We didn't have any of those issues at Catherine’s place! He was completely relaxed, which tells us everything we need to know. I make sure your cats get the entertainment they need whether its the magic laser, the elusive string, some cuddles, or spa time (brushing!). I always leave a fresh bowl of water and a clean litterbox before heading out the door. For indoor cats: I am a triple checker when it comes to opening doors. No escape artists get past me. More on my experience: I have and 11 year old black cat Scarecrow and 10 year old orange cat Mewtwo, both indoor cats. As they age I have learned a lot about administering medications when they don't want them and giving baths when they are feeling feisty. I have been pet sitting for friends and neighbors for years now and love learning about every cats individual quirks and how to respect their space if they are shy or engage with them if they are social.

About: Ive been taking care of dogs my whole life. We actually had Beagle puppies born in our bathroom 13 years ago. I've raised 5 dogs all together. We have 1 left. He's our baby. I will love your dog like my own. I will take care of them like you do. I'm not working so I have plenty of time to walk, play and love on your pet! I am available most weekends and holidays as well. I have a fenced area in my yard, a doggie door and a very friendly senior dog. He's a little loud sometimes, since he's a Beagle but it's all love. Your fur baby will be super happy here. If you prefer I come to you that is perfectly fine too. I will make sure your pet is happy when I leave!

About: My 2 daughters and I are an animal-loving home. We have 2 playful cocker spaniel mixes, 3 dog-friendly cats, and 3 horses (at a barn). I work from home, so can provide constant companionship and supervision. My girls are also home for the summer and love playing with all animals. Our yard is over an acre with an invisible fence. Here I learned de-escalation with aggressive and unpredictable dogs. SERVICE ANIMALS - In college I helped a friend train a Labrador from 8 weeks old to be a Leader Dog for the Blind. I learned how to crate train, potty train, stop at crosswalks, and train a dogs to be in public spaces through the use positive reinforcement and slow immersion of new situations. - My first (and current) dog is a Shiba Inu, a breed notorious for their stubbornness. I trained him like a service animal (although he is not registered) and he regularly goes to public spaces like crowded festivals, dog friendly music venues, and dog friendly businesses and if often complimented for his calm behavior and ability to sit patiently. I am a full time pet sitter who can do visits morning to evening Monday to Sunday. I travel often and only decline clients when I have a trip planned. I will tailor frequency and duration to your pets needs. I am able to provide all of the following: walks, play time, grooming, nail trims, administering medications, special requests, some training.

About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.

About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm during the school year (September-Early June). I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I owned a cat, Higgins, who was a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I was in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving pills. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.

“Our dog, Fluff, had an great stay and was treated just like family while we were away. Fluff usually has a built-in radar for vets, groomers, and boarding facilities—he’s normally incredibly hesitant to leave the car when we arrive, and when we pick him up after a visit/stay, we typically get the 'stink-eye' and he can't get out the door and into the car soon enough. We didn't have any of those issues at Catherine’s place! He was completely relaxed, which tells us everything we need to know. I feel entirely at ease leaving Fluff with her again and plan to when we leave town again.”

We particularly appreciated that Daisy had free rein in the home, and the back yard is fully fenced for playing with her new furry friends.
