“Catherine was absolutely amazing! My family had a medical procedure done and I had to stay with my husband in the hospital for a few days and she would send me updates and really cared about my family. Also I got lots of cute pictures of my furbaby when I missed him dearly💛💛”

“Laura was wonderful. She had a fenced yard and two dogs for our dog to play with. She was so understanding when he had some loose stools. Even fed him some rice. She went above and beyond. I wish she had clones in every place we stay. Would definitely use again. She also kept us updated and sent pictures.”

“Christine was AMAZING! If I could give her a 10 I definitely would. Our two dogs were there for 8 days and she kept me posted each and everyone of those days including a beautiful Christmas photo of them. My pups looked like they had so much fun and they were so spoiled I didn't think they would ever want to come back to us ?. Christine and her family were so kind. Thank you for taking such great care of my babies Christine I would definitely do it again ❤ thank you for the beautiful Christmas ornaments of my babies paws that was such a beautiful unexpected gift. Thank you for the gift of having a worried free vacation!”

About: I don’t have any previous pet care experience, but I absolutely love dogs and would love to learn how to take care of them. I want to spend time with them, play with them, take them for walks, and give them lots of love and attention. I’m excited to gain experience, learn about their needs, and build a special bond with them. Even though I’m a beginner, I’m willing to learn and do my best to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I have a busy routine, but I would make time to care for a pet. I would enjoy spending time with them, playing with them, taking them for walks, and making sure they have food, water, and a safe place to rest. I would plan my schedule around their needs and give them love and attention every day. I’m new to pet care, but I’m excited to learn and make it part of my routine. I would care for pets with love, patience, and responsibility. I would follow the pet owner’s instructions, make sure the pets have fresh water and food, keep their environment clean and safe, and spend time playing with them. I would also give them attention, take them for walks if needed, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure. Since I’m new to pet care, I’m willing to learn each pet’s needs and follow the owner’s routine carefully.
“Beth was so good with my 11-year-old dorkie! She responded quickly to my booking request and when I took Zoey over for a pre-meetup, I could tell Zoey already liked Beth. She’s normally a pretty low energy dog, but with Beth, she looked happy and got a little spring in her step! Beth sent me videos and pictures while I was gone and I could tell Zoey was in good hands. With how happy she was, I didn’t think she was going to want to come home with me! Thank you Beth for taking such good care of my baby! I will highly recommend you to everyone looking to board their fur baby!”

“Vanessa was absolutely wonderful! She was so easy to communicate with, sent daily updates and pictures, and was always very responsive. Our dog had an ear infection when we dropped her off and she went above and beyond in helping her get the right level of care. We couldn’t be more grateful for the peace of mind she provided us with while taking care of our dog.”

“Lauren and Cris always take such wonderful care of our dog, send adorable updates, and are very flexible to coordinate with! Our dog even squeaks with excitement when we pull into their place, he loves visiting! I would highly recommend them :)”

“I was apprehensive about leaving Isis as she had never been boarded anywhere, but April made her feel right at home and was very attentive to her needs. I received pictures and updates almost daily which helped ease my mind. If I have a need to board her in the future, I have no doubt that I will again contact April. ”

“Kayden did a terrific job with my 18 week old puppy. I'd been having significant behavioral problems with the pup and Kayden did very well with her and offered me guidance to help get the problems under control at home. Kayden was very responsive to my questions while I was out of town and sent photos as well. Kayden was extremely well organized in managing my dog's meet 'n greet and all the elements of her six day stay. I'd been worried about leaving a very young, not fully house-broken dog but she clearly had a great time. I'm not sure she wanted to return home! Kayden went above and beyond all my expectations.”

“Anne c was an amazing dog sitter she easily accommodated when are plans did not go as requested. She was sweet kind and so nice to doggy pal.would recommend to any dog sitter she is wonderful !”

“Zachary was great for the whole experience! It was the first time boarding our new dog, and Zachary came out to meet us and Pepper, answered questions we had, and Pepper seems like he had a great time! Zachary sent pics during our trip, and was fast and easy to communicate with, both leading up to the boarding dates and while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. Kristi and her family took amazing care of our pup while we were out of town. They were very accommodating and communicative. We received updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog came home happy, well exercised, and clearly well loved. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter! We will definitely be using them again.”

“Our dog Daisy had a great stay. We were sent photos and up dates periodically through out each day. She always looked happy, playing, eating or resting. She came home happy and healthy. We would absolutely recommend and book again!”

“Monica and Razvan took great care of my puppy for her extended stay with them. They were so accommodating and picked her up from a boarding facility and also took care of her for a little bit longer than expected due to travel delays. The communication is great. Monica also sends the cutest photos.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
