1. Leask F.

“Leask was very communicative and sent lots of pictures from his drop-in visits. By the end of his first visit, my cat was already sitting on his lap! Leask also came by for a meet & greet prior to his scheduled visits. He got to meet my cat, and I was able to go over my cat’s routine. Leask is thorough. He took notes while we chatted and asked questions to ensure he was able to provide the best care possible while we were away. Highly recommend!”

2. Hannah L.

“Hannah was great, she came over to my place a couple days beforehand to meet Rex and go over the details. Great communication and plenty of pics. Would definitely want her to watch Rex again!”

3. Vienne N.
“Vienne has pet-sit for several friends and neighbors, including birds, hamsters, cats and dogs. She also owned her own dog, Henry, and cared for him well. She has worked at a doggie day care, where she walked dogs, bathed them, fed them, administered meds, and supervised group play time. She truly loves dogs, and it shows in her interaction and care...they love her too!”

12. Madelyn M.
About: I love dogs and want to spend my time exploring nature with them and meeting their needs. I spent a year volunteering at my local animal shelter as a socialized by walking multiple dogs a few times a week. I’m always a trusted caretaker when my friends’ families go on vacation, giving me experience with all types of temperaments and energy levels. Personally, I’ve had dogs in my family since I was born. I’ve always taken initiative in taking care of them–even taking them to the vet regularly as soon as I had my license. I currently work a full time 8-5 job on weekdays, but I would love to spend evenings with your pets or most anytime on the weekends :) I am very observant about dogs’ comfort levels and would be diligent when walking them to be aware of their surroundings, basic needs, anxiety levels, and enjoyment. I am physically able to maintain control of the leash even with large dogs.

13. Elizabeth M.

“Elizabeth was absolutely lovely. She did a pre-visit so my pet could get to know her with me around. She provided detail reports. I came home to a happy and healthy animal.”

14. Glo L.

“Glo is an absolutely amazing cat sitter. She takes incredible care of our two kitties and goes well above and beyond what any other person on Rover would do for us. We are happy repeat customers and will only ever use Glo as long as we are using Rover!”

15. Ava H.
About: I always had pets growing up and am a huge animal lover. I’ve helped raise and train rescue dogs, cared for neighbors dogs, and am happy to help with dogs of all ages! I’m a full time student at the University of Michigan and would love to incorporate pet care into my week because I miss my pets! My availability is usually consistent for the following hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: Before 10:30AM Saturday and Sunday: Any time! I am comfortable using whatever kind of leash or harness that you use and will follow any preferences regarding walking procedures, commands, and treats/feeding, just let me know!

16. Erin S.

“Erin is a fantastic sitter!! She’s great at accommodating last minute requests and always does a great job entertaining my energetic poodle puppy. Will continue to use her again whenever possible!”

17. Lilian C.
About: I've taken care of pets my whole life. I grew up with a dog who I primarily took care of. My dog has addisons diseases so I have some (still limited) experience with giving medication. I also have dog sat for people when they are gone, fed my neighbors cat's when she goes out of town, and simply just played with dogs since I was a toddler. I am a college student with a very flexible schedule that has many gaps, so I would be able to come whatever time of day you prefer. I cannot do boarding but am happy to still visit on the weekends. I care for my pets in my own home with consistency, love, and thoroughness. While I cannot host animals in my home, I plan on treating your home/pet with the same respect

18. Olivia E.
“Olivia cared for our dogs, as well as several friends' dogs and cats, throughout her high school years. She is extremely reliable, communicates well, and is well loved by our dogs. She exercises them twice a day, provides playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day.”

19. Mya W.
“Mya is the BEST! Not only is she a major dog lover and great with dogs in general, but she also goes the extra mile to make sure your pup is happily exhausted from extra fun walks and playtime! She is also very responsible and thoughtful. Mya dog sat our pup for over a week while our pup was going through some major health issues. Mya made sure to follow our instructions, ask questions about things, take full care of our pup and all of her food/medicine challenges, and gave us frequent updates. We were very nervous to leave our sick pup, but thanks to Mya and her amazing care and communication we were able to enjoy our vacation without feeling worried at all. We absolutely recommend her, our pup loves Mya and I'm sure yours will too!”

20. Katherine G.
“I have two cats. They're both pretty social but can be finicky with new people. Katherine took the time to let my cats warm up to her instead of pressuring them. She also asked me questions to ensure she knew how best to care for them. Katherine is always thoughtful enough to send me photos of my boys, even if I forget to ask. If I ever need someone to watch my cats, I know Katherine is dependable, patient and thorough.”
