My first dog was a Maltese who lived to be 18 years old, and caring for him taught me the importance of patience and gentle attention—especially with senior dogs. My family recently adopted a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, and I took the lead in potty training and helping her adjust to a new home. We also just welcomed a Golden Retriever into the family, and I can’t wait to help her learn and grow! Beyond my own pets, I’ve cared for poodles, bernedoodles, German shepherds, pit bull mixes, and more—ranging from tiny pups to big seniors. I’m confident with a wide range of breeds and temperaments, and I know how to adjust my care style for each one. I’m also very reliable and communicative—I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you’ll always know how your pup is doing! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I love starting and ending my day with walks, and I plan my schedule around giving dogs plenty of attention and exercise. Since my apartment is dog-friendly with its own dog park—and there are two nearby green spaces—I’m able to offer frequent outdoor time and flexible care throughout the week. I also am a graduate student so the flexibility of academia means I am not tied down to a 9 to 5, and I have a car so I can pick up your furry best friend and drop them off for you! In my home, pets have a comfortable and safe environment to relax in. I make sure food, water, and cozy spots are always available, and I keep to each dog’s feeding and walking schedule closely. My apartment community has a fenced dog park that’s perfect for playtime, and I also enjoy taking dogs to nearby parks for walks or fetch. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully and make sure their space stays tidy and secure. I’m respectful of each pet’s routine and comfort level, and I always aim to make the experience stress-free for both the dog and their owner.
