“Fantastic experience with Coddy and Byron! Our 1-ish year old Austrlian shepherd, Wes, stayed with them for a portion of July. Coddy and Byron were very responsive to messages, sent updates (and pictures/videos of Wes), and genuinely, thoughtfully incorporated Wes into their home for 2 weeks. Two weeks! We miscalculated Wes's food and, when it become apparent it would run out a few days before, Coddy and Byron rationed and mixed it with their own dogs' food in a way that didn't negatively affect Wes's digestion. If that's not top-tier dog watching, we really don't know what is. Would highly recommend and would book again!”

“This was my first experience leaving one of my dogs with a pet sitter. Before we would occasionally board our dogs with the vet. This was an excellent experience though and I prefer it over boarding with the vet. Rodney was great with my 2 1/2 month old puppy. His dogs, especially Murphy, played so well with Leroy. My little guy loves that big golden retriever. My puppy also came back a few lbs heavier and a bit taller, showing he was well cared for the whole time. When I wasn't going to be back in town until a bit later, Rodney was very accommodating about allowing my mum and sister to pick up the puppy for me. Overall it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend him.”

About: Ive been taking care of dogs my whole life. We actually had Beagle puppies born in our bathroom 13 years ago. I've raised 5 dogs all together. We have 1 left. He's our baby. I will love your dog like my own. I will take care of them like you do. I'm not working so I have plenty of time to walk, play and love on your pet! I am available most weekends and holidays as well. I have a fenced area in my yard, a doggie door and a very friendly senior dog. He's a little loud sometimes, since he's a Beagle but it's all love. Your fur baby will be super happy here. About: I have been taking care of animals for over 20 years. I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and sizes. I have experience with administering medicine, post-surgery care and multiple animals in one setting. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.

Here I learned de-escalation with aggressive and unpredictable dogs. SERVICE ANIMALS - In college I helped a friend train a Labrador from 8 weeks old to be a Leader Dog for the Blind. I learned how to crate train, potty train, stop at crosswalks, and train a dogs to be in public spaces through the use positive reinforcement and slow immersion of new situations. - My first (and current) dog is a Shiba Inu, a breed notorious for their stubbornness. I trained him like a service animal (although he is not registered) and he regularly goes to public spaces like crowded festivals, dog friendly music venues, and dog friendly businesses and if often complimented for his calm behavior and ability to sit patiently. I am a full time pet sitter who can do visits morning to evening Monday to Sunday. I travel often and only decline clients when I have a trip planned. I will tailor frequency and duration to your pets needs. I am able to provide all of the following: walks, play time, grooming, nail trims, administering medications, special requests, some training.

I have a husky of my own so I understand sometimes you need help with watching your fur baby If your fur baby likes to play I can play with it or i have a husky that loves to run and play and can keep your fur baby company and get its energy out.
About: I’ve been caring for loving animals since I was 11, and over the years, family, friends and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk and look after their pets with consistent compassion, patience, and genuine affection. I’m currently working part-time so I’m home throughout the week. I’m available to pet sit, dog walk or provide a midday potty break. Mostly during the week however my schedule is flexible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely, provide gentle companionship, keep their environment clean and comfortable, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and stress-free while their family is away.

