About: I am a 27 year old grad from UVA in Ann Arbor for my MBA. I grew up with a big dog at home (100lbs) and adopted a cat 8 years ago who I adore. In the past, I have fostered puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats, so have a wide variety of experience. I am very comfortable getting pets to take medication (oral or ointments) as I’ve had experience with my own pets and fosters. I look forward to hanging out with your animals! I’m currently an MBA student with a fairly flexible schedule. Availability varies throughout the week, with all evenings plus full day Fri-Sun almost always open for help. I have a lot of experience caring for pets at my clients’ homes and will always send pics when owners are away and missing their fur babies!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for year and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have had dogs growing up ranging from large dogs to my current dog being a mini English bulldog who I adore so dearly. Over the years I’ve primarily done over night home sitting for days at a time and walking a consistent group of dogs. I’m currently a college student on summer break, so I have a lot of availability and time off, especially on the weekends. I am always willing to find a time. About: Growing up I lived with several dogs (big and small, some who required extra care) and babysat friends' dogs as an adult. I now live with my orange tabby cat, soda. I have several years of healthcare experience with direct clinical (human) patient care. I can identify and act in the event of a crisis, and am a calming attentive caregiver always. If nothing else, I'm far from faint-hearted. I am currently available every day and although I’m planning to attend UMich full-time in January I still anticipate having time each day to care for pets. Soda is a sweet and social 7lb tabby. He loves to be held and carried around the house. Building routines with soda has been a joyful insight into his personality and thoughts, be that our morning coffee time (no coffee for him, but he likes the smell), grooming, or finding a comfy spot to hide from the vacuum. I adore his curiosity and am grateful to be there with him when he needs me. Soda’s trust that I can be a safe place for him means the world to me. I know how important that trust is between all pets and people, and the trust you place in me to care for your pet is so important. I understand each animal is different and would love to know what quirks and routines are important to you and your pet.
About: I am excited to help care for your pets! I grew up with two dogs of my own and have also spent many hours volunteering at local animal shelters to give some love to animals in need. I currently have two pet rats, and am a lover of all creatures big and small (although I do have a soft spot for cats). I’m currently in the interview process for a few full-time positions, so I am not booking services that are more than a month out just in case my schedule changes. V went beyond the call of duty with Adam. She returned for a second visit to check to make sure he wasn't ill. She took the dirty bedding and put in the wash. She sat with him patiently and gave him lots of cuddles. She indicated he was fine Thank you for giving Adam such wonderful care I appreciate your kindness and compassion.
Micheal did a great job being patient and accommodating with my at times stubborn, senior foster dog! He showed my foster pup lots of care and helped me balance work and my foster pup with his help. Communication was good, for example one day I changed my dog’s food so I was worried how he would do that day, and Michael provided updates quickly. Thank you Michael!
Five stars, without hesitation. Shashank has been a wonderful find for our family. He walks our dog Leon regularly, and Leon gets genuinely excited every time he sees him, which tells you everything you need to know. What really cemented our trust happened when I was unexpectedly told during a routine appointment that I needed to deliver my baby the same day. With no time to make arrangements, Shashank stepped up immediately, checking on Leon, feeding, exercising him, and taking him in to board as soon as he could with little notice. That kind of reliability in an emergency is rare. What sets Shashank apart is his genuine knowledge of canine behavior. Leon was understandably stressed by all the changes, and Shashank recognized it, communicated clearly with us, and worked patiently with him until he was in a much better place. Leon came home from boarding with Shashank calm and fulfilled. We plan on continuing to work with Shashank as Leon adjusts to life with a new baby, so the transition continues to go smoothly. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
