I’ve been around dogs since I was 3 years old, starting with my Cocker Terrier mix, who was my best friend for 20 years. Since then, I’ve cared for & trained a variety of breeds, from tiny Yorkies to huge German Shepherds & all the shapes & sizes in between. I’ve developed an uncanny ability to form quick bonds so dogs feel at ease quickly with me in their pack. I’m patient, & super comfortable getting even the most timid dogs to warm up in no time. I provide flexibility during stays when you need special accommodations for uncertain travel days. I’m very communicative with my clients, so I’ll gladly answer questions & provide regular updates or pictures throughout my time with your pet. I also have ample experience caring for cats if your feline needs a friend. Presently, I’m dog dad to the sweetest 4 y/o Australian Shepherd who loves making new friends & hosting guests. I take regular breaks to play & engage with them, ensuring they feel loved & stimulated. I understand how stressful it can be when life takes us away from our furry friends, but you can rest easy knowing your pet will be well cared for in my home where your pup will have my friendly Aussie as a playmate. I maintain a clean, safe environment, ensuring your dog settles in quickly to feel right at home with all the comforts they’re used to. I have a safe neighborhood house with a fully fenced backyard for all the sniffing & zoomies time they could ask for. During drop-in visits or walks at your home, I follow routines closely, maintaining your pet’s schedule & environment while giving them all the attention they need to burn energy & feel happy. I make special care to keep them safe on walks through local neighborhoods & parks.

About: As a teenager, I took care of our family’s puppy, an Australian Shepherd. From walks, to grooming, to potty-training, to teaching tricks, I pretty much have done it all! I have since then taken care of other dogs in my family. As a decently athletic person, I can take your dog on long walks or runs If need be! My house also feature a nice fenced in yard, perfect for your pet’s need during A stay-over! I am a student completing a doctoral program at NU and a classical musician. With the current pandemic, much of my professional activities have been cancelled for the summer and I found myself with a very flexible schedule. Dogs have always brought me joy and I would be more than happy to be looking after your pet for you!

About: I've owned dogs a majority of my life, both large and small breed. I've house trained and crate trained my own dogs so I have some experience with that, as well. I have 2 cats in the home but they tend to stay away from any new dogs, often hiding in their own room that the dogs are not allowed in. I work from home, which allows lots of one on one time with your pet. I'm able to flex my work schedule based on whatever is needed. I have a fenced in yard, which my own pup loves to run in. Lots of toys and playtime with plenty of comfy surfaces to nap on after.

About: I've walked dogs in the metro Detroit area for around 5 years. I love active dogs, but I don't mind to slow the pace if your dog isn't as energetic. I'm available all day for walks and visits. For boarding and sitting, I am typically available if given a week of prior notice. I love to make sure your companion feels loved and cared for, even when you are away. Dogs love routine and I will adapt to yours! I have experience with all ages, from puppy to senior, and I can administer medications as well. I have plenty of experience with cats and other pets, including the very shy. I live pretty close to the 696 and 75 junction, so getting to and from my house is usually easy. Fortunately, I am currently available for walks, visits, and boarding full time as your schedule needs. I have my own dog and two cats that require my care daily. My yard is fully privacy fenced with a large deck. I have a few small gates I can set up in the house for introducing animals slowly or separating everyone for downtime and breaks. I have a few harnesses/collars, leashes, and a caution symbol to use on walks unless you prefer your current gear. I own a large crate for my 80lb lab that can be used as needed.

About: My first dog is Dakota, but he has taught me a ton since I've had him. I have been around dogs and cats, and other animals since I was a young child. Between my grandparents, and friends and family's animals, I have always been around pets. My family always owned cats, and when I moved out I decided that I wanted a dog. I currently work from home most of days of the week (Tues-Fri), and figured that someone who is going to work might not want to leave their dog home alone all day. I figured that since I am home, I could provide dog owners with another local option for doggy daycare. I have a fenced in yard and I have my own dog who is very friendly. I am constantly getting up to check on Dakota during the workday to make sure that all of his needs are being met.

About: I’ve always grown up with multiple dogs at a time. My parents currently love a 5 year old German shepherd, an 8 year old English shepherd, and an 8 year old Staffordshire terrier. I myself now love a 2 year old Irish setter doodle that I have well trained with my boyfriend, and a 3 year old orange tabby kitten! I work in the medical sales industry, so no two days are the same. I usually don’t have a full day however, so if I’m scheduled with your pet, they have my full attention! I currently love a 2 year old male Irish doodle puppy and a 3 year old female orange tabby kitten. They are very friendly with each other and everyone who visits. We think it's important to have rules and structure so they are both trained and well behaved but thoroughly loved and cared for. l am comfortable with putting dogs in crates, letting them out, feeding, and administering medication if necessary; really whatever attending to their normal schedule.

My name is Phoenix - I am an avid animal lover who has worked with dogs & cats of all ages and sizes throughout my 15 years of experience with volunteering for animal rescue, as well as owning them throughout my lifetime. My top priority is to ensure your best friend feels safe & at home during their stay. Expect thorough updates and high quality photos all day long of your pet! Also, please enjoy the reassurance that your dog will never be left unsupervised! I now work from home. If I do have to leave the home, I have a doggie cam in which allows me to watch AND talk to them from anywhere! I immediately receive alerts to my phone when they are active. I attended Michigan State University for my Pre-Veterinary requirements so I am able to confidently administer any medications or special diets your pet needs. I have familiarity with many dogs/cats of many behaviors - so if your pet is timid or full of energy, no worries! Dogs are allowed to curl up on the couch with me, as well as sleep on my bed (if you allow). The more the merrier. When they enter my home I like to make them feel comfortable and like they are apart of the family. I have 2 dogs, an Australian Shepherd, Luna, and a Beagle/Basset Hound, Leo, whom are extremely social and has an endless amount of energy, if your dog would enjoy a playmate. One last thing, I do have cats - but they are not your typical cat. They are extremely desensitized to dogs and very friendly towards them. Many dogs who have had little to no cat experience are usually in shock by their confidence and just respect their space! Hope to hear from you and your fur baby soon!
