“Fatima was great! She took amazing care of our little cat Alfred and left us detailed notes after each of her visits with him. We have full trust and appreciation of Fatima’s caring expertise.”

“My experience with Jessi was perfect! My shy cats actually came out from under the bed for her. She left super informative feedback and accommodated all my requests! She was super sweet and kind. I will definitely rebook with her soon!”

“Melissa is such a wonderful person! Always send updates with pictures of your pet. She was so amazing when I had to make last-minute changes due to a business meeting. I will definitely keep her as a retainer!”

“Beatriz is wonderful and took great care of Reggie who is old and high maintenance. She is great about communicating and will work with you and your pup to accommodate. Highly recommend Beatriz!”

“Cadence did a wonderful job taking care of our 14lb Havanese dog. She was punctual, communicative, took him on walks and sent frequent picture updates. We will absolutely hire her again! 5/5.”

“Taylor has always been so flexible with me and my schedule even when things get hectic! Thank you for your flexibility and continually working with my shy kitty. We appreciate you!”

“Ava met Riley for an initial meet and greet last week, and then we scheduled this appointment for her to start learning his routine. She was great and even administered some of his medications! He really took a liking to her. She is a natural with animals. We look forward to working with her in the coming weeks in preparation for an upcoming trip that she will be watching Riley during.”

“As I started a new job being away from home for many hours, my wife and I rushed to find someone to drop in on our Golden Retriever. In less than 24-hrs after meeting Emi-Lu, she became part of our family. Emi-Lu asked so many questions, showed deep care, and even left us a special note. She was so detailed and so caring. I know that Finn is safe and well taken care of when he is in Emi-Lu’s care. Her passion for animals, her empathy, and her attention to detail are unmatched!!!”

“Theresa did everything to put our minds at ease when we left our cat Teddy in her care. We knew when she came by to feed and care for him. Theresa took pictures of Teddy playing and interacting with her. We would highly recommend Theresa if and when you need a pet sitter.”

About: I was born and raised as an animal person. There was rarely a time when my family was without a pet of some sort, from dogs and cats to gerbils, rabbits, lizards and hermit crabs. So naturally when I married a fellow animal lover who worked at a dog kennel for 9+ years as a teenager, we decided to get a dog...and then some chickens...and 4 goats...and another dog...and 3 cats. Anyway, now we own a small hobby farm in Salem Twp and are raising two little girls who are also animal lovers. Being a livestock owner means that I deal with a lot of random weird and gross things on a daily basis, so I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. I just want to give your beloved pet the love they deserve when you're away from home, because that's exactly what I want for my animals when I'm gone. I have two elementary aged kids so I'm available during the school day. I work a few hours a week as an early childhood class instructor but otherwise I'm just home or running errands most days. I can't offer pet sitting in my home or overnight at your home, but I'm available to come visit, feed, and walk your pets during the day. I may be able to expand my schedule depending on my kids schedules, so just ask!

“Rani is Heaven sent! We had a prior arrangement that was not going well and Rani was available and flexible and soooo good with our cat, Loki. She really gave him the love and affection that we would have, which is exactly what we were looking for! You will not go wrong with leaving your fur babies in her hands. Thank you again, Rani! You restored our peace. God bless you!”

About: I have two cats and grew up with many animals including dogs, bunnies, reptiles, insects, and fish. My cats have had numerous health issues and I’m comfortable administering medications or doing special care with tough babies! I also worked in an animal research lab where we managed care for farm animals around the clock. I am a graduate student, so my schedule is fairly flexible. Taking care of pets helps me take a break and helps you ensure your pet is getting what they need while you are gone! I have two cats at home, so I am not able to care for other cats, dogs, or pets in my home at this time unfortunately.
“Barb did a wonderful job visiting our 3 kitties this week. She was prompt and thorough. She dealt with some messes and even took out/in our trash and recyclable bins while she was here. Very pleased with Barb and will certainly rebook in the future!”

“Once again, Jenna watched over our cat Archer and our home! Her Rover cards are the best!!! You know you've found the best guardian when you dont give a second thought to whether all is well! Complete peace of mind! Thank you again, Jenna!”

About: I love animals. I grew up with a German Shepard and horses and ponies. We had a Black Lab when my Children were school age whom we adored. I have had large dogs including Rottweilers, Black Lab, Shepard's, and Huskies and taken care of small dogs too including poodles and dachshund's. My neighbors have Two Golden Retrievers whom I spend time with and visit me daily. I have a large yard and I love to play with the dogs and walk dogs. I have a medical background with humans and I am a stickler about safety. I once took care of a cat that needed antibiotics through a tube in his leg. I can safely give medicines to pets. I work from home part time so I have plenty of time to exercise and play with your pup. I live on a country road with lots of good things to sniff. I have a ranch style home in a big yard with lots of shade trees. I will leash your dog if needed when they go outside and stay with them to play. I have security cameras at the front of the property. I live in a very safe and friendly neighborhood.
“We have a puppy that is adopted and a bit of a challenge. Tyler went out of his way to look up ways to help her feel more comfortable and kept open communication around the clock. I would absolutely reccomend him to watch your fur baby.”

Julia was wonderful to work with and I will definitely book with her again. She followed our instructions for animal care and provided photos and updates at each visit. All communication was prompt and professional. Our animals were happy and safe on our return. Something necessary unexpectedly broke on her first day and she was still able to find a way to do what needed to be done despite the challenge -and she let me know. She is an incredibly kind person. I felt like I was leaving a trusted friend to care for my animals and home, which I deeply appreciate as this was the first time we’ve hired this type of care. I strongly recommend her!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Worden. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
