“Hana visited our home and cared our cats once every three-day during our overseas travels. During this periods, our home had multiple Wi-Fi and technical issues affecting our cat machines, we felt grateful Hana was able to tackle the issues, so we didn't need to request too many extra visit or worried about the cats on the other side of the globe. We are very pleased Hana was our cats sitter, and highly recommend her!!”

“I am so glad Maeson was available to take care of my cat! She had excellent communication and was patient with my very shy cat. She takes so many pics and leaves a very detailed report of what your pet has been up to, which is always fun to read.”

About: As a semi-retired (work from home) animal lover, I have the time, flexibility, and experience to provide exceptional care for your pets. While I'm new to Rover, I'm certainly not new to pet care. I've been caring for dogs and cats for over 50 years—ever since I was 10 years old! NOTE: I go by MEG not Margaret. I offer: * Dog walking * Drop-in visits for dogs and cats * Doggy daycare in your home or mine * Cat daycare in your home * Short-term overnight stays in your home * Long-term boarding in my home for dogs I maintain a clean, comfortable home with a large yard in a quiet neighborhood. Although the yard is not fenced, your pet's safety is always my top priority, and they will be supervised at all times. I also drive a clean, reliable vehicle should your pet need transportation. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I'll tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a beloved family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. When your pet is with me, they'll be treated like one of my own—with love, patience, compassion, and plenty of attention. My goal is to ensure they're safe, happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away, giving you complete peace of mind. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members. Thank you for considering me for your pet care needs! I am semi-retired working from home. I have a fully flexible schedule. I'm willing to do pick-up and drop-off if necessary. I maintain a large clean home... a calm environment. Your pet can enjoy solitude if needed or is welcome to spend time with my hubby and me in all areas of our home (no children/no pets/no smoking). Alternatively I'm available to stay in your home if that makes your pet more comfortable. I have navigated both scenarios. I'm used to following detailed written instructions so your pet will feel comfortable with their usual routine and expectations. I will maintain contact so you can receive updates and photos. If I am sitting for another pet I would clear it with both families.

“So happy to have booked with Lindsey! She sent me pictures of my cats every day when she visited and played with them and took care of filling up their water bowls and whatever else they needed. Glad to have found her and look forward to booking with her again next time I need a car sitter.”

About: I've been caring for pets my whole life, and have been a trusted sitter for family and friends for many years. I've also been a volunteer for the Humane Society since 2019, helping socialize and train some of the most challenging shelter dogs and cats. I have experience with large and xl dogs, senior animals, and puppies and kittens 8 weeks and older. I grew up in a family that adopted all sorts of pets, from dogs and cats to guinea pigs, horses, parakeets, and one very majestic iguana. While I don't currently have any pets since my last elderly fur baby crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I look forward to adopting again in the future from a rescue organization. I'm a freelance grant writer, which means lots of flexibility to meet your scheduling needs. I can do drop-in visits and overnights at your home, and will happily send you as many photos as you like. Your trust and your fur baby's well being are my top priorities. I always make sure to follow any instructions or rules you have for your home and pets.

About: I have been taking care of animals for 8+ years. I have many years of experience and am also a cat owner myself. I feel very comfortable taking care of pets. My aunt is a vet and always my point of contact when I have questions, so I feel confident that I am knowledgeable about taking care of animals☺️ I currently work full time, from 7a-3:30p. After that I am available to take care of your pets! I also have all weekends and holidays off! I currently have a cat and live in an apartment but am comfortable bringing other animals in. I also have past experience with staying over in clients homes to pet sit and feel very comfortable doing so.
“Melissa was very responsive and responsible; she handled giving my cats meds like a pro. This was my first time using Rover, and I was initially nervous as I had never used an app like this. Would 100% recommend booking with Melissa, I felt like my cats were in great hands.”

“Judy is amazing! I ended up in the hospital unexpectedly, and she helped me out on short notice and has been more than accommodating to my needs and the needs of my dog as well. My dog also seems to love spending time with her and is very comfortable! Judy is beyond caring, selfless, and considerate, I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Elayna is great! She helped us out last minute with a drop-in and even squeezed in a quick meet and greet first. She was kind and communicative. Would definitely use Elayna as a sitter again!”

“Alexis came over to meet Mabel and Edith ahead of potential overnight stays and occasional walks. She was patient with our very friendly (and very excited) girls, who love new people and have absolutely no sense of personal space. She asked thoughtful questions about their routines and personalities, and even about their sister cat, Samoa Jane. Alexis quickly picked up on the girls’ quirks and need for attention, balancing engaging with them while also taking the time to answer our questions. The girls went looking for her after she left, a clear sign they were happy to have met a new friend!”

“Sara had a remarkable ability to understand my cats' behavior and quickly earned their trust. She was meticulous in following all instructions and was an excellent communicator. Impressively, she even went above and beyond to maintain a tidy home, despite my naughty cats causing chaos while I was away. Her care and attention left me feeling confident and relaxed while I was away from home.”

“Meredith was fantastic! She sent us food/walk updates and photos so we knew exactly how things were going. Made everything very easy and took great care of the pup. Would absolutely hire her again.”

“Jamie was great and knowledgeable. Very friendly and helpful in the situation we had. He was always quick to respond to messages and was great with our dog. Listened to the needs and wants and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend using Jamie and already had to rebook him :-).”

“Fatima did a wonderful job watching our two cats! She provided detailed updates and made sure to give them extra treats and attention on top of their daily chores. She was also very prompt and great at communication. We would absolutely book her again!”

Maeson was very communicative and easy to coordinate visits with. She went above and beyond in sending photos and information and my cats got plenty of attention and play during her visits. Maeson was also very on top of logistics such as building access and cat care requests, which gave me peace of mind while out of town. I would absolutely recommend Maeson and plan to rebook in future. :)

Cynthia was a truly wonderful sitter, I would recommend her to anyone! She always brought treats, her own litter bags and lots of attention for my little guy Archie. She treated the house with care and respect and very reliably showed up and provided lovely pictures of my baby.

Maddie is amazing and went above and beyond for our fur babies and our turtle! The pictures were so so great, not as amazing as the care our babies received. They were so stoked for us to come home but I know they thoroughly enjoyed their time with Maddie Checking in on them!

Emilee was able to help us with our cats last minute when my boyfriend and I were leaving for a trip. She made the effort to come to our apartment and meet our babies before we left which made us feel that much more comfortable leaving them. Her updates while we were gone were so meaningful. Highly recommend!
Nicholas was great with our two cats! He showed up at consistent times to feed them, clean the litter, and play with them. We even received pictures of our youngest (Duncan) sitting on his lap, which he never does with strangers. I will happily reach out to him again in the future and recommend others do the same if they’re looking for a friendly, reliable pet sitter.

Teresa was incredibly helpful and setting up a routine visit request that met our needs and her availability. Her updated were thorough and conveyed our kitties satisfaction with her visits. She didnt clock the meet and greet or returning keys and was considerate of our busy schedule throughout. I would highly recommend her for house visits and would also not be surprised at her capabilities for house sitting and board services as well. Thank you so much once again for the wonderful care you gave Otis and ourselves during our trip 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
