I make sure your cats get the entertainment they need whether its the magic laser, the elusive string, some cuddles, or spa time (brushing!). I always leave a fresh bowl of water and a clean litterbox before heading out the door. For indoor cats: I am a triple checker when it comes to opening doors. No escape artists get past me. More on my experience: I have and 11 year old black cat Scarecrow and 10 year old orange cat Mewtwo, both indoor cats. As they age I have learned a lot about administering medications when they don't want them and giving baths when they are feeling feisty. I have been pet sitting for friends and neighbors for years now and love learning about every cats individual quirks and how to respect their space if they are shy or engage with them if they are social.

I have has countless walking and house sitting jobs since I was 14 and I was always the go-to person in the neighborhood if any pets needed walking or any families were going on vacation and were in need of an in-home caretaker, or just someone to visit their fluffy friends during the day and walk/play/spend time with them. About: I’ve devoted my life to animals and taking care of them. I have prior experience in the veterinary field, doggy day cares, and have fostered many dogs over the years for various nonprofits. We live on a small farm and have chickens, quail, cats, rabbits, and kunekune pigs. We also have two dogs. Sylvia is a 12 year old Pit Bull terrier (who is a sweet and lovely advocate for the breed) and Aquila our fun loving 3 year old Icelandic sheepdog. Aquila and I compete in dog sports in our free time. I consider myself especially comfortable with nervous or fearful dogs. I’m currently a stay at home mom and my husband works from home as well, which allows me to have free time throughout the day to accommodate time slots for pet care. As far as boarding goes, one of us is almost always home. While we do not have a fenced yard, we use a long lead that provides lots of room for your dog to play but still be securely attached to me. Our 3 acres allows for walks in the woods and lots of sniffs around our farm animals. We only board one client at a time in our home because quality over quantity is very important to us. If you have a puppy you can expect any training to be ongoing with us and if desired, we can also do extra socialization and outings. Our two children, while very neutral and hands off, are excellent with dogs and are a great positive experience for puppies.

With patience, I helped train him to share toys and use his inside voice when he demands something! - When living in Cincinnati with my Shiba, we would spend 10+ hours per week at the local dog park. Here I learned de-escalation with aggressive and unpredictable dogs. SERVICE ANIMALS - In college I helped a friend train a Labrador from 8 weeks old to be a Leader Dog for the Blind. I learned how to crate train, potty train, stop at crosswalks, and train a dogs to be in public spaces through the use positive reinforcement and slow immersion of new situations. - My first (and current) dog is a Shiba Inu, a breed notorious for their stubbornness. I trained him like a service animal (although he is not registered) and he regularly goes to public spaces like crowded festivals, dog friendly music venues, and dog friendly businesses and if often complimented for his calm behavior and ability to sit patiently. I am a full time pet sitter who can do visits morning to evening Monday to Sunday. I travel often and only decline clients when I have a trip planned. I will tailor frequency and duration to your pets needs. I am able to provide all of the following: walks, play time, grooming, nail trims, administering medications, special requests, some training.
About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. About: Why “baba” pet care? I run a local insured pet care business named “baba”. My fur babies, Lucky and Milo, inspired and gave me courage to start this rewarding business. To give back to local animals, I donate 2% of my proceeds to Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV). My fur babies: I am a mom of a tuxedo cat, Lucky (rescued from HSHV) and a super friendly mini goldendoodle, Milo. I have experience with introducing a dog to a cat household. Lucky, was a malnourished 3+ years old stray cat before I adopted her. Fortunately, I was able to nurse her back to full health. When I adopted Milo, he was only 4 months old. I have had experience training Milo for potty and obedience. Milo is now on his way to become a service dog. My journey: Since then, I have had 30+ clients taking care of puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats with anxiety, accommodating their special needs (i.e. seizures, pain), and providing medications (i.e. pills, eye drops). I have done multiple hours to overnights house sitting, drop-ins, and daycare for pups. I have experience with small dogs (12+lbs), medium, to large dogs (100lbs) and have taken care of multiple fur babies at a time with various range of temperaments. Some breeds I have experience with include German shepherd mix, Aussies, Collie, English Springer Spaniel, Basset Hound, Shiba Inu, Chihuahua, Poodle, Goldendoodle. About: About Me I have shared my life with animals since childhood, and caring for pets is second nature to me. I raised my pug Madison from a tiny puppy all the way through her senior years, and she was a beloved part of my family until she passed at 14 years old. That kind of long-term commitment taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to recognize what an animal needs even when they can't tell you. Today I have two wonderful dogs of my own: Keith, a spirited pug, and Othis, a friendly lab. Between them I stay well practiced in the daily rhythms of dog care, from energetic walks to quiet companionship. Services I Offer I provide flexible, reliable pet care tailored to your needs. This includes house-sitting your dogs while you're away, taking them on walks to keep them happy and exercised, and dropping by during the day to let them out, refresh water, and give them attention. My Experience Dogs have been a constant throughout my life, so I understand their personalities, energy levels, and quirks. I'm also very comfortable with cats, having had several of my own over the years. I know how to respect a cat's independence while making sure they're fed, clean, and content. From playful puppies to easygoing seniors, I adapt my care to fit each animal's temperament and stage of life. Availability I work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to spend meaningful time with your pets rather than rushing through a quick visit. I can accommodate daytime walks and let-outs, midday check-ins, and overnight house-sitting depending on your schedule. Your pets will get genuine attention and companionship, not just a hurried stop. I would love the chance to care for your furry family members and give you peace of mind while you're away. I work remote, so I’m home and can let dogs out, walk them or house sit. I am available to take your dog to the vet. At my house, I do have a fenced in yard. I also have crates. I do prefer to watch dogs at the clients house because a dog is more comfortable in its own environment.

About: I am very well versed in dog care, dog body language, and dog introductions. We have 5.5 acres for dogs to run and I have three who are very wonderful playmates for my guests and fosters. I have a very flexible schedule for dog and cat care! I am a stay at home mother of three school aged kiddos here in Dexter I will treat your animals like my own animals, with love and care, and an emphasis on exercise, play and fun for them as well!
