About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I’ve been a dog/cat/house sitter before on and off especially during covid. I love long walks, play time and cuddles. Making your pet happy would make me happy too. I miss living at home with family pet. Currently I work part time as hairstylist working on building there clientele. I would be availbe for morning and late walks during my working days . On my days off I will have way more availability even mid day availablity for walks. House sitting nights can vary a little depending on my schedule but am pretty flexible. My house is not available for sitting. When staying at your place I will let dog/cat out into back yard leashed if no fence. Even if there is a fence I will be there watching the dog/cat. When comming in and leaving the house I will lock all doors for mine and pets safety. I will follow any other instructions of home owner .

About: Hi! I'm David. I grew up in Michigan surrounded by dogs and farm animals. Labrador Retrievers were the family favorite, however, I rescued a Basset Hound Mix during the pandemic. One of my college jobs was working at a doggy daycare center. I was quickly promoted to manager and ended up rolling out a marketing plan for the business. It was a blast! I live in Metro Detroit (Oak Park) and am currently "funemployed" which means I have all the time in the world to take care of your furry companions! I take pride in my ability to be patient, gentle, responsible, and fun with all kinds of dogs, sizes, and ages. I have vast and diverse experience taking care of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, horses, and birds. During college, I volunteered at various humane societies and frequently dog sat for friends and relatives. I was also instrumental in co-training a Golden Retriever to be a service dog. That was a highly rewarding experience. My approach to dog care is to start with the owner and get to know the dog through their eyes. I then channel that love and devotion to esteemed care, ensuring that walks are done frequently, food is out at a responsible time, and that enough attention is spent with the dog. I'm an outdoors guy and walk whenever I get the chance, so rest assured that your dog will get a healthy amount of outside time. About: Hi, my name is Carla. I am a 29-year-old Occupational Therapy grad student, marketing professional, and animal lover! I’m located in Royal Oak centrally close to a lot of neighborhoods. I am looking to pick up work to get some time outside more and make some extra money for school. I have always had a pet in the house! Growing up I had a cat and a dog that I was responsible for. I’ve lived with dogs recently, and I currently have my own cat. Unfortunately, I am not able to offer boarding or care at my current apartment, but I am happy to do overnight stays if needed in the client’s home. I have a pretty flexible schedule because I work full-time online so if I needed to work from a clients house or take my lunch break to do a dog walk all of these options are very easy for me to navigate. I would like to do a few dog walks or pet check ins a week, including weekdays or weekends and potentially an overnight once or twice a month . I will not be having pets at my home, but I am very mindful of pet safety whether that be on a walk or at a client’s house. I will ensure to know the temperament of the animal before I arrive. If the animal is afraid of me, I will contact the owner and reevaluate the situation so as to not add additional stress on the animal. As a general rule of thumb when walking a dog if another dog is approaching us, I will cross the street and I always make sure that if I am taking the dog out outside, they are on a leash or in a fenced in area.

My current lab is 6 years old, and my previous lab lived to 16, so I have experience with both energetic puppies and sweet senior dogs. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, daytime care, and overnights. In a client’s home, I do my best to keep their normal routine the same, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. About: Hi, I’m Rebecca and I would love to watch your dog. I have a fenced in yard that’s perfect for little dogs! We had a small dog for over 18 years. I understand how your dog is truly another member of your family and would care for him like a member of my own. Being a RETIRED teacher, my availability is ideal - I’m almost always home...especially for summer vacations! We are up early and I am home most of the day. On the weekends you’ll also usually find me spending time with my family and sometimes at the ballpark . But your pet will have company often. My home is located in Huntington Woods which is a wonderful city to walk your dog around. I look forward to meeting your pup and offering excellent care while you are away for work or play. I am up early for quick walks and potty breaks. My husband leaves much later or sometimes works from home, so another morning potty break is a definite. I’m usually home because I’m now retired! We are a home body family by nature, so we give plenty of attention to our guest dogs. We had a very small dog ourselves (Harley passed 3/13/23), so our yard is very carefully fenced to make sure there are no escape routes😂 Our children are older as well, so toys and snacks are not all over the floor anymore. We keep a tidy, yet pet friendly home and pets are always welcome on our couches or chairs!
