About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have been actively caring for them from a young age. I grew up with four dogs and over ten cats, and when my parents got kittens for me in third grade, I learned the responsibility of daily feeding, litter care, grooming, and monitoring their health — along with how to truly bond with and care for animals. In sixth grade, I helped raise and train a puppy of my own, which gave me hands-on experience with leash training, house training, basic commands, and understanding puppy behavior. Over the years, I’ve cared for both large and small dogs, as well as pets of all ages — from energetic puppies and kittens to senior animals who require extra patience and gentle attention. I also helped care for my senior cat who had been with me my whole life, which taught me a great deal about the special needs of aging pets. In addition, I’ve walked dogs and provided pet sitting for friends and families, always keeping routines consistent and stress-free. I have experience walking reactive dogs and have learned how to calmly de-escalate situations, as well as how to approach and build trust with more timid animals. I've learned the importance of learning and adapting to each pet's unique needs. I’m comfortable handling a wide range of temperaments and energy levels, and I always prioritize safety, attentiveness, and consistency, because every pet deserves thoughtful care. I’m currently a student at the University of Michigan and have flexibility between classes, which allows me to provide dependable daytime and evening care during the school year. In the summer, when I’m not in classes, I work part-time and have even more availability - I’m especially excited to take on more Rover bookings during that time. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I stick closely to feeding schedules, make sure fresh water is always available, and provide walks, playtime, and enrichment based on their usual energy level and personality. I pay attention to their behavior and body language so I can quickly notice if anything seems different. I’m also very respectful of your home, keeping things tidy and secure, while making sure your pet feels relaxed, safe, and cared for (and have fun!) in their familiar space.

About: Hi! My name is Nathaniel, and I’m a dependable, reliable, and energetic pet sitter based in Ann Arbor. I grew up with two cats, so I’m very comfortable with everything from playful kittens to more independent, low-key cats who just want their space. I also spent my summers in a house with six dogs, and yes, I’m serious, so I’m used to lots of energy, different personalities, feeding routines, walks, and the occasional chaos that comes with a full house of pets. I try to keep the pet’s environment as normal and stress-free as possible. I’m careful with doors, leashes, gates, and food, and I always make sure pets are secure before entering or leaving. I’m also respectful of the home itself and make sure things are left clean and exactly how I found them. My goal is to make pets feel safe, cared for, and relaxed while their owner is away. About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! Growing up on a farm I am very comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes. I grew up with a big and energetic yellow lab so trust me I know how to handle the zoomies! Whether I am just walking your dog, visiting with you cat, or just checking in to feed or let out, I will make sure they are loved and happy. I will send you updates and pictures of your pet/pets as frequently as you’d like! I'm currently a student with online classes so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am able to stop by your home as often as you need and can take your pet on walks frequently through the day as well. I have a backyard and there are two kittens living in the house. A very friendly and safe environment and I can also crate your dog if you want!

About: I have lived with at least one pet my whole life. My family and I got two new labradors in 2020 and I have done a majority of the care taking. I walk, feed, and care for them! My neighbors, family, and friends have also hired me to watch, walk, and care for their pets as well. I have dog sat dogs of all sizes and have no trouble handling bigger dogs. I just moved to Chicago for a summer internship and I am looking for a way to stay active while also taking care of animals that I love! I will be available all week until June 16th, then I will only be available on the weekend or later in the afternoon on weekdays to care for your pets. I am an extremely organized and timely individual. I will insure that I am on time for each dog walking session and when I am in your home I will be respectful, careful, and clean!

About: I have had pets my entire life (I currently have three dogs!), and have been a dog sitter for family friends. I have always loved spending time with animals and I can’t wait to spend time with yours! I’m currently a part-time student at UM staying in Ann Arbor until the end of June.
