“She was awesome, we rescued potentially a bait dog only a couple months ago, with a heart of gold but, we are still working through issues with her and at the last minute our Airbnb canceled and we weren't able to take her. I reached out to Brooklyn and she was available and I explained the situation and she was willing to take her, work with her where she was and still offer her grace. It is one thing to be a pet sitter it is another to have some "caring" for your pet! Thank you again Brooklyn!”

“Catherine has sat my dogs twice, each time for about a week. When we brought them back, they were super excited to see her! Catherine kept the dogs entertained with frequent walks to the park next door and plenty of play time. She paid careful attention to our instructions to reinforce our training. Catherine handled a kerfuffle between our dogs wonderfully, separating them as soon as it happened and attending to their needs right away. She communicated clearly throughout. I highly recommend her, especially if your dog can use some additional socialization!”

“Coddy and Byron are amazing, they take such good care of Baxter when he comes! We never worry when we are gone. We would recommend them to everyone! Thank you guys, see you next time!”

“Marianna took excellent care of Ebony and Calypso, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She provided regular updates along with amazing photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear from everything she shared that they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly appreciated her attention to detail and the level of care she showed my dogs. I would absolutely book with her again.”

“Kelly and Brandon are fantastic sitters - I couldn’t ask for them to do anything differently. My pup was safe, well cared for, and tired out by all the fun she was having.”

“We had an absolutely great experience leaving our dog with Darcy and Dan for a full week. From the start, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with, which immediately put us at ease. They sent us daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated, and it was clear our dog was happy and well cared for. Even with cold weather, they made the effort to play with her and keep her energy levels in check. When it got too cold outside, they were thoughtful and flexible, making adjustments to ensure she was still comfortable and getting the attention she needed. Their yard is a great size—good for a high-energy dog—and it was obvious they genuinely enjoy spending time with the dogs they care for. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters and would absolutely trust them again in the future. We highly recommend Darcy and Dan to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and attentive dog sitters!”

“Yeti ran right in and was very comfortable staying with Melissa again. He got alone well with the other dogs and even got to go for a walk to the park. Melissa is always so nice and takes great at care of Yeti.”

“Zachary was fantastic hosting Spooky for an extended stay. He was very patient with Spooky building up his confidence in his temporary home and sent lots of photos and updates about how he was doing. I can tell from the photos Spooky became quite comfortable with Zachary and in his house. I would definitely request Zachary watch Spooky again.”

“Deanna and her husband did an excellent job taking care of our dog Bernie during his week long stay with them. He is an older dog with mobility and other health challenges. They went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for and felt secure. I highly recommend them!!”

“Karen was a wonderful boarder for our 3 year old, high energy “puppy”! We got daily pictures and updates. Her home is clean and dog friendly! Henry had a wonderful time! She even got him to eat during the week which usually doesn’t happen in our absence. We appreciate her care so we could visit family! THANK YOU!”

“If you want to treat your dog for the spa / vacation while you are gone , do not look any other place ! They are so amazing and lovely . Zoe is also a sweetheart 😍My dog fell in love with both of them instantly! I can not explain how wonderful and lovely they both are . Will definitely bring my dog back”

“We absolutely LOVED having Skip & Mary watch our Scarlett. We booked them for an extended stay (11/14 - 12/3) and she was super spoiled and so well taken care of. They were very responsive and sent regular updates/photos which only showed she was well loved in their care. Scarlett even had new experiences while in their care by going shopping at Cabela's. Scarlett felt right at ease in their home and had the run of the house just like at home. I couldn't have asked for better sitters for our little fur baby. I don't think Scarlett wanted to leave which just shows how great they were with her and how comfortable Scarlett felt. We will definitely be booking again! Thanks you so much Skip & Mary!!!”

“Laura was wonderful. She had a fenced yard and two dogs for our dog to play with. She was so understanding when he had some loose stools. Even fed him some rice. She went above and beyond. I wish she had clones in every place we stay. Would definitely use again. She also kept us updated and sent pictures.”