About: I currently work at a vet tech. I’m hoping to pursue veterinary school within the next couple years. I have a cat, dog, and tortoise of my own. I love taking care of animals. I’m willing to be flexible with rates too. I have experience sitting independently. New to Rover though! Im working part-time so I have plenty of flexibility with my schedule and will do my best to accommodate your fur babies. They’ll be treated like my own! I cannot provide boarding unfortunately as I don’t have a house. However, I am definitely willing to come sit and do overnight stays if you live a reasonable distance from me.
About: Hi there, I have been involved with dog care since my childhood; growing up as a volunteer with various rescues and animal shelters, to fostering, to adopting and owning my own dogs. I have dealt with many breeds and types of dogs and personalities throughout the years. Unfortunately since my work schedule changes too frequently, I cannot accept bookings more than two weeks in advance. I am great for someone who needs a last minute, short stay booking (1-4 days) at a low affordable cost. If you have a well behaved dog, low-medium energy, that needs a safe, clean, and loving home for a few days while you’re gone, I’m the Rover for you 🙂 I live in an apartment so ideally my home is best suited for small to medium size dogs that are house trained, well behaved, and low-medium energy. I can unfortunately only accept large dogs if they are low energy, behaved, and house trained I do not have a yard but I do have plenty of safe walking space around the neighborhood. During the day, potty breaks are every 4 hours. If your dog is crate trained, that is a plus for overnight sleeping to avoid any issues of being out roaming the apartment without supervision. I am otherwise home and attentive to your dog. Communication is important. I respond quickly and will send daily updates. I’m only charging $20 a night because I know how hard it is to find safe, dependable, and affordable care, especially last minute. So I want to open my home when my schedule allows to help other dog owners I don’t require a meet and greet ahead of time but have no problem if you would like to have one (in person or FaceTime) and see if my place is the right fit for your dog when you’re gone. For the safety of your dog, I do not feed anything but your provided dog food and provided treats. I do not feed human food or my own treats as I don’t want to risk any stomach issues Thank you for your time and consideration
About: I have grown up surrounded by various animals and I love taking care of them. I want to make fur babies as happy as possible! I am currently working part time at a law firm while I go to law school and am looking for a way to hang with more furry friends! I have one small dog at home who is very friendly and playful. “Fantastic experience with Coddy and Byron! Our 1-ish year old Austrlian shepherd, Wes, stayed with them for a portion of July. Coddy and Byron were very responsive to messages, sent updates (and pictures/videos of Wes), and genuinely, thoughtfully incorporated Wes into their home for 2 weeks. Two weeks! We miscalculated Wes's food and, when it become apparent it would run out a few days before, Coddy and Byron rationed and mixed it with their own dogs' food in a way that didn't negatively affect Wes's digestion. If that's not top-tier dog watching, we really don't know what is. Would highly recommend and would book again!”

“This was my first experience leaving one of my dogs with a pet sitter. Before we would occasionally board our dogs with the vet. This was an excellent experience though and I prefer it over boarding with the vet. Rodney was great with my 2 1/2 month old puppy. His dogs, especially Murphy, played so well with Leroy. My little guy loves that big golden retriever. My puppy also came back a few lbs heavier and a bit taller, showing he was well cared for the whole time. When I wasn't going to be back in town until a bit later, Rodney was very accommodating about allowing my mum and sister to pick up the puppy for me. Overall it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend him.”

“Kayden did a terrific job with my 18 week old puppy. I'd been having significant behavioral problems with the pup and Kayden did very well with her and offered me guidance to help get the problems under control at home. Kayden was very responsive to my questions while I was out of town and sent photos as well. Kayden was extremely well organized in managing my dog's meet 'n greet and all the elements of her six day stay. I'd been worried about leaving a very young, not fully house-broken dog but she clearly had a great time. I'm not sure she wanted to return home! Kayden went above and beyond all my expectations.”

About: I have over two years of experience providing foster care and doggy daycare, along with two and a half years of volunteering with the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV). Through HSHV, fostering, and caring for dogs belonging to friends and clients referred to me, I have had the opportunity to work with dogs with many different personalities, energy levels, and comfort levels. Although I don't currently have a dog of my own, dogs have always been a big part of our lives. My partner grew up with a Golden Retriever, and we both genuinely enjoy having dogs around. I am a huge animal lover and am deeply committed to animal welfare. I can accommodate different feeding, walking, potty, and medication routines, and I always follow the instructions provided by each pet parent. When I have a dog staying with me, I plan my day around their needs and make sure they are not treated as an afterthought. We live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood with parks and outdoor areas nearby, giving dogs plenty of opportunities to walk, explore, sniff, and enjoy some fresh air. During their stay, I will make sure their routine is as consistent as possible and provide plenty of attention and supervision.
About: I am very well versed in dog care, dog body language, and dog introductions. We have 5.5 acres for dogs to run and I have three who are very wonderful playmates for my guests and fosters. I have a very flexible schedule for dog and cat care! I am a stay at home mother of three school aged kiddos here in Dexter I will treat your animals like my own animals, with love and care, and an emphasis on exercise, play and fun for them as well!
