“We felt very comfortable with Jessi! Our first time booking her, and she took excellent care of our dog. Quick to communicate and sent detailed updates, which was much appreciated!”

“Lillian went above and beyond for our senior boys while we were away on a long trip. We got constant updates and photos, she gave them so much care and attention, and administered all of their many medicines. I recommend her a hundred times over and will absolutely hire her again!”

“Shengyin (Sean) is the best. I will always check for his availability first whenever I need care for our cats. He cared for our pets as though they were his own and we are very grateful for that.”

“Alyssa was great! She was reliable and sent us updates each day. Alyssa even took care of our garden, which was a huge relief to us! Calvin was happy to report he was very well taken care of in our absence. :)”

“Cadence did a wonderful job taking care of our 14lb Havanese dog. She was punctual, communicative, took him on walks and sent frequent picture updates. We will absolutely hire her again! 5/5.”

“My dog is a bit of a challenge. He is really timid, and it takes him time to get used to people. Rani won him over quickly and took good care of him. Her communication was great, and she gave a lot of details about each of her visits. I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.”

“Ivy did a great job watching my dog Porter. He is a large dog who is afraid of everything, so he can be a challenge to watch. Ivy quickly made friends with him, and she took care of him while we were away for the holiday. She sent some amazing pictures and went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for.”

“As an owner of an angry cat, a quiet cat, and an outgoing cat, I was worried that they would be a handful. Luckily, they loved Taylor (even the angriest older cat), and everything was great. Thank you Taylor!”

About: I’ve spent my life caring for both dogs and cats, which has given me a strong understanding of their unique personalities and needs. My experience with dogs includes working with a wide range of breeds and sizes, as well as serving as a daily dog walker after college, where I focused on consistent, attentive care through exercise, play, and companionship. I’m equally experienced with cats, having cared for them for as long as I can remember. I’m comfortable with everything from feeding and grooming to earning their trust and respecting their boundaries. I frequently cat sit for friends, family, and clients, and take pride in creating a calm, safe environment for them. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve cared for many different types of animals across a variety of settings, including boarding facilities, pet stores, and in clients’ homes. I also volunteer with a humane society, where I work with animals of all temperaments. At home, I have two cats who mean everything to me and have been constant companions through important moments in my life, including my engagement. My pet care schedule fits around my full-time job. I also care for my own cats daily, so animal care is already a consistent part of my routine. I’m happy to provide visits before or after work, and on days when I work from home I have more flexibility to stay longer, give extra attention, and accommodate additional care as needed. I’m also available on weekends for pet care visits. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes to ensure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding, walking, playtime, litter care, and any specific medical or behavioral needs. I prioritize safety and trust by respecting the home, keeping pets secure at all times, and providing attentive, reliable care during each visit.

About: I've taken care of a variety of animals through out my life such as cats, dogs, geckos, and fish. I am trained on giving dogs oral medicine. I volunteer at a local animal shelter where I'm working on my Fear Free Shelter certification and Fear Free Homes certification. I am currently working a part-time job, so my schedule is pretty free. I do not mind early mornings or late evenings. I am flexible. I can drop in and visit your cat or dog. I love playing with both. I can also perform basic care like feeding, watering, cleaning litter boxes. I can also take your dog on walks.
“Peace of mind is what Jenna provided us! We are first time Rover users. Jenna was all business with a huge side of kindness!! She fought the awful elements here in Michigan...we were gone during the extreme cold so we are extra appreciative! She even washed out the food containers I had prepared our dog's food in, as well as the fun lick pad we use for our cat! I honestly didn't expect that because I am lazy and leaving them soaking for a week! Hahaha Also, being that we were gone for 7 days (they are used to me being home everyday) I appreciated the pictures of Piper and Archer cuddling with Jenna! Tells me all I need to know! Jenna will be our future extended fam!”

About: I’ve taken care of dog and cats my entire childhood! I have experience walking dogs (single and in groups) and also cat-sitting. I would love to care for your fur baby while you’re away. I can do most weekends and weekday evenings if I am booked in advance! I work full-time in healthcare, but I can typically incorporate pet-sitting into my schedule. I typically let the cat/dog roam free within their home and will play with them if they are up for it! I am also a very active person who loves to go for walks, so I’d be more than happy to take your dog on a walk around the neighborhood. Or, if allowed, I would be more than happy to take your dog to a nearby park!
“Yaxuan did a great job taking care of our dog! She sent us detailed information about each visit and really went above and beyond what we asked of her. We look forward to working with her again!”

“Janice was absolutely incredible! I reached out to her last minute because we urgently needed someone to check our 12-year-old baby girl for the day, and she responded right away and quickly set up a meet-and-greet with Scarlet. She was so kind, patient, and understanding from the start. When she came to care for Scarlet, she brought toys and treats, sent me lots of pictures and updates, and truly went above and beyond. She even stayed outside with her while she did her business and waited with her in the cold weather. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. I felt completely at peace knowing Scarlet was in such good hands. We will definitely be booking Janice again whenever we’re not available. Thank you so much, Janice!”

“Melissa was super friendly, Cheyenne enjoyed her presence immediately, she communicated well and sent lots of pictures! I will definitely choose her again! Thank you Melissa for loving Cheyenne and pearl while we were away!”

About: I've taken care of a family member's cat, and I have my own cat too. I totally get how you feel and what you might be worried about when you're away from your pets! I'm happy to have a coffee with you and know more about you and your pets, so we can make sure that we're on the same page. In addition, I'll send you lots of pictures and videos when I visit. I am currently a full-time graduate student, so I'm pretty flexible! For drop-in visits, I can do them anytime between 8 am and 10 pm. To make sure I get enough caring information for your pets, please provide me with their health situation/ feeding instructions/ energy level, personality/ litter box cleaning frequency, and anything else you think I should be aware of!
Frain Lake cat parents share their Rover experiences
Julia is always wonderful with our kitties. As our kitties are getting old and having multiple health issues, I needed somebody who can reliably take care of their needs while I am away. Julia can not only attend each of their needs but also handle them beautifully. I did not have any worries while away because I know Julia can love them like her own. Thank you so much!!