“Jen & Chrissy are awesome. They have a great setup at their home. They were so caring & doting on my dogs, they had the best time. I frequently received pictures of my pets which made me happy they were playing & having fun. I was very happy with the care I received from Jen & Chrissy”

“Amazing, super sweet and I appreciated how she sent alot of pics and vids of my pup with updates of what they were doing!!🫶🏾 would definitely recommend and will be a returning customer”

About: I grew up in a home that always had at least one dog, so caring for pets has been part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember. From helping train puppies to caring for dogs as they aged, I learned early on the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle handling at every stage of life. What sets me apart is my ability to meet each pet where they are. Some dogs need play and stimulation, while others feel most comfortable with a calm, steady presence — I naturally adjust my energy to match theirs so they feel safe and at ease. Over the years, I’ve also provided regular dog walking and pet-sitting for neighbors and friends, building experience with a variety of personalities, ages, and care needs. I currently have very open availability, which allows me to be flexible with scheduling and fully attentive to the pets in my care. Because my schedule is open right now, I’m able to accommodate a wide range of needs, including daytime walks, drop-ins, overnight care, and last-minute requests when possible. I’m in a transitional season professionally, which gives me the opportunity to dedicate consistent time and energy to pet sitting and dog walking — something I genuinely enjoy. Pet care has always been a natural part of my routine, and I’m happy to provide dependable, consistent care for the families I work with. As a devoted dog owner myself (I have a 4-year-old French Bulldog), I’m naturally very attentive to the needs, comfort, and safety of every pet in my care. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their usual routines — including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions provided — so they feel secure and at ease. I’m mindful of each pet’s personality and energy level, and I create a safe, tidy, and well-balanced environment while their owners are away. I provide consistent supervision, plenty of affection, and thoughtful engagement tailored to each pet’s needs, so they feel comfortable and at ease. I’m also intentional about following your pet’s routine as outlined—from meals to medications to daily schedules—while staying attentive to any changes in behavior. I treat your home with care, keep things clean and secure, and aim to provide a calm, dependable presence you can trust.

“Marley loves her sitter. Shelli does a great job, especially with applying her thyroid medication in her ear twice a day. It takes a gentle hand and an understanding of animals. She has been so helpful and gave us a stress-free trip away knowing Marley is being cared for. Thanks again Shelli. We hope to use you in the future.”

“Hadlie did a great job watching our two cats. She was very communicative the entire time she was caring for them and very professional. Hadlie also went above and beyond helping to water our Christmas tree and shovel part of the drive while we were away. We are so appreciative of her willingness to help in all these ways! Highly recommend!”

“Sydney was amazing! My pets were well taken care of and I did not need to worry at all, she even sent pictures! Sydney also left the house cleaner than it was when she got here. She was very gracious and accommodating when I had a last minute change. I will 100% book Sydney again.”

“Susanna was absolutely wonderful with our two cats. She was very thoughtful and thorough during our initial meeting, asking many questions about our fur babies and taking the time to get to know personalities (this was even before we booked!). Our hesitant cat who is very slow to warm to strangers even came around to her for some head scratches. Susanna was responsive with messaging and provided twice daily updates with pictures and videos, which we loved. We would definitely recommend them!”

“Jeremy and Dayna continue to be an excellent Rover team for our animals. They always go above and beyond in terms of communication, and love for our pets. They are very easy to work with and have treated our cat and dog as if they were their own! Jeremy has even helped me troubleshoot a concern regarding my dog as well as let me know when I was running low on a food product. I highly recommend Jeremy and Dayna!”

“Caroline is the best! She loves the dogs and takes great care of them. She even had a dog birthday party for my dogs first birthday when she was at doggie daycare ! So kind and caring!”

About: Ive been taking care of dogs my whole life. We actually had Beagle puppies born in our bathroom 13 years ago. I've raised 5 dogs all together. We have 1 left. He's our baby. I will love your dog like my own. I will take care of them like you do. I'm not working so I have plenty of time to walk, play and love on your pet! I am available most weekends and holidays as well. I have a fenced area in my yard, a doggie door and a very friendly senior dog. He's a little loud sometimes, since he's a Beagle but it's all love. Your fur baby will be super happy here. “Lauren has been watching my Daisy for a couple weeks now and she is awesome!! Daisy loves her and already knows when we turn down her street that she’s going to daycare. Highly recommend!!”

About: Happy to help when you need it. House sitter, farm sitter, people and seniors. I can multi task and take care of your furry family. I am available most of the time to play with and love your best friend when you can not. Experiences with many animals and medications. I live on a farm and happy to play outside or inside with your animal. I do have fenced area as well as unfenced. We love to be outside.
About: I have a very dog and cat friendly place to call home. Most days I am outside working around the property and the dogs are out with us. I’ve raised our dogs from 8 weeks old and the Labs are obedience trained and have taken their Canine Good Citizen class to hopefully be Therapy dogs soon. Our Pug is the youngest and raised by the Labs and of course, me. In the evenings it’s relax in the chair time. The dogs love to snuggle up and just nap after playing outside. I make my own work schedule and am able to fit work around pets. Usually only leaving the dogs for an errand run here and there. I go outside with all dogs and walk them on the property. I feed 2 times a day plus a snack or whatever is necessary for any visiting pet along with fresh water at all times. All pets have free range of the house day and night unless otherwise requested. I have an outdoor kennel for nice days if they need to be outside for a little while.
“My dog has pretty severe separation anxiety as well as fear of other dogs. It has been challenging finding the right caretaker for him. Richard and Sarah have been fantastic with Guinness and he enjoys his time there. A little out of the way to get him there but worth it because of how great Richard and Sarah are with our boy.”

