“I was nervous because this was the first time I'd left Picasso with someone he didn't know. Ekow was extremely kind and sent updates of a happy dog daily, which made me feel much better. We've found a new sitter and I will definitely be reaching out anytime we need a sitter. Five stars!!”

“This was my boy Bodhi’s first stay with Steven and I am very happy I chose him to sit. Excellent communication with daily pics/videos, and really friendly and personable. Making him my go-to for future sitting!”

“Whitley was amazing!! Otis is an active guy and there were no shortage of action packed adventures. Otis and Whitley's dog Ollie had a fun and became best buddies. Whitely shared updates 2 times daily and I had complete peace of mind! I highly recommend her! We will be back for sure!!”

“Queeny took such great care of my 5 month old puppy! She sent pictures and videos throughout the time of our Kaju being with her. She is also so attentive! At home we get Kaju’s water from the filtered fridge water spout out of habit and Queeny noticed that Kaju wasn’t drinking tap water and provided him with filtered water. I absolutely recommend Queeny!”

“Emily, Jason & Larry were excellent hosts!! Upon my request for a sitter, they suggested a meet & greet between our dogs. They were welcoming and caring about insuring the dogs were compatible. We agreed on letting Nanook stay. They were very communicative about what our dog was up to, how he was getting along with Larry and they sent photos too. After the stay we were surprised to have received a thank you note and a personalized treat in our bag. That was such a sweet touch! We would definitely book with Emily & Jason again! Nanook enjoyed his stay with them and Larry!”

“Cody was so great with our golden retriever, Snoop! His dog seemed to get along well with Snoop and it was great to know he was in a good environment being well taken care of!”

“Theresa and Adrian took great care of my boy while I was away for a few days! They kept me up to date and also kept up with his normal routine of long regular walks to keep him fulfilled. I also appreciated the flexibility with drop off and pick up times. Thanks for taking good care of Butters!”

“Meredith was super kind, lovely and made my little Bichon Frisé felt totally at home. She updated me with videos and pictures constantly even describing how my little one was feeling each day. Definitely I’ll book Meredith again, she is the best!”

“Jessica was super easy to work with, accommodating and her energy is 10/10. We have a big rescue puppy who did so well with Jessica, and we think was sad to leave her. Will definitely use again in the future.”

“We had an amazing experience with Sofia. She was incredible with our puppy and kind and flexible with us. A joy to work with, extremely professional, and full of love for our dog! Thank you SO much Sofia! Would 100% ask her to watch Dove again.”

“Great overall! She communicates (sometimes a bit often), but you can tell it’s in her caring nature. She was able to go to rescue my baby after a Rover sitter left him home alone while I was out of town due to an “emergency”. Beverly was there step by step and I wouldn’t know what I would’ve done without her stepping in to get a ride to my place, pack him and his things, and take him in for boarding. She sent me pics and videos to ensure he was well taken care of. I would book with her again!”

“So happy I booked with Kayla to sit my pup while I was on vacation. She kept my mind at ease with all the pictures and the updates. I felt confident she would treat my dog right. I definitely plan on booking with her again in the near future.”

About: Hello! My pet experience consists of having my own doggy for the past 20 years. I rescued my older dog and then got a new puppy. My old Rose passed away but I had to give her eye medication and oral medication everyday so I am comfortable with that. I also grew up with family dogs and cared for those dogs. My availability to watch your dog is very flexible. I work from home a most days a week so it is a high chance that I could work from home while caring for your pup. I am a very caring person. I have a PhD in human development and family science and work in the social work field. I have a giant heart and would love to care for your doggie! As a stay-at-home worker, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent attention, timely feedings, regular potty breaks, and plenty of play and cuddle time. My flexible schedule means I can easily accommodate pets’ needs, whether that’s sticking to a specific routine or being available for spontaneous walks and care. Being home also helps me monitor behavior closely and respond quickly to any changes, making pets feel secure, loved, and well looked after. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home, pets have access to cozy rest areas, regular outdoor time, and plenty of affection and play throughout the day. I maintain a calm, clean space and follow any routines or special instructions provided. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and stick closely to the pet’s established schedule to minimize stress. I provide regular updates, ensure fresh food and water, maintain cleanliness, and give each pet the love and attention they’re used to.
“My cat Pinto warmed up to Kayla immediately! She was so sweet, thoughtful and flexible when my plans changed last minute. Great communication and updates, impeccable care. I could tell Pinto was not just looked after but loved. Would definitely book Kayla again. Thank you so much!”

“Angela is communicative, kind and friendly. I’ve never used Rover before and I am so happy I did. My dog Sammy is high energy and a bit needy so I was nervous. But it worked out great and I was so glad to see everyday that Sammy was in great hands and having fun. A++++ THANK YOU”

“Kristen was extremely reliable, communicative, and flexible in the care of my dog Elle. We left her with Kristen for a week and had to change plans a few times due to flight changes. Throughout the entire time, she made sure Elle was well take care of. We highly recommend Kristen and recommend her care!”

“Ruffles is 14 years old and pretty easy-going. They made every effort to try and play with her, settle her in their bed for a nap, etc. They sent videos throughout the day and responded to every communication promptly so that I knew how she was doing and followed up after the visit to tell me how the day went. I’ve already booked two additional visits for a week each.”

“Camille was great! She gave me regular updates and shared lots of pictures of Millie having a great time. When I picked her up Millie was happy and clearly had a great time getting lots of love and attention.”

Yelitsa did such a wonderful job with our dog Mia! I received so many updates, at least 2 a day. She did well with administering my dog’s daily medication and keeping up with our regular feeding schedule in her home. Overall, my dog looked super happy every day and Yelitsa went above and beyond with exercise, treats and play time. We will definitely be booking with her again and I’d recommend her to anyone in need of pet sitting!

We can’t thank Whitley, Christine, and Ollie enough for taking such great care of our pup Motley during our vacation. This was our first time using Rover, but after the meet and greet, we felt very comfortable booking the stay. We really appreciated the daily photos and video updates! We were the ones on vacation, but Motley was having a vacation of his own and it was clear he was having a great time. We will definitely book with Whitley again!

This was my pup's first stay with Sofia, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She sent frequent updates and photos throughout the holiday weekend, which really helped me relax knowing my girl was happy and well cared for. Sofia's communication was excellent, and I truly appreciated the care and attention she gave my pup. I'd absolutely book another stay and highly recommend her!

Kira's been our rover since we moved to Detroit, and our dog's hung out with her and her dog many times at this point. Our dog clearly loves staying over, which is rare for her, and it speaks to Kira's ability to care for animals and be responsible and present. Will continue to trust her with my dog for as long as she's willing!
