About: I've personally cared for multiple dogs and cats for most of my life. I've most recently provided in-home care for a number of pets on Trusted Housesitters along with my partner for the past three years. We have received consistent five-star reviews from pet owners. I've also cared for my own two small dogs, and am comfortable managing daily routines, exercise, and behavioral cues. Most recently, I've supported a senior cat with health issues during an acute period providing attentive monitoring and calm, consistent care. I have a flexible schedule allowing me to be present for walks, daily care, and lots of one on one attention on a regular basis. I live on a quiet two-acre country property with open space and low traffic dirt roads. The yard is not fenced so dogs are always supervised outdoors and kept on a leash for walks.

About: I am very well versed in dog care, dog body language, and dog introductions. We have 5.5 acres for dogs to run and I have three who are very wonderful playmates for my guests and fosters. I have a very flexible schedule for dog and cat care! I am a stay at home mother of three school aged kiddos here in Dexter I will treat your animals like my own animals, with love and care, and an emphasis on exercise, play and fun for them as well!

About: I grew up with dogs, as many do. I have experience with an anxious reactive dog, experience taking our dogs through behaviorists and trainers, and experience potty training a puppy. I have watched cats for a handful of friends and have checked in on dogs for other friends and family as well. I am starting with Rover and looking to make a little extra money. Each pet is different and each schedule is different. Reach out and we can talk about what your needs are. I prefer to do meet n greets if you have a pet with behavior concerns. I would care for pets in a client's home, depending on their preferences and needs. A check in would include a meal if needed, walk if needed, medication if needed, potty time if needed, and play time or snuggle time if needed.

About: I currently work at a vet tech. I’m hoping to pursue veterinary school within the next couple years. I have a cat, dog, and tortoise of my own. I love taking care of animals. I’m willing to be flexible with rates too. I have experience sitting independently. New to Rover though! Im working part-time so I have plenty of flexibility with my schedule and will do my best to accommodate your fur babies. They’ll be treated like my own! I cannot provide boarding unfortunately as I don’t have a house. However, I am definitely willing to come sit and do overnight stays if you live a reasonable distance from me.

About: I have experience with all types of temperaments and breeds in all phases of life. My approach towards dogs is that they should receive ample stimulation through individualized exercise needs, walks that allow for lots of sniffing, and play time that allows your dog to feel like they accomplished a mission! In his older years I have learned how to encourage eating following a medical event that left him with no appetite. - I also have experience pet sitting a high energy herding dog who needed minimum of a 2 hours of exercise per day an struggled with resource guarding. With patience, I helped train him to share toys and use his inside voice when he demands something! - When living in Cincinnati with my Shiba, we would spend 10+ hours per week at the local dog park. Here I learned de-escalation with aggressive and unpredictable dogs. SERVICE ANIMALS - In college I helped a friend train a Labrador from 8 weeks old to be a Leader Dog for the Blind. I learned how to crate train, potty train, stop at crosswalks, and train a dogs to be in public spaces through the use positive reinforcement and slow immersion of new situations. - My first (and current) dog is a Shiba Inu, a breed notorious for their stubbornness. I trained him like a service animal (although he is not registered) and he regularly goes to public spaces like crowded festivals, dog friendly music venues, and dog friendly businesses and if often complimented for his calm behavior and ability to sit patiently. I am a full time pet sitter who can do visits morning to evening Monday to Sunday. I travel often and only decline clients when I have a trip planned. I will tailor frequency and duration to your pets needs. I am able to provide all of the following: walks, play time, grooming, nail trims, administering medications, special requests, some training.

About: I love animals. I grew up with a German Shepard and horses and ponies. We had a Black Lab when my Children were school age whom we adored. I have had large dogs including Rottweilers, Black Lab, Shepard's, and Huskies and taken care of small dogs too including poodles and dachshund's. My neighbors have Two Golden Retrievers whom I spend time with and visit me daily. I have a large yard and I love to play with the dogs and walk dogs. I have a medical background with humans and I am a stickler about safety. I once took care of a cat that needed antibiotics through a tube in his leg. I can safely give medicines to pets. I work from home part time so I have plenty of time to exercise and play with your pup. I live on a country road with lots of good things to sniff. I have a ranch style home in a big yard with lots of shade trees. I will leash your dog if needed when they go outside and stay with them to play. I have security cameras at the front of the property. I live in a very safe and friendly neighborhood.