About: I’ve been caring for loving animals since I was 11, and over the years, family, friends and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk and look after their pets with consistent compassion, patience, and genuine affection. I’m currently working part-time so I’m home throughout the week. I’m available to pet sit, dog walk or provide a midday potty break. Mostly during the week however my schedule is flexible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely, provide gentle companionship, keep their environment clean and comfortable, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and stress-free while their family is away.

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have cared for pets for over 20 years. I’ve had dogs since I was 20 years old and also worked in a veterinary clinic while I was in college, where I gained hands-on experience in animal care and behavior. I currently volunteer with the Humane Society, where I help care for animals in need. I also enjoy spending time with my friends’ and family’s pets and treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playtime, or keeping your pet company, I’m dedicated to providing loving, reliable care. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities! As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and can provide care when it’s needed — whether that’s daily visits, walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, my goal is always the same: to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. In My Home: I provide a clean, pet-friendly environment with lots of space to play, relax, and feel at home. I follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible — including feeding times, walks, playtime, and rest. I limit the number of pets I care for at once to ensure each one gets plenty of individual attention. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you're away. In Your Home: I respect your space and care for your pet just as you would. I stick to their regular routines, give them lots of love and attention, and keep everything clean and tidy. I can also water plants, bring in mail, or do light home tasks if requested. Most importantly, I make sure your pet stays calm, comfortable, and well-cared for in their familiar environment. I understand that every pet is different, so I’m always happy to follow any special instructions or routines to keep them happy and healthy.
“Nicole and her family were amazing with our puppy. She even made a concerted effort to try to use the same methods of training we have been using at home. My kids and puppy love her. As someone from out of state with no friends or family in the area, Nicole will be my first "go to" for the future! It's hard to trust folks with your lil ones sometimes!”

About: Let your dog vacay with me. There will be more wagging and less worrying. Im a caregiver by nature having 40+ years experience as an RN. I am retired and moved to AnnArbor 7/2025, to be near my 3y/o grandson. I am a stay at home mom to my 6 y/o red, fox lab named Roger. Roger is accustomed to having boarders. I live alone. You and your dog are treated like family. I have a large fenced area on an acre lot. Retiring this year after being employed as an RN for 43yrs makes your fur baby my sole priority. I boarded dogs for 10+ years before moving to Ann Arbor in 7/25 so I could be more involved in my grandson's life. Your pet gets lots of T.L.C. in hopes that my home feels safe and comfortable like your home. I am a home-body. I don't like leaving the dogs alone so rarely do. I like to take the dogs on field trips, to nearby forest preserves or parks so they can enjoy new smells. I live alone on 1.2 acres so I have plenty of space for fetch, tag and wading pools. I have a fenced yard which is secure. Walks on leashes are common for a change of scenery and sniffs. Dogs are allowed on all furniture. My king size bed has plenty of space for any fur baby who would like to sleep with me. I only board one dog at a time (unless they are from the same family). Iroutinely send texts with photos so you can see how your dog is enjoying his or her vacation.
About: I will love and care for your furry friends as I do my own. I've owned dogs my whole life and my family would say it's a passion I've never fulfilled (but will be thanks to rover!) I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! I am a Navy Veteran and current full-time student at the University of Michigan and my husband works from home 100% of the time. Your pups will never be left unsupervised. We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.
“Great dog sitter! Highly recommend if you are in need of someone in AA! Felt very comfortable trusting her with our maltipoo and she kept us updated throughout the day.”
About: I've had different dogs in the house for my whole life. As a kid my family brought dogs in for foster care. We've taken care of multiple dogs with disabilities, including deaf dogs and partially blind dogs. Dogs get along with me well and I'm good at getting shy dogs to warm up to me. I've also volunteered with the Jackson County Animal Shelter, working with the cats at PetSmart. I've also taken care of relatives'/friends'/neighbors' pets. Currently I spend most of my time at home working on my online classes so I will have plenty of time to spend caring for your dog. On the rare chance that I'm not home at least one of my parents are in the house and will be able to fill in for me while I'm out. The dogs that I own eat at the same time everyday and go out as needed, but if your dogs need to be treated differently it will be easy to change things for them. Just fill me in on what your pet needs to be taken care of properly and I should be able to get it done.

He is reliable, timely and kept giving me updates. I will use him every time if he is available. I got his name from a friend. He is a great fit for my dogs.”

