About: I grew up with large breeds and have had dogs my entire life. I lived with all different kinds of foster dogs and now have one 5 year old dog at home. My husband and I are teachers who are home full time in the summer, so we can provide a lot of attention and love to any dog that comes to stay with us! I am a teacher who is home for the summer. I get up early to take a morning walk and avoid the summer heat and take another evening walk. I love taking my dog to the beach to swim throughout the week, as well. Heather was so great with my boys. One of my boys is very slow and takes his time with all of the smells. He’s older and has leg braces so going at his pace is very important. My other boy is so anxious and scared of everything, especially strangers. She took her time with both of them and didn’t rush or push them. It’s so important with my two rescues that they are treated kindly, exactly the way she treated them.
Jessica came right away when I realized I had a very busy day of work. She took my boys out for an hour, which takes a lot of patience. One is always a nervous wreck and pulls on the leash/ is reactive, while the other is a slow walker and smeller with leg braces- a mix that is usually enough to drive anyone crazy. She did amazing tiring them out for me and I’d hire her again! They just got back, and they are both already asleep!
