I've had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats as well as smaller pets like hamsters and fish, so caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I currently live with three cats and am very comfortable with feline routines, personalities and special needs. I also have experience with small and large dogs; from growing up with a Chihuahua to caring for an American Bulldog, so I understand how different sizes and temperaments require different approaches. I am attentive, patient, and always focused on making pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you're away.

Super communicative and great with my big ole pup
Katherine has cared for my cats over many years, across different homes, schedules, and phases of their lives and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better sitter. She’s attentive, calm, and intuitive with animals, especially cats with distinct/spunky personalities and needs. She’s also comfortable administering medication and has reliably given one of my cats daily medicine, which requires patience and care. I always feel at ease knowing my cats are with her. She’s consistent, responsible, communicative, and genuinely loving with them, not just doing the basics, but truly caring. My cats are relaxed and happy in her care, which says everything. If you’re looking for someone you can fully trust with your pets, Katherine is exceptional.
Katherine is communicative, caring, and reliable, all the things that I was looking for in a cat sitter! My cat gets intense separation anxiety, so she gave him extra company beyond what I asked just to make sure he would be less stressed. She followed all my instructions, gave daily updates, and went the extra mile by handling my mail and packages. I just moved to a new city, so I was nervous about hiring a cat sitter I didn’t know super well, but Katherine exceeded my expectations and I will be hiring her again.

Schedule
I currently work Tuesday-Saturday in the afternoons (typically from 3:30pm-8pm with the occasional later nights). I am available in the mornings for check-ins, quality time, play time, feedings, and walks and I'm happy to help pets start their day calmly and on a schedule. I communicate clearly if my evening availability changes and always prioritize routines and consistency for the pets in my care.

- Every pet has their quirks and I love getting to know them! Let me know if your fur baby goes on hunger strikes, occasionally nibbles or lightly bites, likes to chew on plants, has a sensitive tummy, gets shy around new people, doesn't get along with other dogs or is sensitive to the scent of other animals. The more I know, the better I can keep them happy, safe and comfortable while you're away.
