About: I grew up with large breeds and have had dogs my entire life. I lived with all different kinds of foster dogs and now have one 5 year old dog at home. My husband and I are teachers who are home full time in the summer, so we can provide a lot of attention and love to any dog that comes to stay with us! I am a teacher who is home for the summer. I get up early to take a morning walk and avoid the summer heat and take another evening walk. I love taking my dog to the beach to swim throughout the week, as well. I live in a home with a yard (unfenced) and a 5 year old poodle mix to keep your pup company. Lots of walks and time spent snuggling will help keep your dog happy when they stay with me.

Right from the beginning, Rachel was incredibly prompt with her response to my inquiry and set up a meet and greet within 15 minutes of contact! When meeting Rachel it was clear she not only had a caring and sweet disposition and love of animals but that she took her job really seriously. She asked several considerate questions about how to best care for our fuzzy family member both logistically and emotionally. She really made me feel at ease and extremely confident in her abilities. During his stay, our family was sent numerous photos and videos of our boy having the absolute best time! Rachel is the epitome of going 'above and beyond', providing enrichment activities and even providing our pup with a doggie cupcake (we got a video of him enjoying it!) and some gourmet doggie snacks from a local shop! Wow. So grateful we found Rachel.
