“This has been my first experience with a dog walker. Lizzi has been AMAZING!!! It is such peace of mind knowing your pet is being cared for by someone who loves animals! Thank you Lizzi!!!”

“Kelly has been the most reliable dog walker that I’ve ever hired. She is great at keeping you updated on how the walks go, and on top of that she is an amazing pet photographer, so you get some great photos with the updates! Can’t say enough positive things about her!”

“Erica takes great care of beau. Communicates great and very trustworthy with dogs. I feel super comfortable having her walk beau while I'm at work. She's been nothing but wonderful and accommodating even under short notice. Highly recommend!”

“Samantha takes such good care of our dog. She is very reliable, professional and caring. We know Maggie is in good hands during the bookings. We cannot recommend Samantha enough!”

“Jillian was super flexible this week when I had a somewhat last minute change of plans that disrupted our normal weekly schedule. I really appreciated her quick response and ability to fit me into her schedule. All topped off with a great picture of my little buddy! Thanks, Jillian!”

“I had a broken foot so I couldn’t walk my dog. Allie saved the day. My dog is not yet well trained but she’s sweet. Allie got along great with her and I’m sure my pup is going to miss her. I look forward to booking with Allie again. She’s lovely and kind and my willful dog made a new friend. Thanks again Allie!!”

“Heather and Robert saved me this week! I had unexpected surgery while sitting for my parents' high energy dog. I could handle feeding/letting him out but the monster (bernedoodle) needed walks and I can't strain the incision sites. With little notice Heather and Rob fit me into their schedule. Rob did a great job befriending a dog that is hesitant about men, and Snickers immediately loved (a.k.a. Jumped all over) Heather. Both took time trying to wear him out on walks. They both communicated well and were able to handle a dog that jumps, pulls, "helicopters" when seeing cars, etc. I'm thankful they are helping me get through this rough week!”

“My pup loved Sarah! She was very accommodating with my changing schedule and very communicative. Made my day receiving the pictures of his walks and just how overjoyed he was. Recommend Sarah to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy person who genuinely cares about your pet. 10/10!”

“Alayna is great, my dog is happy, I am definitely rebooking her again. She sent me the cutest photos of my dog, played with him, walked and pet him, and swapped his water more often than I do. Thank you so much”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I’ve been a dog/cat/house sitter before on and off especially during covid. I love long walks, play time and cuddles. Making your pet happy would make me happy too. I miss living at home with family pet. Currently I work part time as hairstylist working on building there clientele. I would be availbe for morning and late walks during my working days . On my days off I will have way more availability even mid day availablity for walks. House sitting nights can vary a little depending on my schedule but am pretty flexible. My house is not available for sitting. When staying at your place I will let dog/cat out into back yard leashed if no fence. Even if there is a fence I will be there watching the dog/cat. When comming in and leaving the house I will lock all doors for mine and pets safety. I will follow any other instructions of home owner .

“Scott is absolutely fabulous with our little dog, Jackson! Jackson is happy and returns from his walks even happier! Scott is on time, efficient, trustworthy, and obviously loves what he does! We're so glad we found him!”

About: I’ve had multiple dogs throughout my life and currently have one border collie at home. I’m used to 1+ hour walks multiple times a day (as needed), lots and lots of engaged playtime, and work to put furry family members first! 🐕 🐾 I’m a college student that is currently on summer break; as such, I have a very flexible schedule at the moment (mornings, afternoons, evenings, etc) I make sure keep doors open/headphones off when at home/while dogsitting so that animals don’t have to work to get my attention when they need it—I aim for at least two long walks a day with my high energy dog, with shorter potty breaks interspersed during the day. I understand the importance of accurate portion control for pets and make it a point to keep animals healthy with accurate meal sizes and monitor their water intake throughout the day.
The median cost per walk for dog walking in Beverly Hills is $20

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
