If your dog is staying for the day, there is an option to keep them separate if needed. However he loves to play with new dogs!

About: Hello pet parents! I am originally from Connecticut and did my undergrad in Philly. Prior to moving to Ann Arbor I lived in Portland, OR for a few years where I got my start on Rover (2020-2023) though I have been caring for dogs & cats professionally since I was in high school. I spent the last two years in NYC where sadly I had to take a break from Rover, so i'm very excited to be back in a house with a yard so I can resume this important part of my life. As you can see by the photos on my profile, being around dogs is when I'm the happiest. My dog-sitter MO is similar to my personal lifestyle which is to be active and doing things outdoors as much as possible. I also understand that, like humans, every dog has a personality of their own and I value the importance of catering to this, especially being a new and unfamiliar face for them. I work from home during this time so it’s quite easy for me to juggle the responsibility, even for the needier ones. Outside of work hours I like to get outside for a walk or hike. I have a truck, so its also easy for me to take the dogs with me on a woodsy adventure or to the dog park. I think part of what makes a situation safe for pets is familiarity and therefore always suggest the least amount of disruption to their normal schedule, which is typically within their own households.
