“Caroline did a great job boarding our dog! She’s extremely responsive to messages and sent us daily videos of George making friends and having a great time! We will absolutely take him back the next time we need boarding!”

“Kelly and Brandon were kind and communicative in helping us to set up our first dog sitting experience for our puppies. They kept us updated w photos all weekend and the pups seemed to have a great time!”

“I'm so grateful I found Coddy & Byron to take care of my "anxious" pup while I was traveling for work. They gave her extra attention & kept in touch with photos and video to give me peace of mind. Highly recommend them.”

“When I contacted Rodney, he is friendly and knowledgeable, always replies promptly. Our dog has a great time during the stay with Rodney, thanks for the update photos and communication messages, which help us in a worry-free mood about our furry kid while away from him. When we picked up our dog, he is obviously very happy. We will definitely use Rodney in near future as his place is a perfect place for our dog. Highly recommend!”

“Karen was very loving towards my puppy. She sent regular updates with pictures. She was open to him sleeping in the bedroom as he’s accustomed to at home which I really appreciated. She also shared concerns about his eating and worked on a solution to get him to eat better while away from home. He was a happy pup with her.”

“Zachary was great for the whole experience! It was the first time boarding our new dog, and Zachary came out to meet us and Pepper, answered questions we had, and Pepper seems like he had a great time! Zachary sent pics during our trip, and was fast and easy to communicate with, both leading up to the boarding dates and while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Mariana and Denys were wonderful with our high-energy pooch! They were quick to respond and we could tell she was well cared for. We would definitely recommend and hope to use their services again!”

“Reneé was great with Lily for a short overnight stay! She took lots of cute photos of her. She even squeezed in a quick walk before our pickup time. Lily will be back!”

“Oscar and his family were amazing hosts for our energetic pup. I really appreciated knowing the dogs were enjoying the shady, fenced-in backyard. The daily videos were a great way to check in and know he was having fun. Thanks again!!”

“Teresa is the best!! She treated my dog as if she were her own and took such good care of her. Multiple walks per day, plenty of love, and lots of photos and updates throughout my trip! So grateful to have found her!”
“Our dog, Fluff, had an great stay and was treated just like family while we were away. Fluff usually has a built-in radar for vets, groomers, and boarding facilities—he’s normally incredibly hesitant to leave the car when we arrive, and when we pick him up after a visit/stay, we typically get the 'stink-eye' and he can't get out the door and into the car soon enough. We didn't have any of those issues at Catherine’s place! He was completely relaxed, which tells us everything we need to know. I feel entirely at ease leaving Fluff with her again and plan to when we leave town again.”

“Deaunna took wonderful care of our Daisy, a 4 y.o. Golden Retriever. Having a couple of other dogs around made her feel comfortable in the new surroundings and she settled in like she was part of the pack. The routine of Deaunna's busy family kept Daisy happily engaged with people coming and going. We particularly appreciated that Daisy had free rein in the home, and the back yard is fully fenced for playing with her new furry friends. Deaunna sent lots of pictures of her on the long walks and Daisy's tail was happily standing tall. Thank you to Deaunna and family.”

“I can’t say enough positive about our first experience with rover which was with Kelsey and Kyle. They took tremendous care of our little yorkie girl who usually is clingy about us but when we picked her up and Kyle left the room she whined and in the two years we’ve had her, we had never heard her whine. They also sent us pics of our girl enjoying her day!! They’re great!!”

“Barbara and Dirk and Zoe were amazing! They welcomed Oliver into their home with love and affection. He was so comfortable and at ease with them. He settled right in and quickly became part of their household. They send me photos and updates while we were gone and I could see he was happy and relaxed with them. We highly recommend them we will definitely leave Olie with them when we need to travel in the future. They are the best!💕”

“Abigail was wonderful; a magic "dog whisperer" for my anxious dog! She suggested a "meet and greet" before, which was really helpful. And whereas I was nervous to leave my anxious dog for the first time, she was calm and that helped both us both (me/my dog) to relax! She sent updates and pictures; these were much appreciated. The clincher: when my mom went to pick my dog up, he wanted to stay with Abigail! : ) I will definitely use her again - thanks, Abigail!”

“Monica and Razvan were so wonderful with my dogs. They knew I was nervous about leaving them. They were very understanding and put me at ease. They sent me pictures and gave me regular updates. I am very happy with their care of my fur kids! Highly recommend.”

“Great experience!!! Nicole was amazing and I was very comfortable leaving my dog with her. Open communication and she sent me several pictures. Will definitely use Nicole again if I need a dog sitter.”

Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
