“Betsy was fantastic! She left detailed updates on how my cats were doing and sent multiple photos and that assured me that my cats were doing great. Both of my cats seemed to really get along with her and trust her even though one of my cats is notoriously distrustful of strangers. I will definitely choose her again next time I am out of town.”

About: I have been taking care of animals for 8+ years. I have many years of experience and am also a cat owner myself. I feel very comfortable taking care of pets. My aunt is a vet and always my point of contact when I have questions, so I feel confident that I am knowledgeable about taking care of animals☺️ I currently work full time, from 7a-3:30p. After that I am available to take care of your pets! I also have all weekends and holidays off! I currently have a cat and live in an apartment but am comfortable bringing other animals in. I also have past experience with staying over in clients homes to pet sit and feel very comfortable doing so.
“Absolutely loved Melissa as our sitter. Sent multiple photos a day with status updates. Made us feel extremely reassured that Maisie was being taken care of while we were away. Would definitely rebook Melissa again!”

“Courtney is the best. She provided detailed, descriptive and humorous updates of my three cats and went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and comfortable including opening doors for them to look outside, brushing, feeding special wet food and treats, and playing with a laser pointer. She also watered my plans and collected my mail. She is simply the best. Will always hire her because I trust her implicitly with my girls and I feel comfortable while traveling when I miss them so much.”

About: I have two cats and grew up with many animals including dogs, bunnies, reptiles, insects, and fish. My cats have had numerous health issues and I’m comfortable administering medications or doing special care with tough babies! I also worked in an animal research lab where we managed care for farm animals around the clock. I am a graduate student, so my schedule is fairly flexible. Taking care of pets helps me take a break and helps you ensure your pet is getting what they need while you are gone! I have two cats at home, so I am not able to care for other cats, dogs, or pets in my home at this time unfortunately.
“Sitara was very consistent and provided detailed and consistent updates on our cat. She was on time and we loved getting frequent photo updates. She went the extra mile and we would definitely hire her again.”

“Thank you once again Taylor for caring for Finn. We know he is safe with you and that makes our day a little easier. Thank you for filling up his water bowl and restarting Bluey! 😂😂😂😂. Taylor is always preemptively checking in and she has been flexible with our complicated schedule. She cares for Finn as if he were her own puppy and she is extremely good at what she does.”

“Alexis came over to meet Mabel and Edith ahead of potential overnight stays and occasional walks. She was patient with our very friendly (and very excited) girls, who love new people and have absolutely no sense of personal space. She asked thoughtful questions about their routines and personalities, and even about their sister cat, Samoa Jane. Alexis quickly picked up on the girls’ quirks and need for attention, balancing engaging with them while also taking the time to answer our questions. The girls went looking for her after she left, a clear sign they were happy to have met a new friend!”

“Alexis is fabulous! You can tell she loves animals and cares for our cat like it is her own pet, right down to refilling the bird feeder so that our cat can enjoy watching the birds while we’re gone!”

“Fatima is super responsive and was very flexible when we needed to adjust our dates last minute. She is super gentle and even our very shy cat felt comfortable with her by the second time he met her! We were very impressed! We didn't worry about our cats at all while we were away. We are hoping that next time we need a cat sitter she will be available and I'm sure our cats would love to see her again.”

“Excellent service! Christine made sure to get to our place in a snow storm to take care of our dogs. Thank you for the great job and patience with our dogs!”

“Arden was amazing for our senior/deaf kitty Gonzo. He warmed up to her on the first visit, then tried to hold her captive. He loves her and so do we! We will definitely use Arden for future trips.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 1,568 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Webster. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Webster. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
