part of the family and I will treat them as one of my own for as long as I have the privilege to take care of them. I have two rescues, both fixed that get along great with other dogs. I foster for several rescues so i know how to deal with different temperaments of dogs. Your dog will receive the same care as mine and all the same walks/runs/play time. I work from home so I am able to take your dog outside, for walks, and ensure they are getting the exercise they need to thrive. I have a fenced in yard, gated front porch, and a gate on the stairs. The dogs will have full access to the basement (dog proofed) and first floor. Access to the top floor will be for bedtime (if the routine is the dog sleeps in the bed). About: I've had dogs throughout most of my childhood and adult life. Currently, I'm a parent to two pit bulls, Ella and Omar. We've been together for the past 13 years. We take at least two walks a day and on nice summer days sometime three. I'm experienced with handling both big dogs and small. I've attended training classes with both of my dogs and I learned that the training is as much for us as it is the dogs! I enjoy giving lots of love and attention to both of them and my wife and I treat them like our own children. They are getting a bit older now, 13 and 12, but they are barely slowing down! If you have active dogs I'm more than happy to go on runs with them or if you've got senior dogs I can do slow walks and/or give plenty of couch potato cuddles too. Basically I love hanging out with furry friends. I work part time in the evenings on Monday and Wednesday from 6-10. In addition to that I'm a freelance illustrator and work mostly from home. Other than that I have a very flexible schedule. For my two pitts I have a fenced in yard. Both are also crate trained and very well mannered. While we are gone they usually have the house to theirselves as they are behaved enough to not make a mess while we are out. They only stay in their crates for short periods of times like when we have numerous guests over or when any maintenance or service people come over. I'm a pretty mellow person that understands dogs all have their own personalities and I do my best to match their energy. I don't get bothered when any messes or accidents happen, as I understand that's just an occasional part of life with dogs and cats. Most of all I just want our furry friends to be happy and comfortable.

About: Updated for 2026 :) I’m about 3+ years into this Rover journey and truly enjoy it for so many reasons. We always had a dog growing up and I had two labs and two cats in my adult life who have sense “gone to heaven”. Now in an apartment and not able to have pets, sitting has become extra special for me, giving me that dose of animal love that I’ve been missing :) I also work remote, which ensures your pets have a little extra TLC <3 As far as experience - I’ve been around and love puppies but also know the attention and care that older pets need. About: I’ve been around all sorts of animals my whole life, but specifically specialize in dog care. I have three years of experience dog daycare, trained in giving a variety of breeds nail trims and baths, and currently studying to become dog trainer certified. Aside from that experience, I am also trained in dog first aid and cpr. I highly prioritize your loved one’s safety first. I do personally love taking care of senior animals. They go at their own pace and I will always be patient and accommodating for them what ever their special needs may be. No matter what age your furry friend is, or breed, or size, I will treat your pet with the utmost care and love like they were my own. I currently have open availability with a lot of flexibility right now. My times on here will always be current so there is no confusion in availability. I wake up around five every morning and don’t go to sleep until 10pm, so there is flexibility where I can be to help out. I do walk everywhere, but will always show up right on time to make sure your pets are taken care of. As mentioned before I am trained in dog first aid and CPR. Aside from that I am well versed in illnesses or complications your pet may have and will collaborate with you for anything else health related. If things become unsafe for either your dog or myself I will let you know as soon as I am aware of it, and we can go from there together as well. While on walks with your furry friend, they will be my number one priority. I won’t have my head in my phone or take them somewhere that’s not appropriate. If anything is to your dislike, please let me know so we can either work it out or go our separate ways.

About: I got started dog-sitting as a teenager, because every family I baby-sat for had dogs as well. I've spent years walking and taking care of dogs, though I've never had one of my own. I love dogs, but through my adult life so far, I haven't lived in an apartment complex that allowed them. I am up for long walks and playtime. I also just moved to the Detroit-area from Kalamazoo, and walking dogs seems like a great way to get to know the neighborhoods.

Some of the neighbors that hired me had me coming back for years every day to either walk there dog, let there dogs out or feed their cat. I also have experience with overnight pet care. Currently looking for a part-time job in Burlington, so my hours are very flexible and I have open availability for all your pet care needs! About: Besides taking care of dogs the majority of my life, I’ve been working in the animal care field for over 10 years, from pet services to working on the acclaimed television series, “The Dog Whisperer”. I also have the necessary obedience and training skills from working with “Doggie Docs”, a service that creates video documentaries of your popular pet and other services! I have a profound knowledge of proper training procedures and health assessment that ensures your pup will be in very capable and loving hands. I will evaluate individual behavior, nutritional needs, and your dog’s overall fitness then adapt my services. I always strive to provide a safe and fun environment, to the point your pup won’t ever want to leave. I met my first dog when I was about four years old. We called him Yo Yo and he was the most gentle and sweet soul. That was the beginning of the end for me when it comes to my great love affair with our furry friends. Yo Yo would follow me around just to make sure I was okay, and at any sign of distress, he’d start licking me and wagging his tail to show that I was protected and loved without judgement. I was also a huge dog movie fan as a kid. The original “Benji” had such an enormous effect, so much so, when I moved to Los Angeles, I actually sought out the director of the film so I could learn more about dog training. Since then, I’ve had many dogs come into my life, even four simultaneously at one point! I’ve volunteered at animal shelters across the LA and Detroit areas, including fostering dogs. Unfortunately, I’m without a pup right now, but that’s where yours comes in. I get my dog fix while helping their humans? That’s a win-win situation in my book. I work full time, but I have a lot of freedom at my job, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Your pup’s needs will be my primary focus. Sometimes I work from home or at the office, but it’s only a 10-minute drive away. I’m an active person and I thoroughly enjoy going out with the dogs and get a round of running or playtime with them. I also have an extensive DVD collection so if your dog likes classic movies and prefers chilling on the couch, my place will be heaven. I pretty much let dogs get assimilated to my home for a bit before any fun time starts. I'm always with them on an emotional level especially when their owner first leaves them at the home. It must be scary for them, so I try to make them as comfortable as possible. I’m a super laid-back, respectful, considerate guy, and I always strive to be calm and collected. I don’t take this responsibility lightly––dogs are your family––which means they become a part of mine.
