Paws & Play: ZeeZee’s Playhouse

I encourage you to read my entire profile, where you’ll find comprehensive details on my prices, offers, fees, and deals! Hello! I’m Kayden. I live in a cozy little townhouse, with a fenced-in backyard! With plenty of professional experience and personal freelance under my belt, I specialise in caring for your furry friend. I keep a limit of five dogs total in my home, which includes my own, ensuring personalised attention for each guest. I’ve been on Rover since late 2021, early 2022. I have an 100% response rate to those that message me, as well as the majority of my first time clients becoming repeat clients. 90% of clients who message me for the first time follow up with their bookings afterwards. I also have 0% of last minute cancellations, meaning I’ve never cancelled last minute on a client! All of this information was taken from my Sitter Insights provided by Rover. Professionally trained in dog behaviour, and have worked with many animals who struggle with psychological or behavioural concerns, as well as pets deemed unfriendly. My specialty is working with newborn kittens, senior cats, rats, rabbits, fish, snakes, birds, as well as puppies, and senior dogs. Previously I worked at Camp Bow Wow Ann Arbor before its closure. When I'm not preoccupied with pet sitting, you’ll find me volunteering at HSHV or Tiny Lions, typically assisting with the care of cats or other small mammals. I currently have taken a break from volunteering to focus more on the pups who stay with me.

Kayden was great with our dogs. He gave us updates and sent pictures while we were gone. Our dogs seemed happy and to be enjoying playing with Kayden's 2 dogs. We will definitely be using him again the next time we need dog boarding.

Drop-In Visits • may. 29, 2026

Kayden was very good at communicating everything about his visits to Ginny and made sure to give her lots of love and attention while he was with her. He gave us a detailed account of each visit: how she seemed to be doing, what he did for her while he was there, etc. From the photos, I would say she really liked having him around.

Kayden went above and beyond. Over the course of boarding, my dog, Goose's, neurological condition worsened such that she could no longer move herself around. Kayden went to much extra trouble to make sure she was still comfortable and getting up and moving around with his help. He kept us well-informed about how things were going and was really patient with Goose and nursing her until we got back. He was really great, and I can't express my gratitude enough for all he did for Goose!

Kayden was so kind, professional and wonderful with the dogs. My toy poodle had anxiety in the beginning, and by the end of the trip, he was rolling over showing his belly for Kayden! Wonderful care, sweet human. Will definitely book again. :)

Schedule

When you first message me, I'll arrange a meet & greet. Typically in your home for drop-ins and walks, and in my home for daycare and boarding. Last-minute bookings are always considered, but a meet & greet is required if other pet owners dogs are being boarded simultaneously, scheduled one to three days beforehand. For all new clients, after we schedule a meet & greet I will ask you to provide a few essential details about your pup including but not limited to; vet information, feeding instructions, emergency contact, dietary restrictions, and your pups behaviours. Daycare requests differ as they don't require a prior meet & greet for booking. Meet & greets are scheduled for up to 30 minutes. Failure to arrive within 20 minutes without prior notice will be considered a no-show. I'll reach out to reschedule or cancel accordingly. During daycare, drop-ins, and boarding, I offer private basic canine training sessions. Note the distinction between drop-ins and walks: a walk is a 30-minute session focused solely on walking, while a drop-in visit includes potty breaks, feeding, medication, playtime, and general checking-ins with your pet. A 30-minute walk can vary by up to 10 minutes, depending on the dog's abilities and the weather.

Pets

A typical day

Rover is my full-time job, ensuring undivided attention for our furry friends. While I'm primarily engaged at home with the dogs, occasional volunteering at HSHV or attending drop-ins and walks at other homes may occur. An alarm prompts potty breaks every 2-4 hours if not already initiated by the dogs, and with weather permitting, the back door remains open for unrestricted outdoor play. Please note, access to the upstairs and basement areas is restricted for both dogs and pet parents. A typical day involves engaging in-house and brought-from-home toys, outdoor playtime, and socializing with my pups and visiting pups. Additionally, pet TV provides an additional entertainment for our pets. While I accept most toys, a semi-strict policy applies to squeaky toys. They're withheld until all pups retire for the night due to their potential to provoke unexpected reactions in dogs. Hence, bringing squeaky toys is discouraged. Please note that I have a semi-strict policy on squeaky toys, as they can sometimes provoke aggressive behavior in dogs, even if they have not shown such tendencies before. You can bring them! They're simply withheld until all pups retire for the night. Feeding times are as follows: - 10 am: Breakfast - 2 pm: Lunch - 6 pm: Dinner *This is a very loose schedule, and can change depending on your personal preferences. During nighttime or my absence, my dogs retire to their crates, and likewise, your dog will do so if a crate is provided. Otherwise, they'll be confined to either the kitchen or living room with the gate closed. To promote relaxation, soothing music is played at night for the pups' comfort. While I will do my best to ensure that any items you bring are not damaged, I cannot guarantee their safety, as dogs can occasionally be unpredictable.

I will ask you to provide your pups current vaccination records. I'll also ask you to provide feeding instructions (how much your dog eats in a day and how much per meal). Along with if your pup is taking any medications, and if they have any food allergies, special needs, injuries, or disabilities. I will also ask you to provide an emergency contact, someone who isn't traveling with you, along with people who are authorised to pick up your pet, if not you. It is important to disclose if your pup has any aggression tendencies, including but not limited to food, people, dogs, and small mammals. I am trained to handle such behaviours, but I do need to be made aware prior to the booking for everyone's safety. I'll also ask you if you have any restrictions on your pets activities, and if there is any person, pet, or situation that makes your pet uncomfortable. For daycare, grooming, and boarding services, the following vaccinations are required: Rabies, Bordetella, Canine Influenza, Distemper, and a Negative Fecal Exam. If your dog cannot be fully vaccinated, kindly inform me before scheduling a meet & greet to prioritise your pet's safety and well-being. Rest assured, my own pups are fully vaccinated. For drop-ins and walks, only the Rabies vaccination is required.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