About: Hi! I’m 23 years old, and I have cared for animals since I was 10 years old! I began by walking door to door with flyers, offering services including walking, daycare, and drop in visits. Since then, I have worked at two different animal daycares and completed an internship at a kennel free, outdoor animal daycare in South Carolina. My goal is to own the same kind of business :) I have experience with all kinds of animals. My parents currently have 9 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 turtle that I have lived with in the past. I have my own bearded dragon and leopard gecko. I’ve worked with exotic animals from snakes to horses. I also have an Australian Shepherd of my own, Marble, who loves other dogs. She’s three years old and full of energy. Before providing any service, I’ll ask if you’d be okay with your fur baby meeting mine :) I am more than okay with having them meet beforehand, as well. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I’m excited to meet your kitty/pup! I am a personal assistant to a couple that I actually met from pet sitting! I am able to work from home whenever necessary, as well as bring any pets to work with me! I am not currently providing services in my home, but if it does happen, I have a doggy door and a fenced in yard that’s perfect for dogs. It’s past a glass door, so I can open/close access as needed!

I have experience cat-sitting for pay as well and volunteered at a cat shelter, which I loved, that gave me experience with some special needs cats. I would also like to note that I do not do recurring walks; my walking service is mostly open for one time walks for clients who can't get home for their pets. If you are within ~15 minutes of either where I am or where my classes are, my price for drop-ins is discounted to $15 instead of $25. I also do not have house sitting open right now due to classes but feel free to contact me if you'd like to discuss it to see if I might be able to accept it. :) I can easily crate your pets if needed and I'm good with leashes/harnesses. I never leave doors open, so you won't have to worry about your pets escaping.

About: Dogs seem to love me. Personally I've had 3 dogs in my lifetime, and have taken care of many with a business. I am an animal fanatic. I can guarantee that your pet will be in safe hands with me. I am very pet friendly and you can trust that I will take care of any needs that your pet has. I'm currently working full time but I'm looking to get out of the position I'm in to be a pet caregiver as well as a house cleaner. I currently have 2 dogs and LOTS of snails. I am religious when it comes to pet feeding, grooming and any medications. These animals are our family. We may not have them our whole life, but they have us their whole life. We need to make it the best one they could ever dream of. (I don't know about dog psychology but I can assume they dream. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to explain my dog running in his sleep 🤣😉)
About: I have had dogs and cats since I was little, giving me over 25 years of experience feeding, bathing and loving. I have also worked in two vet offices for a short time helping the vets with their patients. I am a mom of a wonderful little 1 year old, working midnights at Chelsea hospital and I am looking to care for other peoples pets like they are my own. Looking to stay active this summer and what better way then walking a fur baby! I will treat your babies as if they were one of my own. I am a huge animal lover and will make sure each of your animals receive the best care, whether it be a nice long walk, feeding, bathing or just a snuggle
About: Whether your furry companion needs dinner, fresh air, or some friendly company - look no further!! Hi, I'm Julia and my love runs deep for animals!! I have over 30 years of experience playing fetch, changing litter, and safely caring for cuddly & crazy pets. I grew up with Irish Setters, who I love to tire out and now as an adult, I care for a 14 year old, diabetic, cat. If you have a pet that needs injections, I am able to help with that. Let me alleviate any worry, anxiety or stress involving your busy schedule and your furry friend(s)! I am currently working remotely and I am happy to discuss scheduling and accommodations that best meet the needs for you and your furry friends. I will come to you! Your pet(s) will receive tons of snuggles and exercise while you are away. I focus on your pet(s) safety, happiness, and activity - in the comfort of their familiar environment.

“Mina did a great job. The meet and greet went well and she does plenty of pictures and videos multiple times a day. Our dog seemed to enjoy his time there as well! Would highly recommend.”

“Oscar did a great job looking after my pup. He kept me updated and sent pics. She was well taken care of and seemed to enjoy the experience. I will definitely use Oscar’s services again.”

“They took good care of my pup. They welcomed us in their home and made sure Snuggz was accommodated. They were even so kind to provide a bowl since I forgot to bring one. The communication was also great when needed. I would recommend”

“This was the longest we’ve ever left Jamaica with someone outside of family, and we didn’t have to worry at all. Just like on our shorter trips leading up to this one, she couldn’t wait to see Amber again—she ran right over and barely looked back at us! It’s clear she absolutely loves spending time with Amber, which gives us so much peace of mind. We’ll definitely continue booking with Amber for as long as she’s offering Rover services.”

“Ariana took amazing care of Murphy for us. As a senior dog he has his quirks and Ariana worked to make sure he was happy and content. Lots of communication that made us feel at ease knowing Murphy was well cared for. We highly recommend Ariana to watch your fur baby.”
