“Betsy took care of our dog (and house) for an entire week while we were away. Communicating with her was easy and straight forward and we received frequent pictures and updates every day. Our dog is on the older side of her life and has some particular needs .It was so good to know she was in great hands while we were away. Our house was also pristine when we returned. I will definitely ask Betsy to take care of our dog for us again in the future . Our best dog-sitting experience thus far! Thanks Betsy :)”

“Brianna was very responsible. She took great care of Flora and our house while we were away. Sent updates and photos and let us know when there were any issues with her schedule. We would recommend Brianna and would book her again to dog and house sit for us. Allowed us to be away worry free.”

“Kim did an amazing job watching my two rescue pups, one of which is older and has distrust of strangers, but Kim did great. She came ahead of the booking day to meet the dogs and make sure that everyone was comfortable and during her stay she sent daily updates, always making sure that we were informed and comfortable with how the dogs were doing. When we came back Kim had left the house in perfect condition, clean, neat, and with some special gifts, including flowers and a custom picture of our dogs made into a magnet, way above and beyond! I will definitely book with her again. Highly recommend Kim!”

“Alexis is just great with my dog and cat. My dog is 100% a herding dog, e.g., needs lots of exercise, and she gave that to her. Fast walks, playing in the backyard with a herding ball, etc. The notes she left about my dog were phenomenal. Very, very informative. I have already scheduled her for later this summer.”

“Fatima took great care of our dog Blue! We felt reassured being away with pictures and updates. Fatima is also very kind and accommodating, would definitely reach out again!”

“Emma did a wonderful job taking care of my 2 dogs for the week. It was my first time leaving them and they can be a bit particular with certain things like eating so I was nervous to leave them but she really put me at ease. She clearly loves dogs and did a great job with them and with keeping me updated throughout the week. Excellent communication. I would definitely trust Emma again in the future :)”

About: I've personally cared for multiple dogs and cats for most of my life. I've most recently provided in-home care for a number of pets on Trusted Housesitters along with my partner for the past three years. We have received consistent five-star reviews from pet owners. I've also cared for my own two small dogs, and am comfortable managing daily routines, exercise, and behavioral cues. Most recently, I've supported a senior cat with health issues during an acute period providing attentive monitoring and calm, consistent care. I have a flexible schedule allowing me to be present for walks, daily care, and lots of one on one attention on a regular basis. I live on a quiet two-acre country property with open space and low traffic dirt roads. The yard is not fenced so dogs are always supervised outdoors and kept on a leash for walks.
“Julie is a blessing for Poncho and I, while we stay in town for 4 months, for work. She is very easy to talk to and communicative. She is very good with poncho, a 100lb pitbull. Thank you Julie!!!”
