I would love to take care of your furbaby! I have several years of past experience working at animal hospitals and a year of volunteer experience at the ASPCA animal shelter. I offer boarding with only one pet family booked at a time. I also offer house-sitting and love how it is a great option for some pets who feel most comfortable in their own home. I also make sure to keep your home at least as clean and tidy as I found it. I usually stay overnight for the pet's care needs, but if you are looking for just morning to evening or partial day house-sitting, message me for a custom rate. Whether boarding or house-sitting, I will do my best to adhere to your furbaby's normal routine. I have a knack for relaxing anxious/shy/reactive pets and have quite a lot of experience winning them over. I would be happy to do a meet-n-greet in a large outdoor space for your pup to warm up to me on neutral ground. I've cared for the full spectrum of dog sizes and ages. With older pets, I go slowly and make sure not to startle them if they're sleeping, as they may not see or hear me come in. I like to discuss how I can accommodate any special needs your pet may have. Extra plus if your pet is a cuddler! I look forward to getting to know all of your pets' personality traits and quirks! I LOVE hearing stories about the weird things your pets do that make them unique! :D

If I could give Lauren 6 stars, I would! Lauren went above and beyond caring for our sweet (and sometimes reactive) pitbull. She was everything you could ask for in a house/dog sitter: communicative, caring, proactive, and thoughtful. We so appreciate the attention and love she gave our dog; always keeping us updated with lots of photos. Lauren cared for our home and dog like it was her own and we so appreciate her service! Would not hesitate to book with Lauren again and looking forward to our dog’s next staycation!
I was in a last minute pinch and I am so grateful I found Lauren! She was easy to coordinate with and took great care my 6 month old puppy.
This was the second time Lauren watched out senior Siberian Husky and the longest. We were gone for 13 days on a trip in Europe. Lauren sent pictures and updates multiple times a day, and our dog was as happy as could be! He has had problems in the past with stress when we leave, problems eating, howling. But Lauren is so skilled with dogs, we could tell how happy he was throughout. It really allowed us to enjoy our long awaited vacation and feel peace of mind knowing she was there with him. She stayed in our apartment and everything was respected and left perfectly as it was. I will be booking her whenever available and would highly recommend her as a dog sitter!
Honestly this was the first time ever doing this and I was a bit hesitant. But it was great Lauren sent so many pictures and we loved it! If I could give 10 I would give 10 stars. We would definitely do this again!

I work from home and can often accommodate same day requests for walks, drop-ins, and house-sitting. I do my best to follow your pet's normal routine.

I like to go slow when meeting new furbabies, especially if you tell me they are shy or anxious. I use a few calming techniques that have shown to be effective. I like a challenge! It's so rewarding watching the transformation of a cat/dog go from showing defensive/protective behavior to them rubbing up on me or giving me kisses. Earning their trust is the best!
A typical day
I love to provide enrichment for your pet ie. playing tug-of-war, laser pointer, tossing balls around, walks, cuddles, setting up puzzle toys, kongs, watching Animal Planet, etc.
