“Claire was amazing! I had to book last minute and Claire was very responsive and timely. This was also my first time using Rover and she was super patient with me :) My dog is a bit needy with his separation anxiety & Claire gave him all the cuddles and love he needed <3 She also kept me updated with multiple photos throughout the sitting (which gave me a lot of comfort!). Next time I'm in Birmingham, MI I will 100% try and book Claire again!!”

Thank you Amanda for taking such good care of Sadie, Koda and Rosie!! I’m so grateful!”

About: I have been providing care for other peoples animals and also my own for 10 plus years. I have volunteered at shelters throughout highschool and am currently a full time vet assistant in school for veterinary nursing. I have had many animals of my own from frogs to dogs, and love them all equally! I work only 4 days a week so am free friday through sunday all day, but am more than happy to provide care mornings and evenings during the week! I am always willing to work with whatever works best for you and your fur baby. I will adhere to their routine and do what I can to make them the most comfortable.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better, kinder or sweeter person to watch over our dog. As a dog owner your pet is your family member and you want to trust the person in their care and in your home. Yahawa is all these things. I wouldn’t hesitate to yes yet again recommend her highly. Thank you!”

“Brooklyn has watched Bruiser several times, she does a great job! He had surgery, and since she had vet tech experience I was totally at ease leaving him, knowing she could probably tend to his needs better than I can.”

About: Prior to moving to Detroit. I walked dogs for the my local shelter in Illinois. I’ve also watched friends and families pets for weeks at a time. I am almost always available on weekends, even early mornings or late at night. Weekdays I’m available after 4 pm to as late as 11 pm. Try to make the pets as comfortable as possible, I try to keep them entertained by playing with toys, taking long walks or even a trip to the dog park.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years, from training my Golden Retriever for 4H competitions to raising my current Goldendoodle from a puppy. I’m confident handling dogs of all ages and energy levels, and I know how to build trust quickly with new pets. I’m especially comfortable with basic training, managing routines, and giving extra attention to senior dogs when needed. I treat every dog like they’re my own and always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine, especially as a student with a flexible schedule. I'm already taking care of my own dog every day—walks, meals, playtime, and training are part of my normal flow. Adding in time with other pets feels natural and rewarding. I enjoy the break it gives me from screen time and studying, and I always make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment. At my place, pets get plenty of playtime, outdoor walks, and a cozy spot to relax. I keep things clean and stick to their usual routines to help them feel at home. If I’m in a client’s home, I make sure to respect their space while following any instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, or favorite toys and habits. I keep things low-stress for both pets and owners, giving regular updates and lots of attention to every little detail.

About: Hi, my name is Nicolette and I am a proud pet parent of 4 rescue animals - two dogs, and two cats. My headline speaks for itself - my pets are my children, and I believe they deserve to be treated with the same care, dignity, and respect as human children. I have extremely high standards for my Rover sitters, and would only expect that you would have the same for me. I am extremely detail-oriented, a great communicator and listener, and responsive, reliable, and trustworthy. I would practice what I preach for my home - I do not bring guests over, I do not smoke or drink, and I am more than comfortable with cameras in the home for your peace of mind and the safety of your fur children. I know how much pet parents rely on their sitters showing up when they are scheduled, and I intend to keep that promise no matter the weather or any other conflict that may arise. I encourage phone/video calls for us to get to know each other and for me to answer any questions you may have, and in-person visits before I start caring for your pet at your home! My two rescue dogs are fearful/anxious, so that is a speciality of mine and a passion. I only believe in using positive reinforcement/force free techniques, so if you use shock, prong, or choke collars, I am not comfortable using these tools and am unfortunately not the right fit for your home. If you believe in treats, enrichment, redirection, and management of the environment to promote success and comfort, I’m your girl! I am comfortable giving medication or any speciality diets. We recently adopted two rescue kittens, and I could not adore them more. One of our kittens is extremely social and attention-seeking, and the other is shyer and more fearful - I am comfortable with working with all different temperaments in cats! I love playing with kittens/cats, and enriching their minds. Litter box scooping is no big deal for me as we do that at our home. I am a warm, patient, and bubbly person, and animals really take well to this - I am quickly able to earn the trust of most animals because I watch their body language and take things at their pace. My pets are my prides and joys, and caring for them and other people’s fur babies is such a blessing. I would love to connect and begin caring for your fur babies like I do for my own. I work full-time, so I am available on select work from home weekdays (I would adjust my working hours accordingly), or could work remotely from your home those days to spend longer time with your pets. My main availability will be weekend availability, where I will schedule my day around you! I am good at managing my time and would not overbook myself (this is what I expect of my sitters). I am definitely open to overnights for the right family, as my fiancée will be home with my pets and we can work this out as needed! I will care for your pets in your home only since I have 4 pets of my own. I would want to meet to review all details regarding your fence, walking/the neighborhood, etc. I will care for your home like I would mine, and am more than comfortable with cameras in the home to be sure you can earn my trust (I use cameras to ensure the safety of my pets).

“I can't say enough wonderful things about Cailyn! From the moment we met her, it was clear how much she genuinely cares for animals. She’s been walking our dog and pet sitting for us for several months now, and we trust her completely. Our pup absolutely lights up when she sees Cailyn, and we always come home to a happy, well-cared-for pet. Cailyn is reliable, responsible, and has a calm, loving presence that animals just seem to gravitate toward. She goes above and beyond—whether it's sending us updates and photos, making sure our dog gets enough playtime, or keeping everything tidy when she's pet sitting.
