About: Hi, I’m Solveig! I love caring for cats and dogs! I’ve had my cat, Autumn, for four years now, and I’ve grown up with dogs in my family. I’ve fed, played with, walked, and cared for my family’s dogs from a young age. I’m also an experienced pet-sitter with over ten years of experience caring for cats and dogs in my neighborhood. About: I’ve have a dog since I was 5, have been dog walking since the age of 14 and have always been so fond of pets!!! I am now a senior at UMich and have a lot of time on my hands! I am taking only 3 courses so I will be spending most of my time at home! I will be able to spend majority of my time at home, taking care of your pets! My house is super pet-friendly! There are four of us living in the house and we are all super comfortable with dogs. Dogs are allowed in all beds and coaches! I also really enjoy going on walks and a dog would be an awesome addition!

She is reactive to other dogs, reactive to strangers, doesnt like meeting new people, will lunge and bark if someone tries to pet her, etc. Jorja has been nothing but patient and understanding. She's gone on countless walks with us to help acclimate my dog to her. She's amazing at reading Kona's body language and is able to understand when to back off vs when Kona is more receptive to her attention/affection. Jorja clearly has an amazing understanding of dog behavior and she also seems to intuitively integrate the way I train/interact with Kona into the way she interacts with Kona as well. About: I am a graduate student who adores cats and dogs! I got my first dog at 18 (a King Charles named Rosie) and raising her was a transformative experience :-) I genuinely enjoy all aspects of pet care, and pet sitting has been a great way for me to disconnect from school work for a bit. I have experience taking care of animals big and small, and meeting and caring for each one has been an absolute joy :-) I am a graduate student, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I typically stay in Ann Arbor over the holidays, so I have a lot more flexibility over the winter break. I can take care of small dogs in my home, but cannot take care of cats (unfortunately, my landlord has a cat allergy). I have a preference for taking care of pets in the client’s home. While pet sitting, I can spend the night in the client’s home, or I can remain in my own home and travel back and forth between my home and the client’s for walks/meals etc.

About: I have owner 3 dogs for a majority of my life as well as have had pet chinchillas, birds, hamsters, fish. I especially love big dogs! I am currently a student at the University of Michigan, so I have a lot of availability over the summer and breaks from school as well as time everyday in the afternoon and evening, and mornings on weekends. I live in a student apartment on campus, so I do not currently care for animals in my own home, however, I am very diligent about crating, closing fences and doors, as well as approaching animals in a calm manner.

About: Besides my overwhelming and genuine love for dogs, what sets me apart is my hands-on experience with all ages and temperaments of canines. By the time I was 6 years old, my first family dog was deaf, blind, and very confused. I cared for her no differently than I would any other dog - giving her patience, gentle guidance, and lots of love. Our second dog was a retired show dog with a calm, mellow personality, and I learned how to give her the attention and care she needed. Our third and current dog, Jasper, we got as a puppy.
