About: Hello! My name’s Martin, and I’m a Dexter local looking to spend some more time with animals while finishing up my degree at Eastern Michigan. I am also a barista at a cafe on the Northside!! I grew up with both dogs and cats, a chocolate lab named Khloe, a yorkie named Jack, and Gucci the cat. I love spending time with pets all sizes and ages, and would love to get to know you and yours. Please reach out with any questions or to set up a meet and greet. Looking forward to meeting you! I’m currently working part time as a barista in Ann Arbor MI. I am available in the early mornings and afternoons after 3/4! My favorite past times are going on long walks and writing! Being able to incorporate animals into my walks and spending quality time with them relaxing.
“Karla exceeded my expectations and took the absolute best care of my dog while I was away. She was reliable, considerate and incredibly professional. I can’t recommend her more highly and look forward to booking her services again!”

“Betsy took care of our dog (and house) for an entire week while we were away. Communicating with her was easy and straight forward and we received frequent pictures and updates every day. Our dog is on the older side of her life and has some particular needs .It was so good to know she was in great hands while we were away. Our house was also pristine when we returned. I will definitely ask Betsy to take care of our dog for us again in the future . Our best dog-sitting experience thus far! Thanks Betsy :)”

“We loved Elizabeth’s updates while we were on our trip. Our older dog Radish has a plethora of supplements and medications and Elizabeth was happy to accommodate. House was spotless on our return. Would gladly have her back!”

“Katie watched our two large dogs and our cat this weekend and did an amazing job! Super quick responses with any questions and left our house spotless after staying! The dogs seemed exhausted for all the fun they had with her! Can’t wait to hire her again!!”

“Allison did a great job taking care of our two cats. She followed instructions for them and gave them attention. They seemed happy and unstressed when we arrived home.”

About: I started house/pet-sitting earlier this year. I love it! My two extended-stay experiences included an apartment with two cats, and a home with two boxers. I received superior reviews from both clients. I am fit, can go on long walks, and leave the place cleaner than I found it! As a retiree, I have a lot of discretionary time. If in the Washtenaw County area, I may need to run some two-three-hour errands during any given day. That will all be cleared in advance. I am attentive to the pets, and often stop what I'm doing to give them attention. I am excited when they come into the room. And I am exceedingly patient and gentle.
About: Hi! I’m Olivia, and I’d love the chance to care for your pet! I have several years of experience pet sitting for family friends and neighbors, and I’m comfortable following specific routines for feeding, medicine, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I absolutely love animals and grew up with two dogs, so I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m also super active and love walks, so I’d be happy to make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and attention! I’m a recent University of Michigan graduate and current master’s student at the University of Georgia, spending the summer in Ann Arbor for research and family. I’m doing part-time research on a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my days around what works best for you and your pet. This gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pet throughout the day and week. I care for pets in my client’s home by doing my best to keep them comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. Pets obviously do best in familiar environments, so I make sure to follow any instructions closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and other daily habits. I always give them plenty of attention, affection, and patience so they feel secure while you’re away. I make it a priority to treat every home with respect and communicate clearly and reliably so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: My whole life I have had dogs. When I was little a yellow lab, and now a very large charcoal lab, his name is Finn in my profile picture, he’s my best bud. Also added another furry friend to our mix, a red golden retriever, her name is Sadie. I also have four cats, one big orange tabby, a calico, and two black cats. My heart is full of love for animals and I would treat yours like my own. I dog sit for my grandparents as well, and friends as needed. I had the honor of helping train my grandmas dog and Finn as well. Simple things like learning to sit and stay but still important! I am currently home for the summer from college. I attend Ferris State and will return in the fall. So, I am just looking for a part time gig for the summer! Besides one vacation in June I am completely free for all potty breaks, walks, etc during the week. I have two dogs at home if a stay at my home is needed, I have leads available for use as well. We also have a fairly large crate used for our golden when she was a puppy, so your pet can be crated if necessary! My pups are very friendly and would love the extra company! I also have no problem staying at a clients home if that makes things easier! I have reliable transportation and have an SUV to take the pups to the park or anything like that! I often take my dogs with me to the store when I can and sometimes stop for a pup cup.
“We were so blessed to have Brianna care for our dog during a recent vacation. Our original sitter had to cancel and we were really in a bind! Bri came to the rescue and did a wonderful job with our dog whom we've only had with us for a few weeks. She was super communicative and helpful and we truly appreciated her help. She left our home in great shape and Emmy was healthy, happy, and relaxed upon our return! I would highly recommend Brianna to anyone looking for a reliable sitter!”

“All the pets had a great time with Alexis. She sent updates, pictures and took great of the girls during her stay. The dogs got extra special walks and even the cat who is opts to hide came out for hellos and pets! We came home to happy pets and a clean house (an extra bonus!)”

“Ivy was wonderful. Super responsive, took great care of our fur baby and our home! I got fun pictures of walks and play time while we were away. We will book with her again and again!”

About: Feel at ease when you go away, knowing your dog is being well loved and cared for. Tiny chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees and everything in between. Excellent communication. Walks. Companionship. Quality presence. Loving care. Pet care is a daily part of my life as I have two dogs myself and also dogsit frequently. I usually take the dogs on 5 walks a day, and am around more often than not due to a flexible, self employed schedule. Whatever your pet needs and any concerns or you have, I am here for it. If they have a special condition that needs attention, I will be attentive to it. If they need to eat certain food at a certain time, they will receive meals appropriately. If they are normally groomed a certain way, it will happen. If they need a large amount of exercise, they will be fulfilled. If they are cuddle oriented and need lots of love and companionship, you can count on my company. Feel free to be specific and tell me what your dog needs.
“Michelle was great with my Great Danes! She sent many pictures of them running around the yard, getting cozy, and just being their goofy selves. She managed meds, feeds, fun, and supported them through a stormy night. What I appreciated most is that Michelle is a great communicator! I would love to have her watch the boys again!”

“Hanna stayed with our cat all week while we were gone. She was so easy to communicate with and quick to respond! She sent us the cutest pictures and videos all week to get us through the week. 100% will rebook with Hanna.”

“Katie saved our vacation with her last minute availability leaving up to Christmas. Our pups were well cared for and our house was clean when we returned. She sent great photos of the dogs everyday which we appreciated!”

“Autumn was very responsive to my booking request and was nice enough to come to the house and meet the dogs prior to the booking. She seemed to do well with the dogs and was a very respectful houseguest. All in all a great experience”

Hudson Mills pet parents share their Rover experiences
I was very comfortable leaving my two young, active dogs with Jackson for the second time. He is relaxed with the dogs, friendly to me, and was very accommodating in coming by to reacquaint himself with the dogs and house since he hadn't been here for a long time.
