I also regularly care for my own golden retriever, handling daily walks, feeding, playtime, and routine care. This has given me hands-on experience with an active, friendly breed that needs consistent exercise and attention. I am completely free on weekends, which allows me to be very flexible with timing for longer walks, multiple visits, or extended care. I prioritize consistency and clear communication, so pet owners always know when to expect updates and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to respect their space and follow all instructions exactly as provided. I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free by maintaining their normal routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I’m attentive to safety at all times—making sure leashes are secure, doors and gates are closed, and pets are supervised during walks and visits. I pay close attention to behavior and energy levels, especially in new environments, and adjust care as needed. I also prioritize clear communication and trust. About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve always been a huge dog lover and have cared for dogs through friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and giving dogs plenty of love and attention. I’m also very dependable and will treat your dog like they’re my own. My background in healthcare has taught me to be patient, responsible, and attentive to details, and I’ll always prioritize your pet’s safety and well-being. I’ll be moving to Wyoming on October 5 for a short-term job as I prepare for graduate school, and I’ll have a very flexible schedule leading up to that. From September 16 through October 5, I’ll have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and will make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. I’m available for both weekday and weekend bookings during this time. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. About: Experienced with dogs, cats, and everything in between. I miss my German Shepherd that passed a few years ago and thought caring for other people’s pet might be a fun alternative. As a Native American and proud steward of nature, my connection to animals runs deep — it’s not just what I do, it’s part of who I am. From raising puppies with positive-reinforcement training to providing loving end-of-life care for a senior dog, I bring patience, experience, and genuine devotion to every animal in my care. I’m also a quick learner and happy to follow any specific routines or preferences you have for your pet. Over the years I’ve worked with an unusually wide range of animals, including chickens, horses, cows, reptiles, sugar gliders, and even wildlife like squirrels, raccoons, and whitetail deer. Whatever your pet needs, chances are I’ve been there. My schedule is currently flexible, allowing a wide-range of potential scheduling options to support you and your pets’ needs. Please reach out to discuss your situation and care needs. Pets need a safe and secure environment. I think part of what makes a situation safe for pets is familiarity and therefore always suggest the least amount of disruption to their normal schedule, which is typically within their own households. It’s important to understand your pets’ typical detailed routine and work to drive similar consistency during care. I’m open to other arrangements based on your individual needs.

My aunt is a vet and always my point of contact when I have questions, so I feel confident that I am knowledgeable about taking care of animals☺️ I currently work full time, from 7a-3:30p. After that I am available to take care of your pets! I also have all weekends and holidays off! I currently have a cat and live in an apartment but am comfortable bringing other animals in. About: I grew up with Siberian huskies and am comfortable around high energy breeds! I also care for cats of friends and family, including cats with medical needs. I work a very non-traditional schedule, with rotating days and shifts. That being said, there’s almost always a way to figure out 1-2 visits or walks per day (though one may be preferred on some days). Reach out and we can figure it out! I am respectful of any space I am invited into, and I am diligent about security. I am comfortable working with any special requests you may have.

About: I have cared for quite a few dogs (and cats) in the past, some young and some old, some big and some small. No matter how much hair your dog has, how rowdy they are, or how fragile they have become, I will care for them all the same! I promise I am reliable, responsible, and always put your pets' needs first. I can take your dog on a walk, feed them, make sure they get plenty of fun exercise outside, and show them all the love and care they deserve. I hope to meet your adorable pup(s) soon! I am a student and a part-time employee though I have lots of flexibility in the summer. Most days and times work for me! I have two sweet and lovable cats of my own, so I am unable to care for pets in my own home. I am very active, though, and I love going for walks. So why not have an adorable dog by my side!

About: I grew up owning and taking care of pets (cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, and more) and have taken care of dogs and cats for family and neighbors on and off for over 20 years. I work in tech and have a flexible schedule to ensure your pet's needs are met throughout the day. As a mom, I am used to waking up early or even in the middle of the night as needed. I live in a large house with no other pets (besides fish). My three children are very comfortable around animals. I also live on a preserve, which is perfect for long nature walks with a dog!

“This was our first time using Rover! We wanted an animal lover, and we needed someone we felt we could trust like family — Emily was just that. She met our two dachshunds and our two siamese cats at our meet and greet, and we knew she was a true animal lover. For this past trip, she looked after our two siamese cats for a week and even managed to earn the approval of our very territorial female siamese (few have done — even family members). She went above and beyond giving them the attention each of them needed based on their unique personalities, and gave us updates with every visit. It was such a relief knowing Emily was looking after our kitties and we didn’t have to worry about how they were doing. We hope to book her for our next trip!”

About: I love animals. I grew up with a German Shepard and horses and ponies. We had a Black Lab when my Children were school age whom we adored. I have had large dogs including Rottweilers, Black Lab, Shepard's, and Huskies and taken care of small dogs too including poodles and dachshund's. My neighbors have Two Golden Retrievers whom I spend time with and visit me daily. I have a large yard and I love to play with the dogs and walk dogs. I have a medical background with humans and I am a stickler about safety. I once took care of a cat that needed antibiotics through a tube in his leg. I can safely give medicines to pets. I work from home part time so I have plenty of time to exercise and play with your pup. I live on a country road with lots of good things to sniff. I have a ranch style home in a big yard with lots of shade trees. I will leash your dog if needed when they go outside and stay with them to play. I have security cameras at the front of the property. I live in a very safe and friendly neighborhood.

“Regan is great. She took care of our two cats and rabbit. She somehow managed to clean up all the Timothy hay from the rabbit's playroom floor, leaving the place cleaner than we left it. She also managed to bond with the rabbit... sent us a picture of her petting the rabbit in her lap, which I have never been able to do! Regan also has a great fun personality and is easy to communicate with.”
