“My experience with Jessi was perfect! My shy cats actually came out from under the bed for her. She left super informative feedback and accommodated all my requests! She was super sweet and kind. I will definitely rebook with her soon!”

“Ivy did a great job watching my dog Porter. He is a large dog who is afraid of everything, so he can be a challenge to watch. Ivy quickly made friends with him, and she took care of him while we were away for the holiday. She sent some amazing pictures and went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for.”

“Molly was wonderful with Little Jimmy. After the meet and great I felt very comfortable having her in my home to puppy-sit my little guy. Will definitely have Molly back in the future.”

“Miranda was absolutely wonderful with our pups!! The dogs immediately took to her and loved the time they got to spend together. She was very responsive with us and sent updates with every visit. I highly recommend her!”
“Christina did an amazing job of bonding with my cat. It gave me enormous reassurance while I was traveling to know he was being well cared for. Thanks a million Christina. You're at the top of my list when I'm traveling in the future.”

“Kelly has dipped in to visit our dog when we’re away from home for a long day. She is professional, communicative, and clearly loves animals. She is our go-to dog sitter. Thank you, Kelly!”

“Marla was great! This was my first time using rover and I’m glad Marla was our first experience. Marla got my cats to interact with her on the first visit! I was able to have peace of mind while away, and I’m super grateful for her. Thanks so much!!”

“Very easy to work with and great with my shy cat! She was very communicative and made sure to send videos. My cat is usually pretty shy around new people but Jennifer had no problem getting my cat to come out to her. I will definitely be rehiring Jennifer for my pet needs in the future!”

“Lillian did a wonderful job of taking care of our cat, Kitty. She was communicating with me everyday sharing photos and sending updates on what Kitty did and what she did. Lillian was caring and kind hearted. Thank you Lillian.”

“Stephanie was awesome. I have never trusted anyone else with our dog as he is an older husky and set in his ways and a bit grumpy sometimes. She watched him for 6 days stopping in for multiple visits. We received multiple pictures each visit and told what he had done when she was there. She took all my worries away and I will most definitely use her in the future. We were able to take a family vacation worry free. Thanks again Stephanie!”

“Rani is Heaven sent! We had a prior arrangement that was not going well and Rani was available and flexible and soooo good with our cat, Loki. She really gave him the love and affection that we would have, which is exactly what we were looking for! You will not go wrong with leaving your fur babies in her hands. Thank you again, Rani! You restored our peace. God bless you!”

“We were very pleased with Christine (and Brad) for taking such good care of Freddie while we were gone away on vacation. Christine kept in very good contact with us and kept us apprised each day of how Freddie was doing and what he was doing and sent pics to us each time. Not only did she take excellent care of Freddie, but she also vaccumed the rug of excess cat hair, as he is a long-haired cat, and she didn't want us to come home to clumps of cat fur on the carpet. Additionally, she also watered our plants and brought in our mail daily. We would definitely recommend her (them) to other pet owners and we appreciate everything they did for Freddie and us.”

“Natasha was fabulous!! She is very knowledgeable about animals and was able to administer medication to our cat. We received daily updates, photos, and videos. I highly recommend her and will look to hire her again!”

“Andy came through for us in a pinch when our usual sitter wasn’t available, and I can’t imagine having found anyone who would have done a better job. From our very first conversation I felt like I was in good hands and with every visit I was more and more impressed with how Andy interacted with and cared for our pets & kept us informed and feeling at ease as owners. We got so many great photos and updates and could tell that our cats loved having Andy’s company right away. They are extremely responsible and trustworthy and I would recommend their services to anyone!”

“Emily is the best!!! She is so thorough and has great communication. My dog had the best time with her in the 2.5 weeks I was gone. I didn’t worry about her once because I knew she was in the best care with Emily. ☺️”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Denton
Carissa took great care of our three cats while we were out of town. She came to the meet and greet well-organized and asked good questions. We also arranged for her to water some of our outdoor plants. Every day she arrived within the agreed window and sent lots of great pictures. Our cats were happy and stress-free and seemed to enjoy spending time with Carissa while we were away. We highly recommend her.

Isabelle was amazing! I loved reading her descriptions of her visits and the photos of my babies 💖 I was comforted on my trip knowing she was taking such good care of them. I could tell she really loves animals and my cat MooMoo definitely misses her already lolll, I'll for sure be booking again in the future 💕

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Denton. On Rover:

- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
