Both dogs loved Anne, but we had to make some plan adjustments when one of our dogs developed a rather bad eye infection. Anne was super flexible with our plans and schedule and helped watch one of our pups, Sakari, for the weekend. She provided ample updates throughout each day, accompanied by lots of pictures and videos!! We knew our girl was in terrific hands and never had to worry while we were apart. Sakari is a bit of an anxious dog, especially with new people and settings, but she was instantly comfortable around Anne. She was taken on plenty of long walks and got all the cuddles her little heart desired while we were away. We cannot recommend Anne enough!!! We will most definitely be asking her to sit for our dogs again in the future!”

About: My family and I live on a small hobby farm in Salem Twp. We have 4 goats, 30+ chickens, two dogs and 3 cats (plus two human kids!) Farm life is busy but I love animals so much and would love to take care of yours, too. I grew up with two cats but never really considered myself to be a "cat person" until Matilda came along. She was found at ~9 weeks old in a box on the side of a rural road near our house. My original plan was to let her live in our barn to catch mice, but well...I fell in love with her. Then we adopted two barn cats who were found by our vet and I also fell in love with them (so much so that they've never been outside the barn because I can't imagine something happening to them.) So now I guess I'm a cat person!

About: I was born and raised as an animal person. There was rarely a time when my family was without a pet of some sort, from dogs and cats to gerbils, rabbits, lizards and hermit crabs. So naturally when I married a fellow animal lover who worked at a dog kennel for 9+ years as a teenager, we decided to get a dog...and then some chickens...and 4 goats...and another dog...and 3 cats. I can't offer pet sitting in my home or overnight at your home, but I'm available to come visit, feed, and walk your pets during the day. “Anne was a God send! We have two dogs that both had meet and greets with her before our weekend away. Both dogs loved Anne, but we had to make some plan adjustments when one of our dogs developed a rather bad eye infection. Anne was super flexible with our plans and schedule and helped watch one of our pups, Sakari, for the weekend. She provided ample updates throughout each day, accompanied by lots of pictures and videos!! We knew our girl was in terrific hands and never had to worry while we were apart. Sakari is a bit of an anxious dog, especially with new people and settings, but she was instantly comfortable around Anne. She was taken on plenty of long walks and got all the cuddles her little heart desired while we were away. We cannot recommend Anne enough!!! We will most definitely be asking her to sit for our dogs again in the future!”
“This was our dog’s second stay with Ariana and her dog Yogi. I was very impressed with our dog’s care during her first stay and I was equally impressed during her second stay. Our dog is not easygoing, and at one point I worried whether we would ever be able to find a sitter who would make her feel comfortable. Ariana is that sitter. She provides a loving, relaxed, fun environment and is exceptionally good at communicating with owners. She sets a new standard.”
About: As a semi-retired (work from home) animal lover, I have the time, flexibility, and experience to provide exceptional care for your pets. While I'm new to Rover, I'm certainly not new to pet care. I've been caring for dogs and cats for over 50 years—ever since I was 10 years old! NOTE: I go by MEG not Margaret. I offer: * Dog walking * Drop-in visits for dogs and cats * Doggy daycare in your home or mine * Cat daycare in your home * Short-term overnight stays in your home * Long-term boarding in my home for dogs I maintain a clean, comfortable home with a large yard in a quiet neighborhood. Although the yard is not fenced, your pet's safety is always my top priority, and they will be supervised at all times. I also drive a clean, reliable vehicle should your pet need transportation. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I'll tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a beloved family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. When your pet is with me, they'll be treated like one of my own—with love, patience, compassion, and plenty of attention. My goal is to ensure they're safe, happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away, giving you complete peace of mind. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members. I maintain a large clean home... a calm environment. Your pet can enjoy solitude if needed or is welcome to spend time with my hubby and me in all areas of our home (no children/no pets/no smoking). Alternatively I'm available to stay in your home if that makes your pet more comfortable. I have navigated both scenarios. I'm used to following detailed written instructions so your pet will feel comfortable with their usual routine and expectations. I will maintain contact so you can receive updates and photos. If I am sitting for another pet I would clear it with both families.

“Kayden is very friendly and knowledgable about dogs. Milo, our dog, is elderly and I was a bit worried about the interactions between his energetic dogs and mine. But all went well and Milo came home healthy and happy after a full week with Kayden, his partner and their four-legged friends. The second concern I had was the small outside area he had available for the dogs to do their business. Milo is picky about where he goes potty and, since there was no grass, I wasn't sure how that would go. Again, Kayden handled it well, taking Milo out for walks when needed. I would take Milo back for future visits if the need arises.”
