“Meaghan was amazing! She did such a wonderful job with my dog Arlo, was so friendly and courteous and gave amazing updates! She was very accommodating and super professional. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: I absolutely adore all animals, especially dogs! I have been caring for and house sitting dogs of all breeds since I was 15 years old. Throughout my experience, I have cared for both puppies and senior dogs making sure to adapt to each dog's unique personality and needs. I have grown up and lived with dogs my entire life, so I understand the importance of providing them with love, attention, and exercise. I am highly attentive, reliable, and committed to satisfying both the pet’s and owner’s needs. I am currently a student; however, I have a very flexible schedule, and can tailor my schedule towards the needs of my clients. I can work weekends. I am a focused and hard worker and will make sure your pet is cared for to the best of my ability. I love all animals and want to make sure that their needs are met through exercise, love, and care.
“Janice is probably the most caring sitter I’ve ever met. She cared for each one of my 5 pups like her own. I’m probably only going to be booking with her exclusively from now own. Thanks so much, Janice!! You’re awesome!!”

“Katja took great care of my cats while we were on vacation. Stopped by as scheduled, brought a laser pointer for play, and spent plenty of time with them. Will definitely hire her again for next time!!”

“Sophia is an awesome pet sitter! She was punctual, communicative, and our house and dog were in great shape when we got home. Would definitely use Sophia as a sitter again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and I love them. What sets me apart is reliability and attention to detail. I am organized, punctual, and respectful of both your home and your pet’s established routine. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, and behavioral preferences. I also recognize that every dog has a different personality. Some want play and engagement. Others simply want a calm presence and consistency. I adapt to what your dog needs, not the other way around. You can expect clear communication, updates, and thoughtful care while you are away. Currently have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening visits. I am available on weekdays and weekends and can adjust visit times to match your cat’s normal routine. I understand that consistency is important for cats, so I prioritize keeping feeding, play, and medication schedules aligned with what they are used to at home. Clear communication and punctuality are important to me, and you can expect reliable, on-time visits.
“Meredith was fantastic! She sent us food/walk updates and photos so we knew exactly how things were going. Made everything very easy and took great care of the pup. Would absolutely hire her again.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and I love taking care of them! I have experience with walking them, feeding them, and keeping them company :) I plan to work part-time this summer, but I don’t have anything set in stone yet. Other than that, I don’t have many conflicts. I will probably be free most days and evenings of the week. You can trust me to care for your pet in almost any way they need. I am thorough and will always make sure they are healthy and happy in my care.

About: I have walked some dogs before as well as staying at their houses. Little ones and big ones. I’ve taken care of two senior dogs. I’ve let some of my neighbors animals out or if needed I went and fed them. I also work at a doggy daycare I work a full time job at a doggy daycare. I am free Monday and Friday afternoons. Mornings of Tuesday-Thursday and I occasionally work Saturdays 9-5. I am free everyday of the week for snuggles with your babies I unfortunately don’t get to take my dog out for walks often but when I watch other dogs I play outside with them and take them on walks because they usually live in a neighborhood. I feed them when needed and I give them medicine if they need it.
“Jackie did excellent making sure our boys weren't too lonely while we were gone! For a first time rover user I am pleased Jackie was able to keep watch over our kitties for us and provide us with updates.”

“My dog is a bit of a challenge. He is really timid, and it takes him time to get used to people. Rani won him over quickly and took good care of him. Her communication was great, and she gave a lot of details about each of her visits. I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.”

“Katie took good care of our kitties while we were away. She sent nice photos everyday and always kept us posted about how they were doing. We will for sure get in touch with her for next time we need someone to look after our babies”

“Madeline took incredible care of my dogs. I was very nervous as this was my first time using someone other than my family take care of them and she went above and beyond to ease my nerves. My very particular dogs loved her. She treated them as if they were her own. I will definitely be using Madeline again and highly recommend to anyone”
About: Hi there, I have been involved with dog care since my childhood; growing up as a volunteer with various rescues and animal shelters, to fostering, to adopting and owning my own dogs. I have dealt with many breeds and types of dogs and personalities throughout the years. Unfortunately since my work schedule changes too frequently, I cannot accept bookings more than two weeks in advance. I am great for someone who needs a last minute, short stay booking (1-4 days) at a low affordable cost. If you have a well behaved dog, low-medium energy, that needs a safe, clean, and loving home for a few days while you’re gone, I’m the Rover for you 🙂 I live in an apartment so ideally my home is best suited for small to medium size dogs that are house trained, well behaved, and low-medium energy. I can unfortunately only accept large dogs if they are low energy, behaved, and house trained I do not have a yard but I do have plenty of safe walking space around the neighborhood. During the day, potty breaks are every 4 hours. If your dog is crate trained, that is a plus for overnight sleeping to avoid any issues of being out roaming the apartment without supervision. I am otherwise home and attentive to your dog. Communication is important. I respond quickly and will send daily updates. I’m only charging $20 a night because I know how hard it is to find safe, dependable, and affordable care, especially last minute. So I want to open my home when my schedule allows to help other dog owners I don’t require a meet and greet ahead of time but have no problem if you would like to have one (in person or FaceTime) and see if my place is the right fit for your dog when you’re gone. For the safety of your dog, I do not feed anything but your provided dog food and provided treats. I do not feed human food or my own treats as I don’t want to risk any stomach issues Thank you for your time and consideration
The median cost per visit for dog sitting in Saline is $20

Hannah is my go-to sitter for my two big dogs – a Newf and a Great Pyr – and she is absolutely fantastic. Hannah is totally professional, responsible, dependable, and of course the dogs adore her. She has stayed with them when I’ve been gone for days at a time, and also done drop-in visits and walks. I recommend Hannah in the highest possible terms.

Thank you so much! You did a fantastic job! I hope you have a great time with Polar and Minnie. I’ll be planning a trip in the future, and if that works for you, I’ll reach out again. I’d also love to learn more about your job and what services you provide for pets, including any job descriptions you might have. That would really help me understand your services better.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Saline with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
